My point exactly, such an abusive relationship with Freddie on the short end. And they forced his character to reciprocate her feelings out of nowhere that time 🤦🏽♀️
You can tell Freddie's voice was gradually getting deep in the fencing episode onwards until the first episode of the second season when his voice changed completely

Some of Sam insults were really hurtful. They reminded me of a toxic friend from high school who just didn't seem to grasp the idea that I got emotionally scarred from what he used to say to me. I was so pissed that I reversed the negative behavior onto him to make him realize that being hurtful was not going to accomplish anything. I thankfully never saw him again after that, but it's hard to say if he ever got the message.
It's completley fair to give Sam shit for how badly she treats Freddie but let's not forget Carly is complicit in all of this and almost never tries to defend him.

What I was trying to say is that if the show was made without breaks for laugh tracks, it would have more comedic timing and be more appreciated by the people. Every single show with laugh tracks gets weird without them, because usually you don't pause your sentence for an audience to laugh in real life.
