14:37 I can vouch that Swellow is still an absolute monster in PokeMMO. I'm not even exaggerating here. Last month, I beat Hoenn using a team of three actual Pokemon and three sacrifices to get free switches. One of those actual Pokemon was Swellow, and it made the other two (swampert and manectric) look like absolute benchwarmers. Buy a Flame Orb off the GTL, teach it Facade from Norman, and then you literally oneshot everything that isn't a ghost type (and ghost types are pretty frail, so 99% of the time they're dead to brave bird or aerial ace) Like, seriously. It's that good. I got one with only 8 attack IVs (but an adamant nature) and it STILL swept almost the whole game, including the whole elite four excluding Phoebe (the ghost gym), and even that team took a ridiculous amount of damage from Brave Bird. Just bring a Pokemon that can handle Rock types which Swellow can't kill in one hit (I personally used swampert, but pretty much any non-terrible ground or steel type works). If you can't buy a Flame Orb right away due to only unlocking the GTL after four gyms, it's not even that bad. The first four gyms aren't very difficult anyway, and it's still a respectable 7/10 in performance compared to the 10/10 monster that it becomes when you can reliably activate guts. Finally, if you don't feel like baiting ghost / ground / bug / grass moves for it to safely switch in and activate flame orb on (playing well, yuck!) then you can just buy a Protect TM when you reach the Lilycove Department Store.
@@ok6529 you just need to get facade ASAP, it’s the move you spam by far the most. Other move slots can just have whatever you strongest physical flying move is (probably brave bird), and honestly the rest doesn’t even matter. Your STABs are that good. Facade / Brave Bird / Quick Attack / Protect is a moveset I used to great success. You can swap out Protect or Quick Attack for Aerial Ace if you’d like, but it barely even matters.
I would highly recommend catching or buying a tropius if you can't catch one yet. Hell, it could even be at a higher level then level cap, but all you need are HM moves such as Cut, Fly, Rock Smash, Flash, Defog, and Strength and you can put Sweet Scent on it as one of the moves since tropius has it in their moveset. Very useful for EV training, especially when you need to quickly get to other regions quick. I happen to have two, one with Cut, Fly, Sweet Scent and Rock Smash and the other with Flash, Defog, also Sweet Scent, and Strength.
