Daedalus is my favorite in terms of mythology. Daedalus was an inventor and he built that giant robot thing that shoots giant missiles in a time where there was no electricity. That is so badass for a mortal to do.
BEST GBA GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the first one and The Lost Age. I love the way Golden Sun has it's almost impossible puzzles and all of the Djinn I had to get! Woah, Golden Sun is the best GBA game out there and possibly for me, one of the best games I have ever played!!!!!! 10 out of 10
Gotta say Iris's animation is top-notch. But Catastrophe takes the cake in putting terror into the opponents....and thats even before he unleashes his WTFHAX bomb.
Coatlicue's true effects doesn't really come in until later in the fight. It will automatically heal your whole party for 6 turns after you summon it. Works very well when using boss fight cause you won't need to use Healing Aura or Pure Wish. You can use this extra turn to set djinns.
iris is the best in the game. It kills ur enemies like he'll, and it heals ur guys fully and revives the dead ones. It was a life saver when I fought the doom dragon
Loved these games. incredibly annoyed though that my Lost age Cartridge got corrupted somehow and i lost all the awesomeness that I had trained so hard for
Ramses was my favorite, it's just so awesome. Also Tiamat is zomfg. Eh, GS - a game that truly broke the graphical limits of GBA when it comes to animations and graphics.
You would expect that these summons would defeat one of the larger monsters with one hit. You are wrong to think so, because the majority of bosses actually required many of these summons to fall. You had to experiment with them in order to overcome your foe.
You used to have them synchronized so perfectly: dark place = Ulysses light pouring = Nereid Sun rising up = Azul rising With the second song opening timed perfectly with Catastrophe... So why the new song?

It is a game that I have played more than a dozen times doing everything minus dullahan. It is amazing. Also Iris is a must, and on a side note at least half of those summons are golden sun 2 only.

Actually, that's not true. The creators of GS said in an interview a few months ago that they do want to make a third game, but they want to take their time developing it to make sure it's even better than the first two.
All Coatlicue does is heal every member in your current and backup party. If you want full revival of everyone and maximum health plus lots of damage, Iris is your only option:)
I used Coatlicue 2 times to defeat Sentinel. It barely heals anything when you summon on the first turn. But it often fully heals my whole party each turn after that. If the fight takes a long time to end, Coatlicue could really save a lot of effort.
more precise, for the following 5 turns, they all get 60% hp regenerated...thats really usefull in boss battles, like against doom dragon, when he uses curel ruin almost every turn =)
The healing amount seemed too low last time I used it. That and in most battles it might be useful for it would just be better to summon Eclipse (who happens to draw from the exact same Djinn pool) Maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea in this game (I usually am a big fan of regen)
Its sad that Iris never get some real use since you kill the strongest Boss ingame in order to get it.. Man this game is so fuckn awesome. I remember the days creating my PERFECT savegame with perfect eq and everything. Isaac with 99% crit rate and Sol Blade just ROCKS! xD

iris is the BEST and HARDEST summon to get for a very good reason :P u have to beat dullahan, he's unlocked by getting every djinn in the whole game(that includes that u HAVE to send data from golden sun 1) and dullahan have 16 000 hp on normal and easy, while on hard he have over 20 000, even at level 99 on easy and normal, hes REALLY hard D: (belive me, ive only managed to beat him once), but the power of iris is worth it, she causes a lot of damage, and she heals ALL chars to full :D
Ah yes, I remember them all. Catastrophe was my favorite, then Eclipse, and lastly Charon (just because of the instant kill thing.) All the others were nice, but I'm going mostly by visuals. Coatlicue was a complete waste of Djinn. I wouldn't use 3 Djinn to get the effect it gives, and the darn thing uses 6. I don't know what the progammers were thinking when they made that particular summon.
@moemoe525 FYI it is by most the incredible game i have ever played when i was young the game items and summons are so different even till today and unique which u only find in golden sun :)
the easiest way to finish the game is to not use any djinns, just go for magic and attack^^ if u got exalibur and sol blade you shouldnt have any trouble =)

It doesnt get that way on the GBA, mainly because it isn't captured and there aren't any card issues, or screen size issues as well.
Even after that long this game is and look damn epic.

what coatlicue does is to heal your party and keep healing them for 5-7 turns preety usefull against the doom dragons since i dont have iris yet

@muziquero28 Whats crazy is that in Dark Dawn. Catastrophe is a transformed Judgement! Kinda thought that was the case and now its confirmed!
