It's only in your opinion, as beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. What may seem like a beautiful paradise to you may be a death trap to other alien species.
Furthermore genetically modified or technologically improved future generations will have a different outlook on gas giants, but even currently it's possible to see the beauty of planets like Neptune, Saturn and Jupiter. Not as habitable zones, but as majestic creations of nature.

The sooner we probe Uranus the happier we'll be. We'll need a specially designed probe that can penetrate deep into Uranus without being crushed by the intense pressure. We know there's a lot of methane in Uranus but we don't know what other mysteries Uranus contains. I'm getting excited just thinking about when that probe enters Uranus.
