New information about the upcoming season 3 says that one of the episode has 20,000 hand drawn frames and the production is completed!! I really like this series even though I am the romance anime type of guy and the romance in this series isn't really to my liking~ Mob really was not ready this episode
@@Ryu.86 the average anime runs for about 24 minutes an episode. anime is always animated at 24 fps without exception. multiply 24 by 60 to get the amount of seconds, then multiply again by 24 to get frames. That gives you around 34560 frames on average. 20000 frames is actually low by comparison, however what matters is WHAT is in those 20000 frames, and i have complete faith that for mob psycho, studio bones always goes all out.
@@nrishiee5231 Anime is always filmed at 24 fps but that doesn't mean there's a drawing every frame. On average, most mainstream anime have roughly 6,000 hand drawn frames in a 20 min episode. That's why if you go through an anime frame by frame (even the most high budget ones like demon slayer) you'll find moments were nothing moves. So 20,000 frames in 20 min (not counting op and ed) is fucking insane!
@@rainboww890 yes, i touched on that in the latter half of my comment. i mentioned that what matters is what's within those frames, and i believe in the quality that studio bones has shown us.
Just to make it clear, Mob has basically unlimited power, nothing can defeat him. The question is how much power is he willing to output. Normally he hold back completely. When he gets to 100%, he just uses "a bit more power", but he's still holding back. The only time he doesn't hold back is when he's at ???%, because he literally can't. He was literally ok with getting beaten up by the guy rather than risking hurting him. He only let go because his brother was involved. Even then, he still held back.
people seem to find this confusing, so maybe i can clarify. FWIW, very little of this is spelled out explicitly. ONE does a lot of storytelling/characterization by implication (even with the parody narration. it doesn't reveal as much as you would think). studio bones basically respect his style and let viewers figure it out themselves. just one of the reasons why i love this story. teru and mob are both incredibly strong 'naturals', but they're children. notice that mob had never met another esper before teru, and then the second one he senses is an adult. teru had never met another strong _child_ esper, but claw had been sending either naturals or manufactured espers -- all _adults_ -- after him for years. hanazawa-kun is surprised because he thought he was the only child natural left uncaptured by claw. also, a moment of silence for koyama, sakurai, and all the claw mooks who were kidnapped and had their childhoods stolen from them, please?
I thought at first White T means White Tea, since there's always food refference in this universe But apparently it means White Tee, like in White T-Shirt The one Mob were wearing when he fought Teru
The story did a good job of making you think his brother is really nice but most of the things he did to make you think that is him asking Mob if anything is bothering him and if he wants to talk. This could be interpreted as a caring brother or as a person scared of their brother blowing up so they are trying to make sure his brother's emotions are okay.
mob psycho fight animation goes hard! the camera angles, the fluid movement, the ost, so great! s2 has crazier fights, cant wait to see your reaction to those
And now, Claw appears! Get ready for more intensity from here on out! Oh, and in case it wasn't brought up yet, stick around after the credits for episode 10.... you'll see something quite interesting, indeed. 😉
I was wondering if you were still going to post your FMAB Q&A video? It's been a little while, and you probably got a lot of questions, but I was curious if it was still happening or not.
It was bc he wasn't expecting it. Mob's "weakness" is not being interested in developing his powers and in learning new stuff about psychic powers through experience. From the moment he learned the spray can affect him, he figured how to protect himself from it. Spoiler: it will be proven in episode 12, when 1000% Reigen will be completely immune to the spray. So when it comes to defending his friends or family, Mob always makes sure his power is able to defend them from everything - as long as he's conscious, of course.
It's not a comparison between 2 people, definitely not between brothers. "Mob is better than you, Ritsu" is insensitive imo. It's not healthy to compare people's circumstances because everybody has different cognitive abilities and experience differently. Otherwise, you just can't empathize with a mental health patient.
this is NOTTT a good situation D:
As much of a con-man as Reigen is, he always makes sure his customers leave satisfied.
I like how in this episode you can really tell that Mob is the older brother just by how much more mature and protective he is.
Mob is so incredibly sweet, and I love him so much. Seeing his % shoot up the minute the adult esper punched Ritsu was such a powerful moment for me.
Psychic villain: _hurts Ritsu_
Mob: *OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU*

The animation in this show is beautiful.
Mob is a really underrated anime and it keeps getting better. Subscribed
Watching mob get beat to a pulp was devastating. But then Mob forced Koyama to grovel.. and slammed him into another dimension. 👨🍳 💋
LOL YESS
