Hi I am Jake! I am 26 years old and I finally found the confidence in myself to start skateboarding. As a veteran of the US Army, I find skateboarding to be extremely therapeutic and your videos have helped me overcome my fear of falling and just go out and have fun! The thing I've learned from this channel is to do a trick you have to try dozens, sometimes hundreds of times in order to get it.

The Braille skateboarding team is kind of a representation of different stages in skateboarding. Lance is the "noob", Gabe is a little better than an amateur and then Aaron is the pro. Love the channel and what you're doing :)

Lance gets tricks down fast, i wish i could have that kind of progression. All he needs is a little more speed on his tricks and they would look fantastic.

Is it more common for skaters to prefer to do 50-50s Frontside?I prefer to attempt them backside.I say attempt because I don't know how to do them I'm trying to learn them.Whenever I try to learn them though I end up doing a crooked backside board slide.I also don't understand how when doing it front side or backside when you approach the obstacle at an angle and Ollie how you make the board parallel in midair to land on the ledge that's the part I don't understand the most.

lance obviously doesn't practice a lot because it seems like he's uncomfortable when he skates
First i tried to ollie in and out of the curb and then i got a bit of confidence to grind that curb
I think lance should do a review on his revive board. Or a review on the stuff he's skating.

This is just me, but i feel like lance needs to learn to go faster on his board. Because i've noticed a lot of videos where he's trying to move and do tricks, that he's moving rather slowly. or when he goes to grind he comes in from a rather sharp angle.
Nice spot I find a spot perfect for grind in my city that is Bari in Italy
I'm not a good skater but I think more speed and more of an angle going with the ledge would help the tripping
Lance was one of those people who just had no fear....half my battle is not being able to commit....gets very frustrating!

How do you pop out and not rotate a full 90 degrees I have no issue getting on but when I try to get off I rotate 90 degrees or end up doing a 5050 to tailslide

usually you would have to put wax on the curb, unfortunately.
