Hi..when press the blue icon in the bottom left corner to start the download and choose the type of chromebook I have ....Nothing happens...what am I doing wrong?
Hello, I do all the steps and when I take the pendrive to the damaged computer it says that steps 1 and 2 are completed but 3 indicates an error, I already bought another pendrive and it does exactly the same thing.
hii when i press the esc+refresh+power button it back to "Chrome OS is missing or damaged. Please remove all connected devices and start recovery" how to get in usb mode?
@@Chai-x15 i don't know why it makes so many usb partitions but you can format the usb drive with the chromebook recovery utility and its back to normal
Maybe try using a diffrent usb flash drive, sd card, or use a diffrent chrome os image at 5:00. A lot of chromeOS images in the recovery tool are broken for some weird reason so you might have to manually download an image here chromiumdash.appspot.com/serving-builds?deviceCategory=ChromeOS
@@powerblastx Yes and the screen blacks out during the verification process , tried a lot of pendrives, notebook positions (yes I saw a video when they change the position of the chormebook and it revives),hard reset, and now i finally found a image of my chormebook in that web site, save it with rufus and after i put the pendrive into the chormebook it show the "the device you inserted does not contain Chrome OS" .
@@JorgeRodriguezPalenzuelait looks like your chromebook might be codenamed "pyro" and it might be a ThinkPad chromebook. Try searching up pyro or ThinkPad in the images website.
The problem might be the sd card or something is wrong with the chrome os image. Try using a different sd card or usb flash drive or a different chrome os image. Skip to 4:38 if you need help on using a different chrome os image.

Actually my problem now is the boot screen is not appearing for me the one thing is showing now is “your os is damaged and so on” how can I reset all the system and the boot shows to me. Help me please!
Hi. If the chromebook the crash screen, you will need another computer to put the firmware on a usb drive then you put that usb in the crashed chromebook. If the chromebook does not show the screen, what does it show? If it shows nothing, try plugging the chromebook in to charge for a little bit and try pressing the power button or esc refresh power. when i connect a usb stick nothing pops up on the recovery utility
@@sukhmanikaur6030 try the alternative method at 4:38 and if that does not work, use a different usb stick

after plugging in the usb it goes to a black screen then goes back to the original screen

No matter what I did, I couldn't change this screen. It doesn't work. I press the buttons but there is no response. What is the problem?

No clue what safe mode b4 is but this Process Will erase and factory reset everything.
