So i took the plunge and spent a few hours, & gold respeccing. It turns out every build is strong, but this one is strong and tanky thanks to the fortify skills and the barrier aspect included. I was so sure i was going to regret switching away from my leveling sever minion build, but this was indeed a better build. Thank you sir. My dreams of a minion master have been realized and it didn't require any uniques and i don't even have the final wrathful heart yet.
And this is the guide I was hoping for! After patch notes release, I started thinking about summoner build with usage of those nice QoL add-ons and here it is!
Good stuff , been having fun with the one Bone Spear build you listed and having only played Druid a ton prior, it's interesting how Necro really does reward mastery of input timing/cadence when you have no minions and are bursting out.

I expect it to scale insanely well! We'll see for sure when we're able to test out the new Malignant Hearts but the one that auto casts Corpse Tendrils is going to take the build to the next level.
I've been using this build the last few days and having lots of fun 😁 I noticed you updated the paragon boards so I decided to respec then noticed that unfortunately I haven't levelled all the glyphs needed yet. Do you have the old version I think it used slightly different glyphs. Is there anywhere I can still see that version until my glyphs are levelled up? Ta very much 👍

I have a lvl 75 necro on my eternal relm and a lvl 27 on S1 and lvling my main necro felt like a second job.. But my new necro felt more fun and much better to level hopefully this same build will work on Eternal relm.

Fist of all, Thank you for sharing your build. It looks fun & I would like to try it, but being new to Necromancers it would be much easier for me to follow if you would go over abilities in order. ie what you put your 1st skill point in, then 2nd, then 3rd and so on. Did I miss or did you not talk about your skill choices from your book of the dead?
I'm.playing both right now in S1 and rouges r insanely fun and powerful as well.. But minion necro is always my main since its what I started with in Eternal realm but its only lvl 75... Both r really good tho.
I do not know about this. I started with minions followed the instructions and it just seemed slow so I pulled them and now I'm get exp and not dying as often. I'll try it on my second character

Im using iron maiden heal with tendril, bonespear and mist without minions to level hardcore and I feel more comfortable having more control over my hp and an Ohsht button. How is the survicability with this build? Should I try it in hardcore?
love minions, i've been trying to make a blood-dark-minions build with the aspects there are but i guess i was too greedy... so minions-dark dmg is the optimal way rn... i'm also tryng the unique two handed schyte for make the dark dmg into ice dmg but i don't see it working idk if it's bugged or i misunderstand how chill works, but i put the corpose explosion dark version + blight and for now works well... also the decrepify malignant heart also has an upgraded version wich requires only 2 mobs near u to be triggered.
What is the best way to deal with having a death...seems you have no way to rez minions again. I would love a build like that uses corpse explosion with all the minions. Seems sac heart really isn't that useful without it, seems the decrepify on the heart is only used every 6 seconds its kind of random.
Nevermind I figured it out thanks 👍 I really enjoy the build ! After playing barbarian when I first started this feels a lot better I beat the capstone dungeon at level 39
ye 240% dmg bonus is huge, but what about the uptime on this blighted aspect? it works for 6 seconds, after shadowblight passive deal dmg 10 times, which is happening only after your deal shadow dmg 10 times, too many conditions for proccing the aspect. And second question - do our shadow mages proc shadowblight dmg?
Shadow Mages do proc Shadow Blight. Early game our uptime on Blighted will be like 20%, but its going to help a lot on bosses. Once you can turn Bone Storm into a Shadow Skill the uptime becomes like 90%.
Deaths reach and deaths embrace, minion gets 30% of that. Minions surviveability got a big hit because the nerfed armor and dr etc wich they benefit from aswell. So they way squishier now more or less forcing you to get 20%dr with minions aspect. The great feast increase the minion dmg by 4-10k with priest buff and with every glyph at lv 21. So my mages hit for around 8-10k with priest buff and glyph. So its an option for sure untill you find mendeln. but after you get that ring you should realy swap to another gem that is better for mendeln. Decrep gem is kinda sucky cause if you only face 4 enemies or an boss you dont get the cdr you want for your skills. So overall the minion dmg is going from realy realy bad, to realy bad. been testing minions out since day1 and sadly the buffs to them is so low there still no point in using em for dmg. Blighted aspect is a lv 35 dungeon and at 18 you unlock cold mages. So using cold mages with essence and bonespear is a better option to go.
Everything in the game got a survivability nerf equally, but minions also got a healing buff. Net change is minions are now tankier, relative to everyone elses power level. The 20% DR for minions aspect is not very good. I wouldn't bother running it. Great Feast is going to be a 100% damage buff at max level it looks like.... insane. Auto casted Corpse Tendrils is literally broken with Mendeln
@@Goblin-Inc well after having played only summoner pre season post patch u felt how squishy the minions got. Simply giving them 5% more heal doesnt make them tankier. So u mendeln can crit for 10m and does not work with minion dmg. And the minions dmg is so low so why waste a gem slot that makes mages dmg go from 10-20k And warrior 4-8k. Anything is better then that low bonus dmg to minions. A reason why all mendeln builds just focus on dr+life And dont bother with dmg with minions

