I love how this guy looks in robot mode. Personally the vehicle mode being kinda funky doesn't bug me, I don't display them in that mode anyway.
That's cool
The vehicle mode is important to me. It doesn't have to be perfect but is a big part of it. It seems to me that otherwise just get an action master or RED line.
I like to change which mode I display them in periodically.
I wouldn't say I liked It at first but when I have It on my hands all changes, It´s fantastic.
Owning this guy, I can say that the way the legs form the wings is pretty clever!!
A lot of people hate this guy but I love him. All that kibble can even form sort of a flight stand in jet mode.
Some great overall quality and heft. Looks great in tank mode. Amazing in robot mode. And there is a plane mode too :)

I agree, there are definite and major improvements here over Titans Return. The jet sucks, but I did see someone on Reddit who essentially made a flight stand of the tank parts by flipping the robot chest hinge downward and flattening the tank parts out to form a base. I haven't tried it yet myself, but the photo I saw looked cool. The G1 figure has always been my favorite figure for this character, but I think this new one is a close second. I like the robot mode much more, but the jet mode much less.
This is the next best thing to a Masterpiece Blitzwing

I foresee an upgrade kit to fill out the look of the tank and hide the jet cockpit better, just like that upgrade kit they made for ASTROTRAIN.
The whole review was great, but the outtake at the end was perfect.

I like him also. Jet mode isn't great, but it is passable (a lifetime of weird Star Wars, Joe, TF vehicles has let me build a tolerance to these styles). The hands went into the accessories box I got a couple years ago from Family Dollar for around two bucks.
Great review, probably the best and most honest I've seen. Sucks that he's got some flaws, but like you said, I like him.

I was this close to getting Blitzy, but when I found out he was _shorter_ than TR Blitz, I got Legacy Galvatron instead.
For me, I have a thing for jet modes and it really kinda hurts that ol’ Blitz’s jet mode is so bad. At least the Titans one was a more streamlined whereas Legacy is blatantly not giving a crap. I find it funny how Hasbro either bats a 1000 or just completely misses the bar.
The really "funny" thing is how much more expensive this one is than the Titans Return version, but yet so much less effort.
A definite improvement over the Titans Return one. Only thing I like better on Titans Return is the plane mode. Legacy is better on Robot and Tank mode to me.

Legacy, while not perfect, will be the final iteration of these characters that I buy! Lol k, been saying that since the last few lines, since I came back in with the Classics line. With what you get for the price, this is finally it. It's getting too pricey, especially when there's a cast of dozens, upon dozens of characters.

He’s awesome. The plastic fists are a mystery wrapped in an enigma for me.
They shouldn't be. It's an optional add on gimmick to give you as much for $55 as possible.

I feel like the mech fans version looks the best overall this blitzwing looks nice in robot mode but that plane mode looks like it's in the middle of a transformation into tank mode.
Is Mech fans toys leader class or Voyager class size?

As far as I know they make legend scale figures meaning it's probably the height of a deluxe. I was asking because I wouldn't even compare them
To be fair, the alt modes are accurate to the cartoon, which I prefer. Now the only question is if this guy is going to yellow like every other transformers figure releasing now. What a damn shame this had to happen to the franchise at a time like this. Thank you Hasbro for your utter incompetence.

I believe you mistransformed the feet. The silver tailfin flips backwards and there is a peg it connects to to lock in place
There may be a tab there to fit it backward but the tail fans are always meant to sit forward beside his toe since the first version of him and on the cartoon.
You think Hasbro is gonna double dip and do Blitzwing 86?
No, If they do I won't be buying it. Just like I didn't buy Starscream. He's going to have to be $20 or below before I pay for that
If they hadn't made all the parts closed off in robot mode (some gaps are OK in robots) and included those stupid, pointless arm/blaster things, I feel that they would have been able to fix a lot if the problems with this figure.
They probably could have gotten that flap to hide the purple on tank mode and push in that cockpit in tank mode.
And why exactly does it have a second, faux cockpit that is not used in any mode?
His robot mode looks great, but the alt modes suck compared to the Titans one

There's nothing to understand. They're optional weapons. They're meant to do everything I show them do in this video
Legacy has the better tank mode
Titan's Return has the better jet mode
And Legacy has the better robot mode

Not going to lie after this series of transformers im done so tired of re buying toys to get the best version.
I like the G1 alt modes way better, honestly. The robot mode looks sick, but I will not buy it for just one mode.

My bad dude. I watched the first 20 minutes earlier and got caught up doing something, I just finished it. I think im going to go for the legacy. I like the plane mode on the titans a lot more. I think a more toon accurate headmaster would make a lot of difference.
