You've been created a masterpiece about human essence and spiritualism over Star Wars teachings, I hope that every viewer that you got watch this video and learn about topics what we really are and the energy flows in us. Thanks for this great documentary Dudu, May the Force Be With You
Thank you so much for your time and energy put into this. The presentation and editing is stellar. I knew Lucas had multiple influences, but this was one I was unaware of. So much to consider.
I love this truly, the evolution of how content is made on Star Wars, so many are all about "Did you know the heroes journey?" and talks endlessly on the jesus ideas of Ani, and the OG films ignoring all parts of SW that is not the text of those three films as only films. This is pure love for SW, all of it, and the universe it is loving the universe and the writing, not hating on how it is not the perfect ideas of the OG films. I had to watch this and give this to a few die hard EU fans and they all agree this is a great resource in understanding Star Wars.
I'm still half-through this video, but I can already say that this is one of the best essays about Star Wars ever. And even more it is a new look, not something reahersed over and over by different people, but another look. Thank you for your effort, and thank you nice people who read this well-written text for us. May the Force be with you.
Wow. Just wow. 😢 I always loved SW and since I watched your videos, I loved them... Then I got divorced from the one I loved. Beyond everything, it was a call for me. I joined a wonderful program to reboot my broken system. Old self did not let it finish, but what few I did, I could see how deep and meaningful everything and everyone is and specifically what a masterpiece SW is. And this video resonated so much. All of us can be heros, yet ego stops us. Worrying, never being in the moment, the bliss of life... I know I gotta get back in my journey and kill my Death Star, old me. Thank you for this masterpiece. I enjoyed every piece of it. 🎉
There is truly the force behind this. Thank you for all the hard work and feel with your heart that this work will bring a lot of clarity and change to those on the path. Thank you
Obviously the work you have created is a labor of love. Thank you! I am in a place in my life where I needed the abc's fundamentals of the message to me from "The Force". Here it is presented in a such a way most people can understand.🧡You are appreciated.
What a genuinely fantastic video. The amount of work that was put into this is insane. Years of reading, writing, directing, editing - and most of all _ruminating_ and _philosophizing_ , to show us this two-hour long fruit, cannot be thanked enough. This gave me a completely new perspective of the meaning of the Force and what George Lucas (and I'm assuming other writers and producers) intended to show with Star Wars. _Follow your instinct, follow the Heart. Don't listen to the Mind and the preconceived notions of what should be done_ .You illustrated this perfectly with Lucas's example of gardener vs lawyer, and Anakin's inital bewilderment of Ahsoka's decision to leave *the Order* .
My goodness I can't believe this doesn't have more views, this video is absolutely perfect and the last chaper got me in the feels. Thank you for making this video!
Just bought the first three of Castaneda’s books thank you for the wonderful video and the inadvertent book recommendation. Also Gaxelle killed it with the narration I knew I recognized that voice lol
My pleasure, happy to hear it, those books are a trip , never read anything like it, in my opinion, those books are absolutely real and depict real events that happened to Castaneda, but that's just my take on it. Enjoy!
Now this is really cool, well done. I feel there's a lot of secular/psychological discussion on Star Wars, someone covering the clear spirituality is great.
Only half way through, but I just have to say this is one of the best Star Wars analysis I've seen. Really opens my eyes and makes me see the whole saga in an entirely different way which I thought not possible. Bravo!
Years well spent in making this brother, in all my years of research this is the best type of Divine knowledge I've ever been given, truly thank you for aiding me in a Dark night!
I know creating this must have taken forever. Saw your super chat on Star Wars theory live stream. Fantastic job. Editing, music cues, the captions. It was all great. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Fascinating video. The amount of effort put in is incredible and eye-opening for anyone who considers themselves even remotely spiritual. I find myself at a loss for words despite the fact that I have all the time in the world to write this comment. Thank you for making this, truly.
Wow Dudu, you've put a ton of time and love into this project and it shows! You've got me going and looking into more meditation and spirituality now, well done!
I would consider myself a rather spiritual person and I always felt that George Lucas put an immense effort into the research of topics likes mythology, mysticism and spirtuality. This is what gives Star Wars extreme depth and I love it. That you pick up this topic is really great. Thank you DuduFilm!
He actually got together a group of anthroposophists through his wife at the time and got them to go through some of his initial drafts of 4-5-6 and tighten them down a bit. Douglas Gabriel talks about it, as he was involved, I believe.
