Fiberglass matt can be use to stop the exhaust leaks if there are any. It will tolerate very high temperatures. Might have to glue it on first to keep it from moving.
@Ryan Martin well you have to take that cross member down jack the tyranny to hold it in place it ain't as hard as I thought cause my undercarriage is rusted but pb blaster a few taps in between and them bolts broke easy didn't even break any and that was my concern only driverside will come out without that crossmember being moved
followed along for my repair but the end that bolts up to the manifold doesent line up. ive bought multiple parts from multiple companies, none of them fit and suffer the same issue. any tips on how i could manuver the rest of the exhaust system to give me the extra 1/2 inch i need to make it fit?

Need passenger side I can't gt it out everything is disconnected just can't pull it out cross member in the way

I used this to help me with the Driver's side, if I do have to do the passenger side will I have to cut the connection from muffler to cat?

Would this process be the same for all the engines on the f150 1997-2003?
