14:38 mam nav increasing atomic number nodi helbodalla adu metal antha (As atomic number increases the effective nuclear charge increases so it becomes an non metal as it move s right side so the least atomic mass element is metal) Is it correct
Dear student, although that's one way to approach such questions, it would be better to find out the group number. Because even if the atomic number increases, it might not increase enough for the element to be a non-metal. Also, there might be an element with a higher atomic number but it would still be a metal because it belongs to the next period. So to avoid such confusion, kindly figure out which group the element belongs to using its atomic number and then predict if it'll be a metal or non-metal.
Hey student! Such questions have already been repeatedly covered in our Chemistry videos. Kindly watch them. In this video, a similar question is explained at 08:17 th-cam.com/users/liveL81aAp6vFxk?feature=shared (01: 02: 23) Happy learning!
mam, in 17th a) 2nd question the minimum size among the atoms is Beryllium know because it has 2 shells, how can it be chlorine because it has 3 shells soo the answer should be beryllium know?
Even though beryllium has only two shells and chlorine has three, you have to note that atomic size decreases as we move from left to right across a period. Chlorine, with 17 protons in its nucleus will have a higher nuclear charge than beryllium and hence the outermost shell will be pulled closer to the nucleus, which will give it a smaller size than beryllium.
Thank-you mam❤
Mam we need these type of questions for all the lessons please🙏

You are the life saver. Watching it at the end moment of exam😅
We're glad the video helped you! All the best for your exam!

Mam atomic radius of beryllium is smaller than chlorine
@@SSLCPARIKSHE atomic radius of beryllium is smaller than chlorine.??
Hey Student! Yes, atomic radius of Beryllium is smaller/less than that of Chlorine.
@@SSLCPARIKSHE then how chlorine is an smaller
atom mam ????
