I just got mine yesterday silver aluminum. I must say, it is so nice, fits well in my hands and so smooth. Going from a thumb trigger to this hinge release, I had to get over the click anticipation but once I got pass that (micro adjust the click and fire) SURPRISE! Absolutely love it.
I had a lot of inconsistencies when I first got my OG Hinge and read where someone said they click when they anchor and then go through their shot process. I adjusted mine to where I can consistently come to click once I'm anchored and then get on target and finish the shot. I guess it's similar to no click, but I know that I'm on that edge eveytime I start my process. It made a huge difference in my groups and consistency of groups. Love the videos man!
Well dam, I wish I would have seen this video before I traded away my Hinge 1.0. I thought I had to rotate my hand to get it to fire. I have a silverback now and I'm figuring out the back tension and how to get it to fire. Which has made my arrows touch each other. I got the Nock2It as well. May have to try the Hinge 2.0.
Love both my silverback and nock2it. The fit in my hand and the 2 finger plus 3rd resting post on the nock2it is just such a great fit and anchor for 200 price point when i bought it 4 yrs ago. I sold my hinge 1st gen because the weight was just so light from what i was used to but i would like to try a stainless 2nd gen and maybe give it another try. Dont really need it tho i already have 3 handhelds that work great for me lol stick with that silverback and nock2it, tune them well and with proper anchor and shot execution it will be amazing what it can do for ya…i didnt even I know i had target panic til i started using a good handheld lol wish i did much sooner
Good video Chris. Nice explanation of how to set it up. Makes a lot of sense to set it cold and get the click dialed in first. Only ever played with one hinge release (Carter Two moons). This one looks WAYYYY easier to adjust and much more comfortable. Very painful in the index finger to use the Carter.
I just ordered the Hinge 2. Never shot a back tension release, but I’m hoping it will help with my ongoing target panic issues. Thanks for the great content. Love your videos, sending Montana vibes. bee real 🤙🏻
Hey Chris I wanted to thank you for your hinge tutorials. Back in the day I was totally uncomfortable with the idea of the arrow releasing without my command. I eventually started to realize the importance of it all. And I’m actually quite good with my hinge release now. And I’ve actually taken a couple of deer using that release. Having the right mindset is critical, but those shots were absolutely the most lethal shots of all my deer. Either way, I owe a lot of that to you and your professionalism and my willingness to listen 👍🏼
Have been shooting hinge 2 with 4 finger hunting bracket as 3 finger for most of a year now loving it, only issues (one is definitely me), large was too spread, medium is great with slight issue for me that the thumb end hooks up and rubs index some Other "issue" - it would be easier to use a larger hex to find slots and make adjustments (if there is room within the handle to make it feasible)
Love the videos but one quick question. I have heard this two different ways. Do you relax your index finger or pull more on your middle two fingers to “hinge” the release to make it go off?
This explains a lot. I definitely want to try a tension release and the entire world says these are the ones to check out. My first questions is, would you hunt with something like this?
Just ordered a try out hinge. I’m brand new to compound and am struggling to find a release that feels comfortable. Can’t wait to see how this one feels.
Thanks Chris I just received UV3 target kit with the plastic hinge to try out I appreciate the information on the hinge I’ve been on the fence hoping to get off Thanks! If could do a video of bow case and proper packing of a bow with equipment needed for tournaments or shoots and possibly what airlines may say about what you have in your case and how you may have to handle TSA Questions
Dang, I walked into a proshop December 10th and they had every color available in both lengths. I walked out with a granite 29. They are amazing and the wait will be worth it.
i’m left handed and my pro shop didn’t have any left handed on the release so i took the opportunity to order the spec i wanted since i had to order one anyways.
How is this going to work with say a Prime Logic that has a super solid back wall? I have bounced off of it before it's so solid. So to have follow through from the click may not work.
I'm telling you guys if you wanna beat target panic then buy this hinge 2 release! I have 4 hinge releases and this by far is the most comfortable and it's all around perfect in my opinion!! Plus the neck on the release is higher than all the others ones I have so that amazing also!
Why use a click if it is all about form? Why do you need the click, I found that after the click it makes me and other rush the shot and "punch" the non existent trigger. Aka rush the shot.
As always Chris and crew…great video. My question is this, so Bruce designed the release…what’s his background? How old is he…he looks like he’s about 19!
Does anyone else’s D-Loop get cut up when using the hinge? I’ve had mine about 2 months and ever since I started shooting with it my d loops have gone bad so fast. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Nicely presented Chris.. Being a pro photographer for a long time ,,, could you show a 2 min real close up of adjusting those two Allen screws. I don’t have the foggiest idea of your presentation.. Nothing like close up and personal,, Thank you!!
Hey Chris, I’m trying to get into self filming my hunts. What is the best gear to get to start off? I would really appreciate it if you could help me!!!
My Human Hand needs way less than the 1/2inch extension this release introduces. I've lost that off my draw length. What the heck guys? Make a shirt neck version... and a trade in plan. ;)
What I want to know is why does it cost as much as a bow does at least a cheap bow if you can't afford to buy Matthews you sure are not going to be able to afford to buy that release I mean come on $200 and up for a release that's a little Rich for my taste and most of the people I know sorry just saying still love your channel though
I dropped $220 on my truefire 4 finger a year ago... Archery is an expensive hobbie... It can be done cheap, but you get what you pay for... So, I don't shop at Walmart ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So put all weight on ur grip instead of waste then have to pull back further once u click … this is dumbest design I’ll take my $50 wrist release any day over this
Awesome video. Would love a more in depth video of your whole shot process and how you get your hinge to fire
Agree

