My mother was from Okinawa, we visited in 75, 93 and in March, 23 along with mainland Japan with my family. This was supposed to be a family trip of a lifetime, but we enjoyed the food, and laidback vibe so much that we plan to visit again on Nov. 2024. Thank you for the Okinawa videos!

ジーマーミー豆腐の揚げたの食べてみたいです🤤私はソーキ蕎麦の麺で焼そばするのが大好きです😊コンビニってほんと、ご当地しか無いものがあるから楽しいですよねー✨✨しかし、度数の強い泡盛をあんなにイケるなんてこれを参考に行ってチャレンジする方々は皆んな驚くと思いますよ笑🤭お母様との関係も姉妹の様で素敵ですね！沖縄に行った様な気分になれてほんと、楽しかったです🫶

I have actually made にんじんしりしり before. It was really good, but I don't know how well it would stand up to the authentic Okinawan made dish.

it would be really nice to have some sake before I go to work tomorrow. as a gaijin im not to sure about having it warm. Okinawa is a lot warmer than Tokyo! When at the end of October it was a bit chilly at night so I needed a jacket, but during the day it was hot (T-shirt or no-sleeve).