Waou ! What a incredible work you've done there. I had read the books before but didn't make the parallel between the two, it's a new way of seeing the saga for me. Truly a impressive video and a tremendous work behind it.Thank you a lot 🙏
6:08 Seers are like Neo when viewing energy in others, human beings are luminous, the whole universe is energy. 8:24 A warrior is one who fights his own self importance, his arrogance, his ego. 9:13 War for a warrior is the battle against the ego mind. 40:20 "Being mindful of the living force means to be here and now this means to be living in the present moment, concentrate on the moment FEEL DON'T THINK" 1:49:22 Concentrate on the moment without thought and emotion, Emptiness is when you become one with The Force/Consciouness.
Very nice work!! Anyone familiar with Rudolph Steiner’s work, Anthroposophy, will see quickly that Lucas was heavily influenced by it. His wife at the time he wrote the initial stories was a deeply dedicated anthropsophist.
Perfect timing for your return, Master Dudu! I loved your longer form vids with your Revan and Vitiate/Valkorion breakdowns. It's 8 AM on a Saturday here, perfect timing and I'm so excited for this, this is your longest video yet! Always happy to see you and wish you the best, Dudu ❤🔥

Absolutely brilliant work! I love all the analytical video essays regarding Star Wars and yours is phenomenal as well. You opened my eyes to so many new things I hadn't even given attention to before or couldn't interpret by myself. I'm very thankful for you amazing job. Id like to ask a question, though. You said that the Force creates a Sith to balance itself if the Jedi have lost their way and it disposes of him once he's done his job. In the case of the timeline of 1-6, that Sith is Sidious. So, from this perspective, wouldn't Sidious be the Chosen One?
I always regret that there are no TH-cam subtitles in these types of films. It is much better to watch such documentaries when English is not your main language...
fellow you tubers, isn’t it neat to see two things we love brought together and explored ? A rare and neat treat indeed !!! Out of a generally good essay, here’s a couple points of reflections and constructively critical offerings that I think can really improve the essay should it be revised in the future. Tell me what you guys think..... Star Wars fans will notice At 47: 10 she implies that Lucas uses qui-gon as a mouth piece to say “ age restriction, following code and aspirations to a seat on the council are non-sense” are we sure about that ? Think about it carefully & we will remember that it was the councils disregard of the rules and eventual acceptance of Anakin into the order that inevitably caused there downfall. Was it not ? *It was Anakin’s cowardly ambush of Windu that lead to Sidious escaping. *It was Anakin who slaughtered innocent Jedi younglings *it was Anakin who strangled his pregnant wife. *it was Anakin who lead order 66 on the jedi temple *it was Anakin who butchered tusken women & children *it was Anakin who Decapitated an unarmed dooku Seriously, does any of that strike you guys as justifying why the Council should have stuck to the code ? Doesn’t anakins actions lend credence to the reluctance yoda had about accepting Anakin into the order ? Qui Gon himself can be heard screaming “ ANAKIN NO !!!! “ in Ep. 2 during anakins tusksen blood bath. So even qui gon himself recognized he completely misunderstood the prophecy, fooled himself into thinking Anakin was the chosen one and unwittingly brought down his own order... 🙃😔🤯 ouch. The narrator celebrates qui gon for following the “will of the force”. But the force sure wasn’t celebrating qui gon when it “ willed “ Darth Maul‘s lightsaber to stab qui gons stomach. So do we say qui gon “misread “ the force or contradicted the will of the force to explain his failure in these regards ? Or is it simply that he was in unwitting pawn for the Darkside of the force ? It certainly seems that he thought he was living out of the will of the light side but as soon as he brought Anakin into the fold he was killed. Seems like he was under the influence of the dark side but was too arrogant and conceded to consider or recognize that fact . I would think that the historical implications of the Genocide of the jedi would be obvious to the narrator seeing as how Castaneda & anthropologists have discoursed at length about the near genocide of the Yaqui Indians, first by the Spaniards then the Mexicans over a 400 year period. In a nutshell, the Jedi were no more responsible for there downfall than the Yaqui ( or aztec/maya ) were for there’s. They had a lot of “ help” from European conquistadors, who would have invaded them regardless if there were corrupt sorcerers or not, The same way Darth Sidious would have conspired to bring the Jedi down with the Clones, regardless if the jedi had what the narrator considers to be “ non sensical” strict rules about age requirements or not. the explanation is multifaceted. Sure, there’s corrupt sorcerers , like there’s corrupt Jedi (dooku, Anakin ) But there’s also sidious & an army of cones. And I’ve never heard Lucas endorse The view that qui gon represents his perspective, if anything a good writer will hide his own biases and spread some of his views throughout various characters along with conflicting opinions to make the narrative interesting. Besides that, I loved the video essay and will be sharing it will friends , thanks guys May the force be with you all 😃
Interesting. Ive been aware for years that the Force and the Jedi were based on Buddhist/Taoist philosophy, but this author is a source I was unaware of. This whole essay reminds me of how I've come to appreciate Yoda's "Do or do not" quote as I've gotten older.
