ive owned a few car dealerships driven everything literally from mercedes to maserati bmw to bentley all of them are now long gone but my audi is still with me.

Need adventure tyres... I took my Q5 in the snow... they are awesome offroad. Get wheel alignment done afterwards though :-)

Q5 3.0 TDI Owner here. You need to be smooooth on the paddle when offroad. Then it ist very capable. Most drivers in the vid give too much gas imo.

I prefer q5,cuz it’s lighter and shorter witch it helps for off roading,and even for a daily q7 is too big,q3 too small so q5 is the sweet spot(my dad had a Q5 and it’s lovely)

@@shadevelt Very, its not too big to be cumbersome and annoying around town, but its not small enough to be scary around semis and inconvenient when getting in and out. If you like sporty get the SQ5, otherwise I highly recommend the 3.0L V6 Diesel model. I own a 2015 diesel and its awesome. Very torquey when you need it while at the same time getting 30 mpg on highways! I once did a 3 hour road trip with a fully loaded car, at 80mph on the highway... the thing managed 33 mpg! And in my opinion its the limit in terms of options, the list of options is enough to be convenient but not too much to where you're constantly sending it for repairs. If you do consider getting one, make sure it has the Bang & Olufsen sound system, the thing is incredible even by todays standards.

In Europe you could get the old allroad with a low range
Great example of torsen based quattro's main weakness at the 1 minute mark. That white Q7 gets a wheel in the air, the wheel has nothing to push against so is basically providing zero torque, the torsen differnetial 'locks up' as best it can and multiplies the torque by a factor of 4 to the other wheels, but 4 x zero is zero, so the cars going nowhere. Proper locking differentials are the only way around that problem. For the most part torsen is a good compromise for road focused cars though, with a bit of momentum you can get past the obstacle in most cases, as happened here.

Maannn.... I should've kept my 2017 Hyundai Tucson AWD... At least it was able to lock the differentials. Very under rated. Gonna have to test out my 2015 Q7.
Pity the Q5 is no longer produced in China. Will probably look for a used one. The last one was amazing.
How are the off road trials in China?
I have seen these All Roads do some amazing things on stock all seasons.... Throw a bigger more aggressive set of tires on and those tanks will go anywhere...

As owner of SQ5 Plus 8R (2015) I don't wanna try this.
Even if was an simple Q5, you just destroy the car..,
Take Mitsubishi or Toyota, they're more specialized for that,
I dont't know what kind of opinion this guy want to express, I think Quattro is a system helping cars more stable in street use but not off road.
Wrong cars, they were made for street use not for offroad. Quattro helps but the vehicles themselves are not helping.

Oll road no es 4x4 ese es el problema porque el que los dueños de suv , coches off road , y todo caminos se creen que sus vehiculos son aptos para ir por cualquier terreno no es asi los offroad , suv ,todo caminos son para terrenos con tierra y algunas piedrecitas pero no para terrenos como los del video los terrenos del video son para vehiculos 4x4 como jeep , land rover y demas marcas que si fabrican coches actos para esos terrenos es decir 4x4 puros
