Seen all the Filipino culture things here and there on this video made my eyes water because I was fortunate to experience them thanks to a friend’s family who took me in when I was a struggling adolescent. I remember those afternoons prepping Pancit and Lumpia. Eating steamed white rice with every dish and I got to snack on all kinds of different flavored instant noodles. Eating with my fingers was actually very comforting as it’s how we eat in El Rancho or El Campo ( the country side) in Mexico. I miss my friend and I miss Her mom who was like a mom to me.
