Its myth. You can have full faith in it. That is okay. History demands much more scrutiny, evidence and scientific inquiry. This need for proving it to be true exist in other religions as well. Same kind of people does try to claim that the events mentioned in their myrhs are true history. Historians reject it.

😂 Good Evening Brown Coolie, the thing is the west spent billions to find the existence of Jesus Christ and yet they still aren’t sure If he even existed, but all “historians” believe it, while here, we aren’t even looking not EVEN the slightest effort but already have enough evidence in front of our eyes.

@@grimsobad8545 Nope. Not all historians. Those who believe claims that multiple people are blended into Jesus. Some claim he may have existed but don't believe his miracles and stories. They provide theories and evidence but no specific verification is given. You can watch videos on it and read books on it.

@@grimsobad8545 Okay. When Ram existed? What original sources are there? Not just Hindu sources but all types. Do you believe that the mythical elements like super arrows existed? If so what proof do you have for that?
      And no,
The research on geography is not enough. You need dates, time, secular sources and much more.
      In case of Jesus,
You should read historicity of Jesus. Historian cite Roman, Jewish, Christian sources.
I was not sure about it's history enough then I read article on it and the claim is based on. Anything supernatural is still considered mythological in case of Jesus. Only his existence and may have teach someone. It is like evidence of Buddha.

Ramayan is part of our Folklore. Foklores are part fact part fiction. Older the folklore more the fiction content as with passage of time more and more stories get grafted on to the original

Don't confuse using English words. Maharshi's clearly called them Ithihasa in Sanskrit -which means they are real and happened in the same way stated.

@@deepakseth6256 'Ithihaasa' in Sanskrit means "thus it happened" , 'Itihaas' in Hindi means history. No need to confuse the two and that other dude is even more confused. The Sanskrit word is used only in discretion to two popular epics that are very much based on historical events, not all folklore or tales or other events. There are other kinds of lore in Puranas, Mahatmyams etc. which are more esoteric in nature.
What "Itihaasa" means in its reference to those words is to teach the core tenets of the Vedas and Dharma through the viewpoint of lived experience. These are somewhat secular (conducting ones life with Dharma or unconditional commitment to truth, duty, dignity, equanimity and well being of all). So yes, your first comment is correct, but to what end that is the question. Its also not just folklore like any other.

If people want to delude themselves they can, but the facts remain fact. Ramayan and Mahabharata are mythologies, and there is no historical records of them existing. No serious historian will say otherwise.
