Can any thermometer be connected to two phones OR can I log in to the same app account watching the same thermometer from two devices? (e.g.: in case two people want to watch the same thermometer?)
I am not sure if any thermometer can be connected to 2 phones via Bluetooth, I have not tried this. I do know you would be able to monitor a cook on multiple devices using the MEATER and their meater link feature. You can also do the same thing with The MeatStick. You can get a link for your cook and anyone with the link will be able to view the cook
@@SmokestackJoes thank you, that is really useful info about the link sharing - correct me if I am wrong - anyone with the link needs to be physically close to the thermometer? If so, then I think the trick is to have one phone next to thermometer as a 'info receiver and transmitter' and login with the same account with another phone(s) to have unlimited distance monitoring. Would you agree?
@@6242-j1z yes I believe that is right. The phone or device that is connected via Bluetooth needs to be near the thermometer and also be connected to WiFi then it can act as the transmitter, this device would be the one to generate the link and share it. Once someone has the link the can view the cook anywhere they have access to internet
@@SmokestackJoes do you have a video on this? Meater vs thermospike vs any other thermometer -- via link share vs many people app login to same account
@@SmokestackJoes scenario: no wifi, 2 phones 1 phone next to the cooking area serving as - a mobile internet hotspot for the thermometer & - a ‘temperature info receiver and transmitter' question1: Can the 2nd phone monitor cooking from another far location using the same mobile application account login (not shared link)? question2: Can the 1st phone be the internet provider and the one that is connected to the thermometer via bluetooth?
Thanks for the info. I haven't seen this method before.
Im glad you enjoyed it
Enjoy your new home and look forward to your new vids

That is a Lexington sauce. No tomato in eastern.
Mmmmmm... That looks so damn good.
It’s delicious, might be my favorite BBQ item to cook
I will be looking forward to seeing some moonshine incorporated into your recipes.
That may have to happen lol
I'm surprised you didn't use Grill Armor insulated rubber gloves to shred this up. This is exactly what I use those for!
I don’t have a pair of there insulated rubber gloves, I only have there welding gloves

I am going to look into that now that you've mentioned it, thanks for the comment
If you're in Eastern NC, it's a sin to call this "pulled pork." It's just bbq.
You are correct lol I am still learning the ways here
Nice recipe but, not Eastern
