Ngl, you did a good job, @Zoom for preserving this video, because to me it was bizarre that it would get privated/unlisted, but at least i can have a chance to revisit this video again.
A piece of NFS history where video annotations still existed. I remember watching this when I was rather young. Crazy how long it has been since then. Thank you for the reupload.
i really cant believe that the vídeo has been gone private, it is one of the best videos ever about my favourite game. wish i could see more quality content about classic nfs development
Thank you for the reupload! I wish we knew why he had to privatize the original video. I've never played with this game when I was a child, sadly, however, I wish I did - it's iconic. If it wasn't for this game, we'd have never had Underground 2 or Most Wanted, so respect. 🙏🔥
i'm pretty sure the cops weren't added because Honda (and also maybe Nissan) wouldn't have given the license Mini most likely was cut because BMW didn't allow EA to modify the performance of their cars from HP2 to Carbon that's why there's no NFS editions of the M5 & the Z8 in HP2
It sucks Underground was to originally be open world cause in one of the race tracks, you can see a mod shop close to some trucks which I guess you can obviously mod your car
I didn't think I'd be seeing this video again after it went private. I still at times forget that I even narrated for this all those years ago. (Yes, I'm the former HGCentral.) I suspect that not all of the info may have been correct, which may have been its reason for going private, but I can't speak on GTAero's behalf.
Hey, I remember watching a video also narrated by you on GTAero's channel back then about the development of NFS Undercover, but it seems that video has been made private too. I remember watching that video too years ago, along with this and the Underground 2 removed content video. It's pretty nostalgic to me.
on my ps2 platinum nfs ug1 i still have ambulance and bus roaming around the streets, also in the intro movie, when you boot the game, there is no no mark with his 350z telling me to be responsable
Imo the first movie. NFSU = The Fast and The Furious NFSU2 = 2 Fast 2 Furious NFSC = Tokyo Drift NFS Payback = Fast and Furious NFS MW = Fast 5 NFS 2015 = Fast and Furious 6 NFS Heat = Fast and Furious 7 NFS HP 2010= Fast 8 NFS MW 2012 = Fast 9 NFS Unbound = Fast X Last 3 were not good
The movie was released in 6th of June 2003 as opposed to the game which was released in the period 17-28 November 2003. The game is actually inspired by the movie in the intro where you see the famous bridge jump scene. That scene in the game intro is a direct reference to the movie. I actually saw a clip here in TH-cam where the developers of the game said that the first two Fast and Furious movies are what shifted Need for Speed next installment towards the tuner/jdm/night car scene.
@@IliyanIliev89 That's cus EA and Universal were in a collab back then, and Eddie's Skyline is a real life car that got 3d scanned and later added the mantis widebody and the other vinyls, and that's why you hear engine sounds from the 1st and 2nd movie in U1 and U2 like Brian's Skyline and the his Evo7
@@realspeedghxst i already know that - search for a guy named Craig Lieberman here on youtube. He was the technical advisor for the first two movies, and he owned the original Supra from TFATF and the famous GT-R from 2F2F.
Hola Mira últimamente he visto que haces videos de contenidos eliminados en los need for speed Me gustaría que hicieras un vídeo de los contenidos eliminados en el videojuego tony hawk's underground Esperaré tu respuesta Saludos desde Colombia.
Yes, it is possible. You need to get the iso file (from somewhere like the Internet archive) and burn it onto a dvd. If your PS2 has a modchip, it will be able to play the game. Alternatively, you could just download the iso and play on an emulator on PC (pcsx2), but it takes away some of the fun of it in my personal opinion.

Might have to do with copyright strikes? Some companies are very aggressive with their strikes even if it falls under fair use.
@@dalazo no, the OG creator himself said something on the lines of "it's an outdated info, move on, guys"

I know this is old but I actually remember watching the original video. We need more people like you.

*RYDER: A lot of stuff is missing on the demo.*
That GTA 3 documentary looks interesting

Also on the Drag and Drift tutorial video the skyline and the civic has a different sound than on the game

Im 100% sure 1st vainly is available in the game! 2nd and 3rd are from Time attacks special rewards I guess
It is in the game, but it doesn't have the "KING" writing like it does in that screenshot

This game has a lot of detail for a PS2 Game that came out when I was only a year old
Need for speed underground is similar to the movie 2fast 2furious because they were both released in 2003.
Imo the first movie.
NFSU = The Fast and The Furious
NFSU2 = 2 Fast 2 Furious
NFSC = Tokyo Drift

NFS HP 2010= Fast 8

Question is whether the bridge scene in both occasions is influenced by the game or the movie... It's as if they had the same thought at the same time

is there a reason you shot the at 240p?
Anyone know why he privated these videos ?
So cool! Is it possible to burn this different NFSU versions into dvds and boot them on a moded ps2?
just get a PC. It's not possible to do what you asked.

Yes. You can also boot it up from a pendrive with a softmodded memory card. Works perfectly.
