It's a shame that the current COE regulations do not allow anglers to fish near the locks and dams on my section of the Ohio any longer. We all understand the risks and dangers.. I never got within a half mile of any possible discharge without PFDs on.. but we live in a world of fear-based regulations now.. and our kids are going to miss out on some amazing experiences.
I grew up in Louisville, I've fished in the Falls of Ohio river on the Indiana side a few times... I now live in Leitchfield Ky not far from Nolin and Rough River.. I've never been out behind the Dam on a boat like that yall make it look easy though!!
I always catch and release from The Mighty Ohio, but there's a group of guys that have been keeping every little thing they catch for the last 3 years. And it shows because the quality of fish has really went down. Sucks
@geoadventure996 it's pretty disgusting that they allow them to do that. Same rule breakers where I work at. They will have meat that is wayyy beyond its expiration date and it stinks so bad. And they say just use it. And I'm in shock!!
Great video! I have to ask where did you get the fish gripper/holder that I see you lifted the fish with on the video? Never seen one like that. Thanks!
Been watching these fish bust on bait from the bank. I can never get close enough. Damn I need a boat
I would've like to see what broke Chad off, I bet it was a hoss!!!! At least u got to feel em. Man I love fishing!!! Jim is an awesome guide!!

here in maine we can keep 1 fish per day over 28 inches, the difference is ridiculous
In Ohio river you probably don't want to keep any. Mercury and other chemicals are abundant from factories dumping them in water. No one cares.
