Here’s my tip that works pretty much every time. I like it better than all the other ones. Works best if you have the air hammer socket adapter so you can use a socket on the bolt but I just use the punch adapter on my air hammer. I just back the bolts off about 1/4 inch and walk it out with the air hammer impacting on the bolt heads. Don’t undue the bolts too much when starting because if the bearing is tight it can ruin the threads. So start with 1/4 or less.
Great video! With Dodge upper ball joint. They make one’s with different offset’s to set camber. Does that apply to this brand or are they adjustable? As for the spring indexing, the bottom seat we’re the spring seat used to have a ramp we’re the coil rested so all you did was rotate the spring until the end cut of the spring hit the stop. At least that is the way with my 02 & 03 are. Great info John!
Thanks Rob! I don’t know if Carli makes offset ones or not. These are supposed to be heavy duty. They are all steel and should last the life of the truck if greased regularly. Pretty sweet.

Oh dang that’s a great idea. I hadn’t heard of that trick yet. I’m going to try it next time I’m pulling a unit bearing!
Thanks man, this video got me looking and found the video on their website, talk about info. It would be great to do this one time only.
Yeah for sure! Glad you found the info you needed!
Great info, thanks for the video!
You bet!
