Headlights are cheaper plastic to be replaced often. Also headlights plastic forced more into oncoming winds along w/ road dirt permanently scratches/damaging the plastic.

That would be because the front of the car where the headlights are is all clear so it’s a different type of plastic than in the back where they have the colored plastic in the back and even if they’re using a similar type of plastic, the actual coloring will affect the overall structure of the plastic housing. You don’t have a choice in the end. The sun will do damage to the actual plastic and it’ll need to be replaced. The damage depends on how much light is on the plastic.
Probably because while driving, more water is going to get on the front of the car and then leave minerals and dirt behind.