Early 1980's in grade school, at the ages of seven and nine years old my dad read Tales of Power and Star Wars to me. Mix in a bit of Sicilian Catholic, Bramha/Hindu Buddhism, along with Chinese Shaolin and Japanese with a good blend of mix martial arts. That laid down the foundation of my life from the age of ten years old. Then from about ten years old to 12 living in Florida I learn fear, abuse, and hate from the US Southern Baptist Church. Yeah life has been .. fun. Thank you for all the great videos.
Something that I’ve been thinking about for a while is how the Jedi and Sith perceive the force. A true Jedi will surrender himself to the will of the force by emptying himself and instinctively following the light side. It so happens that the Sith try to bend the force to their will in the opposite manner making it so the force itself is against them. I wonder if you could ever have a dark-sided user who is not so much intent on bending the force to his will for his own aims but for the dark side itself ? Making in a sense a true dark side user which is analogous to a true light side user. I always thought it was an interesting idea… and if there is an antichrist maybe he is like a Sith out for his own aims… or maybe he considers himself like like the Jedi do, but instead being a true conduit for the dark side itself enacting the will of the the dark side’s vengeance in order to bring the force into balance.
Interesting point, though majority of dark side users are on the dark side in a first place cause they are self centered and ego driven, so the mere idea serving someone or something else is far fetched. But there might be a story worth telling about some dark side worshipper fanatic who serves the dark side, even though knowing that if he does so and brings balance he will be no longer needed and die as a result. Quite a conflicting character that one could be.
@@DuduFilm indeed that would be far-fetched I admit. Serving a cause one considers greater than yourself on its own is not I don’t think even for a dark sider even though rare too far-fetched. But now that I think about it what I think is more likely is a dark side user who serves the will of the dark side as it were but has maybe a skewed understanding of how the force brings things into balance. Maybe he believes balance means the superiority of the dark as a whole.
Love the spiritual message of this video showing how the prequel Jedi failed and gives ideas on what the Jedi meant to be through Qui gon jinn something Luke meant to bring back they meant to be wandering knights/nomads traveling the galaxy living in the moments helping others not for some government but following the will of the force.
_Twice we have set the Star Wars fandom ablaze!_ _Twice we have denounced the lies and hypocrisies of Disney and their movies, twice we have failed_ _We must not fail again! For there is precious little tender left....to keep our fire burning_
Something I just realized: Yoda didn't answer the call to adventure the first time because he had sensed Anakin's resolving the split in his spirit(over his mother) by repressing his emotion after Obi-Wan appealed to Anakin's sense by invoking Padme's devotion to duty. This is actually why he assigned Ahsoka to Anakin. He did sense Anakin's anguish over the death of his mother. He also sensed how Anakin dealt with it - by keeping to himself. By not letting go. And so Yoda assigns Ahsoka to Anakin in order to get him to learn *how* to let go, by having him teach an Apprentice who is *just like him*. Even more important that it's a youngling - which he technically was when he entered the Order. Where Yoda fails in the call to adventure, is in not counseling Anakin directly. He kind of went around Anakin when he would have best gone through. Yoda sees everything as a teachable moment, which it is, and that everyone should grow through their own challenges, which they must, but a little emotional closeness wouldn't have hurt. At the same time, I understand why direct counsel wouldn't have gone anywhere: for what Anakin was repressing was the guilt over his slaughter of the Tusken Raiders, which he mentions to the Son disguised as his mother, which the Father asks him to overcome, which the spirit of Qui-Gon is confident he'll face, only for him to ultimately confide in Palpatine, who then validates it by having him "justifiably" kill Dooku. Yoda's failure is as much Anakin's fault as it is his own, but the responsibility of how he approached the situation rested on him, and he took the only route he knew. And it nearly worked. But Anakin always required a more personal touch. EDIT: The coolest thing about this though, is that Luke, in sparing his father the same fate he dealt to the Tusken Raiders and Dooku by killing in cold blood, breaks the cycle of guilt. And in proclaiming himself a Jedi, proves to Anakin that being a Jedi is always enough to overcome the grip of emotion - specifically self-hatred. Because when Luke states that he is a Jedi like his father before him, he was speaking to the Jedi Anakin failed to be - the Jedi he *still could* be. And so became.