Sick vid Chris. I needed this since I just got a hinge a little while back

These are good videos Chris, like to see more of them as well as TAC!
These guys are so young and absolutely killing it! Keep at it fellas!
Just ordered an UV2 hinge! Super excited to learn to shoot with it!

Awesome video Just got my Hinge 2.0 in the UK.
It's sweeeeeet 💜🤘🏻. Cheers guys

Let's see a test between .003 and .001 arrows over 50 yards.
Are you able to teach yourself to shoot a hinge or is it better to be taught by somebody. Also any tips on learning how to shoot a hinge.
Love the videos but one quick question. I have heard this two different ways. Do you relax your index finger or pull more on your middle two fingers to “hinge” the release to make it go off?
Anchor at your click “and then you go”. Thanks great instruction there.
This explains a lot. I definitely want to try a tension release and the entire world says these are the ones to check out. My first questions is, would you hunt with something like this?

It's always a great day when Chris bee posts
Nice video chris. I just love my stan shootoff TL 3 finger.
Awesome walk through. Thanks!

hi bee what brand do you use for quiver bag?
i’m still waiting on my v3x to come in(almost4months) from mathew’s can’t wait to get my hands on it and set it up.
Me to brother! I ordered mine days before the release and I’m still waiting
I ordered mine November 21st and got it Thursday. They’re coming soon!
@@jessehanger I’m pissed I’m still waiting on mine!

Ur engineer has the perfect olympic form and perfect anchor and shot exec.
Quick question when you buy the try before you buy when you get it do you test and send it back if you don’t like it or do you just keep it
You pay the shipping to and from you and then they refund only the purchase price

Let’s go Chris!!!
I was going to go down next year to the lanacaster archery classic can you go down to watch and walk around or do you have to shot? To be able to go?
Hinge 2 or 2smooth?
Chris, what vane are you shooting? Looks like a Bohning? If so, how long is it?
Why use a click if it is all about form? Why do you need the click, I found that after the click it makes me and other rush the shot and "punch" the non existent trigger. Aka rush the shot.
Hey Does the invicta still need new strings out the box like the pro's and ultra's? :D thanks
Love your videos man 🔥
Is the hinge a good release for hunting? I've seen a few videos where the shooter said it is not? What's your opinion? Thx!
Levi Morgan along with several others use a hinge during hunts. I wouldn't take it into the stand until you're extremely comfortable with it though.
Yes this happened to me also and I switched releases. More quality control is needed
ive used steel wool before to polish the release area where it touches the D loop and have fixed the issue in the past with other releases
Are you gonna be at Boyne this year
Love the vid
Notification gang.🤙🏽🐝

“Nicely presented Chris..”……”I don’t have the foggiest idea of your presentation..”
,,,…!!,,!!…….. ?
Everybody should be thanking bruce he’s the one who designed it.
Hello, I'm Chinese. Now in China. I really want to buy some of your composite bow accessories. How can I contact you?
Hey Chris, I’m trying to get into self filming my hunts. What is the best gear to get to start off? I would really appreciate it if you could help me!!!
he literally has a video on this already. search his channel.
I want a hinge so much
Number 10
Vtac 27s?
You should make a new stabilizer and new bow grip
Good video
I’m just gonna yolo it and buy it without the try before you buy cause shipping is $150 so I’d rather only have to pay that once
My Human Hand needs way less than the 1/2inch extension this release introduces. I've lost that off my draw length. What the heck guys? Make a shirt neck version... and a trade in plan. ;)
Hello idol 💯
Dang cost is way high for poor boy

Do you not get around many releases? $200 seems to be very middle of the road for handheld releases……?
I dropped $220 on my truefire 4 finger a year ago... Archery is an expensive hobbie... It can be done cheap, but you get what you pay for... So, I don't shop at Walmart ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
click click boom!
Rushed, I feel this video is.
Im watching this on my gf youtube but anyways i see your buddy looking at that hoyt lol if ya cant beat em join em. Haha
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's also $400 by itself then you got to buy the hunting bracket I'm sure it's a great release that's too rich for my blood
It’s only $250
Shooting victory arrows now?...
Has the designer had a charisma bypass operation ?
So put all weight on ur grip instead of waste then have to pull back further once u click … this is dumbest design I’ll take my $50 wrist release any day over this
For some reason I’m SAF to use a hinge.
