I almost missed this video. I love what you did with the front porch. I had done a simple refresh with a wreath I had just added some white pumpkins to it. Today is my birthday I turned 70. Enjoyed my day with family. Looking forward to the next refresh. Till next time.

Ugh yesss! Scorpions are the worst! And I hate that black widows are everywhere.. I don’t think we’ve lived anywhere, that black widows weren’t… and they’re of course the dangerous ones 😭

I went so simple on my front porch, too. Pumpkins, sunflowers and cotton stems. Oh, and a beautiful croton plant. I ❤ it! Less maintenance and lots of fall color! Happy Fall, Y’all!! 🍁🌾🎃

I once left a Christmas wreath on the front door until spring time. When I went to take it down I found a Robin had built a nest and laid her eggs. I had to leave it up until the little birdies were out of their nest!

Ananda, hi, happy fall. I just love this time of year. I usally have my place all deck out by now, but I just got done cleaning out my parents' house they passed this past couple of years. That was a big job. I really like the way your wreath turned out. What a quick fix. Im going to get all my fall stuff today. I also love your idea on the pillow covers. Yes! I see them in the thrift store often and always think they would be so pretty… but this was such a fun way to incorporate them!

Hi Amanda & Kyle! Loved your painting job on the flowers! I do think the flowers on the wreath could use another coat, & it's so pretty! The porch looks great! Those flowers in the wire basket thing with the jute wrapped around it are gorgeous & they were cheap! I just can't do it much decorating anymore. I do Christmas only! But I used to do it all over my house! It was fun & my kids were young & they loved it too! The room you're going to do looks good to do your idea to work your magic on! You & Kyle, I'm sure will do an amazing design on it. I can't wait to see it! Do you guys do make overs with people having a very bad time like major Surgeries or health problems etc & their space is a real mess & needs very detailed work, or you don't do those type of make overs? Amanda, I prefer a simple design especially since I'm not one to decorate for Fall. Switching out pillow covers and throws plus maybe a couple of pumpkins is as far as it goes. The door wreath is beautiful. I love the color payoff from the spray paint. I steer away from faux florals bc they tend to look too fake or cheap but spray painting just elevates the finish. I need that color.

Ha ha! I'm a New Years Day all Christmas decor comes down sort of girl. It drives me nuts here in Manila because the stores are decorated in September and it stays up until January 6th.
Because my Christmas Tree takes me 4 hrs to put up I have left it up till the end of February lol

There are many families in my area that are living at or below the poverty line and I try to rehome any furniture that I don't need. They get something they need and will use without having to purchase anything. I've been repaid with farm fresh eggs and garden vegetables. It doesn't get any better than that.
That’s amazing!! Is there a certain way you have found those families in need in your area?
@@KyleandAmandaVlogs mostly by word of mouth. I live in a rural area and the town population is about 110 people. We try to take care of each other. If I have something to give I can check in with the local church. Whenever possible I let the recipient do something for me in repayment so they don't feel like it's charity. Hence the eggs or vegetables but I've had people mow my lawn or shovel snow as reciprocation.

I'm a little embarrassed to post this - I once left our live Christmas tree up until the end of March (it wasn't "alive" any longer but it still looked green and held the needles) and once left our artificial tree up until July. I love having the decorations up but getting everything taken down and put away can just be a huge chore. Your front door area looks so inviting.

I love your videos but utube now has ads that last longer than your video. I may have to stop watching all together because it’s so many snd so long.
Kyle just said the other day he was watching a video and the ad on the video was crazy long - but then it had a note in the corner saying it was sharing a longer ad, to avoid more frequent short ads throughout the video? So maybe trying to be more like a “commercial break”? Idk… TH-cam is weird - because I can basically turn on ads, or turn them off, and then TH-cam does the rest. Even when I try to set where ads are placed in the videos, I’ll watch my own videos and ads pop up randomly where I didn’t say to put them, etc… so annoying! I’m wondering if TH-cam is hoping to push people to use their “ad free” paid feature? Maybe that’s why the increase in ads?