Hey just curious, will you consider a video on Maul? Fascinating character, and I feel a lot of what KOTOR and SWTOR content can be used for his character journey
Amazing job and incredible video. Do you believe that at some point you could include the subtitles in Spanish? I understand some of the English but there are many that are loose. I hope so, respect man. Cheers
Thanks Jero! I personally can not , since I don't speak Spanish. if someone will translate and send me a proper files to upload subtitles , then sure, though I really doubt that will happen.

And I’ve never heard Lucas endorse The view that qui gon represents his perspective, if anything a good writer will hide his own biases and spread some of his views throughout various characters along with conflicting opinions to make the narrative interesting.
Besides that, I loved the video essay and will be sharing it will friends , thanks guys
May the force be with you all 😃
Can't wait for you take make a video of Luthen's Speech.
Interesting. Ive been aware for years that the Force and the Jedi were based on Buddhist/Taoist philosophy, but this author is a source I was unaware of. This whole essay reminds me of how I've come to appreciate Yoda's "Do or do not" quote as I've gotten older.
My favorite part is the heart vs the mind. Good lesson to pay attention to!
This is soo dope!! Love ur channel btw❤
Dear Dudu I hope you will make another videos again in the near future
Well I didn’t have anything else I wanted to do today
Gonna have to watch another Dudufilm masterpiece
Right after I’ve grabbed my popcorn
Just heard about this from your comment on theory can’t wait to watch
Glad someone noticed, enjoy mate
Early 1980's in grade school, at the ages of seven and nine years old my dad read Tales of Power and Star Wars to me. Mix in a bit of Sicilian Catholic, Bramha/Hindu Buddhism, along with Chinese Shaolin and Japanese with a good blend of mix martial arts. That laid down the foundation of my life from the age of ten years old. Then from about ten years old to 12 living in Florida I learn fear, abuse, and hate from the US Southern Baptist Church.
Yeah life has been .. fun.
Thank you for all the great videos.
Sorry to hear that mate. Hopefully this video will be of some use to you. There is a lot in here from Tales of Power. Thank you for watching.
The mind needs to be renewed and the heart can be messy for wicked people have dark hearts while good people have good hearts
Jep, this is what I'll be watching when I get home.
This is a wonderful surprise!
I don't think I've seen a single piece of media describe Star Wars, in what it really is, better.
_Twice we have set the Star Wars fandom ablaze!_
_Twice we have denounced the lies and hypocrisies of Disney and their movies, twice we have failed_
_We must not fail again! For there is precious little tender left....to keep our fire burning_
Can you do your next video about count dooku❤😊
2 Hours of Pure *BLISS*
2 hours?! *Yes please*
Amazing, thank you for this video would have taken alot of research and time.
We can't get enough Dudu!!
Something I just realized:
Yoda didn't answer the call to adventure the first time because he had sensed Anakin's resolving the split in his spirit(over his mother) by repressing his emotion after Obi-Wan appealed to Anakin's sense by invoking Padme's devotion to duty.
A long one I see, I'll have to save this for later when for when I can watch it
Holy moly
Now that's a surprise.
Hey just curious, will you consider a video on Maul? Fascinating character, and I feel a lot of what KOTOR and SWTOR content can be used for his character journey
I'm not making anything new until youtube algorithm is fixed, sorry.
excellent work
I appreciate you and always thought from your videos that you understood the philosophy. Look into Manly P Hall. :)
Fantastic video essay...
Thank you mate!
@@DuduFilm A pleasure ❤
Fantastic💜👊
i hope you're enjoying Andor mate
I'm absolutely loving it, especially the imperial ISB side, can't get enough of it
@@DuduFilm yes great subplot! hope to see you doing videos about it
Amazing job and incredible video.
You should do a Darth Bane tribute next
We are finally here.....
Brilliant!
It's weird that Malgus video was the last one that got many views. Why TH-cam doesn't promote last two videos?
53:36 Force in balance make me thing that kreia was right in some way, I will watch the video kreia through the eyes of the exile and think and return
Also love how most of the time you mention the rot of the Jedi Order a certain bean head is front and center.
Oh cool ! I've been following you for years and I'm glad to see this kind of project on your channel
George Lukas said in an interview that Jedis are based on zen monks and samurais, not in Catanedas books.
That’s surface level knowledge.
Insane.. As alvays its a fantastic work.
