Congratulations on 8 years. What i was most surprised about was Pistol. Pistol runs so fast. Wow! So love how you take care of your pup. Thank you for showing the whole world 8 years.
Right on, eight years brings a lot of wonderful memories. May you keep on making more. Life, and travel, doesn't always require a plan. I'm finding, one day at a time works great.
At 8 yrs of fulltime RV traveling every single state and west half Canada, I was looking for the perfect spot of remote, off grid land. At 10 yrs I found it. Travel trailer skirted in, wood stove installed, etc. but my feet were itchy! Now, found truck bed cap and go on 2-3+ wk boondocking trips.
I didn't discover you guys until roughly 4 years ago and it's super cool to see the earlier clips of when you first started. Love you guys and thanks for sharing your adventures with us!! xoxo Cella & Sugar
What a nice recap of your 8 years RVing. We have been inspired by your many adventures and positive outlook (despite the challenge of the moment) for over six of those years. We look forward to each and every update. As we approach our 8 year anniversary of RVing, albeit only about half time, we too find ourselves wondering about what’s next. In the meantime, we have many adventures in the Want to Go list - and plan to take them one by one. We are relieved at the positive news about your son’s cancer, and wish for you, Pistol, and him a bright, safe, and healthy future.
We have been following you since started. We started RV life September 2017. We have made many transitions, class C, Van, truck camper, 5th wheel, class C again. Last summer with Bobs C diagnosis we bought a small place on the Oregon Coast. Closer to family and where we can fish, kayak and walk on the beach our happy place. This will be our last winter in Southwest, and we will return to just taking extended trips in the class C when able. Following you has been so fun, given us many ideas, helped at times we have had to live vicariously through your travels. Congratulations on 8 years, we look forward to seeing where you go. We still hope to meet you in person someday. We have a full hookup waiting for you on the central coast.
Greetings to the Carey Clan! I was amazed at the look back going 8 years into the past. The reminisce concerning the 1st year or two is a revelation for those of us who have kept our own such launch only in our dreams/wishes. Mr. Carey on is correct concerning the nature of your smiles. Too many vloggers appear to only want to have their faces shown. They stand out like a sore thumb when seen after seeing has them standing in fake poses only to make sure that they are in the picture frame. Having watched many of your episodes over the last several years, I have noticed a strong lack of such annoying traits, exhibited by you guys on your videos. The smiles that we see over and over again are proven in each episode to be an extension of the fun that you’ve been having out there over the last eight years.. I truly believe that if you did not have the kind of fun that you exhibit, you would not still be out living this life. There is an honesty in your consistent questioning, through the years, if this life is still to be in your future. As you continue on past those moments, it is clear that you are still having fun and that we have more Carey-on in our future. I first started watching this channel when the vagabond van from humble Road was completed and then handed off over to you 2 by George . (By George!) I have never understood why that build was not held onto by the Carey duo for longer. This is at least part of the reason for me continuing a regular viewing of your channel(to find out). The other part is of course related to the true-to-life fun times that you have exhibited, and the sincerity of your shared mission. Carry on!
We been watching since the beginning. Stayed by yall a few years Back at the Tampa show and met y’all. And Pistol. I still dream of selling it all and hitting the road in our coachman beyond class b. But been retired 3 years next month and haven’t pulled the trigger. Thanks for sharing y’all’s life with us !
What hit me: Our little dog Rider has been traveling with us everywhere we’ve gone since he was 8wks old. Now he is 15 and we have stopped planning our cross-country trip for next year because we know Rider can’t do it. We will do short trips that he can handle. I love you for how you love Pistol in your travels❤
Our lives revolve around our pups, don’t they? And we would’t have it any other way. They are here for a good time, not a long time so we’ll make the best of it. Same goes for us! 🤗🐶
I found your channel when you were transitioning from the van to the truck camper and trying to figure out how to store and haul everything. Thanks to the recap video, now I’m looking forward to going back and watching all your video. Trying to avoid political things now, so this is a good time to escape back with you guys. We’re planning a trek from Wash DC to the Oregon/Wash area this coming summer. I laughed when you mentioned trying to go somewhere with trekking over places you’ve already been. That’s been our biggest dilemma since the upper west is the last section of the US (ALL 50) that we need to cross off our bucket list. We even have some of the US territories checked off. LOL Anyway, thanks for recording all this and putting together the montage. I KNOW you’ll treasure all that hard work editing in the years to come.
I've been watching your channel for about 5 years. I was trying to get van build ideas and found you through watch the Humble Road videos. I've really enjoyed watching your journey. I also think pistol is the luckiest dog. When most dogs live in the same backyard most of their lives, she gets to roam the country and she looks like a happy happy dog. And, so glad everything is going well with your son's treatment. As for the future, have you thought about exploring Alaska? Wishing you all the best in 2025 and looking forward to the next spoon sale.
We are very new to your channel ( better late then never ) most evenings we end the day here in the Kootenays of BC watching a Carry video because it’s the best way to end the day we have found 🤗 So Thank you for your great content 🔆🐾❤️🔆🐾❤️🔆🐾❤️🔆🐾❤️🔆margy ,Ed and Nova 🐾
We have been watching you for most of your journey. I don’t comment often because we watch on the TV on my husband’s TH-cam account. We are in our ninth season of most timing it. I am finding myself having to plan more than I used to and sometimes it seems like more work and also find us repeating things because it is easier than researching. Yesterday though we went back to the Farmers Market in Las Cruces and although it was a repeat we are different people than we were eight years ago, there are different vendors and we have a different dog than we did then. I don’t know if you remember but during the beginning of the whole mess we had a few years ago we, among many I’m sure, offered a safe haven for you to stay if you needed it. We would love to be able to meet you but for us FL is out of the question. 😊 We are so happy for you that your son is getting better and you are able to look into the future and wonder what’s next. Enjoy the day and keep wondering.
It is interesting the evolution of travel over the years, isn’t it? It’s really funny when you think you’re on a new road and then you run into something you’ve seen before or the same campground. That can happen without a plan. 😂 Hope we catch you on the road somewhere and thank you for your offer. Carey On! 🩷
Said awww outloud when Dave said Irene was his best friend. Been watching you guys since you were helping George with your van build. Always love your adventures. 😊
No. Thank you! I really enjoyed this video. I really feel like I have you as friends. Maybe more, since I see you more often than my own family. I love pistol, but for me the star of the show is the nice chemistry between you! ❤❤❤
I think I’ve been following you guys for most of the eight years you have been vagabonding. It’s crazy to think you two have been out on the road for that long. What an amazing journey it has been. I am looking forward to watching more of your adventures in the coming years! Cheers and never forget… Carey On!🫶🏻
Very cool…..when you guys head south and need a place to park, we r in northern Alabama with water and 50 amp service. We’re just south of Chattanooga.
Wow…Ive been watching you guys a long time! I live vicariously through you! Definitely one of my favorite channels! Curious…Which rig has been your favorite?
We haven't seen blue berry scones for a long time. Maybe you could make some scones again and talk about maybe a new recipe for scones, and we've enjoyed your videos. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing all these years!!! 👍😊
You are so welcome!