It becomes a must at his ramping minion build. Basically this is the beginner version for level 1-50 after this you upgrade this build to ramping minions which requires mendeln. I still haven't found one but having the Barber Heart increases your dps by alot.

In footage when your 100 your only killing like levels 101-105’s? It seeems to take forever. My level 73 rogue kills level 100-105 faster so that makes me not want to play this build as it seems soo ehhh even with perfect gear
I should have shown my gear, I'm just wearing scraps to show the build. Its also going to scale absurdly hard with the seasonal Hearts. I fully expect this build to be top tier in Season 1.
What build do you think is better? I think the mana issues that builds like Bone Spear have early game (1-50) cause minions to end up out performing Bone Spear. From 50-100 I think this build is going be insanely broken with Hearts. We'll see for sure though
I mean in terms of actually killing stuff early, reap, blight ce and anything with early damage feels a lot better. Idk if you actually used the leveling path you have in the build guide but the early damage is quite low due to no core skill to help. Not hating btw just going off what I'm seeing ingame.
Even tho this is a new build, u need to show the book of the dead set up and EVERY SOCKET! Of glyph u use and show what u put on ur paragon board. Other than that dislike for not giving enough info or help

@@Goblin-Inc Just wanna say i did capstone to access T4 at lvl 55 with this build. T4 enemies in the open world and helltide doesn't hurt me at all thanks to the bonestorm aspect and fortify. This build is really great i can't wait to reach it's max potential. Just a question tho what happened to the Feast Heart u did not recommend it in Ramping minions. Have you tried it yet ?

The heart that auto casts equipped corpse skills is love. Necro is crushing this season.

The end game build is very different than this build! This is a leveling build for levels 1-60, the end game build requires Ring of Mendeln!

I've started as bone necro but before lvl 20 I've switch to summoner and is much better now.

Yup! We turn it into shadow damage using the Aspect of Ultimate Shadow.

I think not. It doesn't currently do this with Gems you put in the Amulet and the Malignants are so strong if this happened it would be insane.

You can already take reap off your bar at endgame. You won’t need a generator for essence or corpses, then you can also remove decrep with the heart.
What are you referring to as "trap"?
But its only 5 or more mobs, the difficult part is when you are left with 1 or 2 fire elites...
Hard to pass up decrep with cd reduction with only the heart. Need to put points into abhorrent regardless
lvl 18 and boss take couple minute to be down.... Bone spear minions look better for aoe and boss/elite kill
Little update, im lvl 32 and build scale really well, now i kill boss much faster than bone spear.

I mean in terms of actually killing stuff early, reap, blight ce and anything with early damage feels a lot better. Idk if you actually used the leveling path you have in the build guide but the early damage is quite low due to no core skill to help. Not hating btw just going off what I'm seeing ingame.

There are enough ways to make minions work.

That doesn’t help for leveling. Which points goes where WHILE leveling up to stay efficient from 1-75

Even tho this is a new build, u need to show the book of the dead set up and EVERY SOCKET! Of glyph u use and show what u put on ur paragon board. Other than that dislike for not giving enough info or help

@@Goblin-Inc Just wanna say i did capstone to access T4 at lvl 55 with this build. T4 enemies in the open world and helltide doesn't hurt me at all thanks to the bonestorm aspect and fortify.
This build is really great i can't wait to reach it's max potential.
Just a question tho what happened to the Feast Heart u did not recommend it in Ramping minions. Have you tried it yet ?
