    the 6030 with duals is a beast. Love seeing that big black smoke.

  • @MultiBaldEagle
    @MultiBaldEagle 13 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The 6030 was made from 1970-1977, and came from Waterloo, Iowa with a 466 cu. in. turbocharged - intercooled engine that was rated at 175.99 PTO HP. Most of them dyno'd a shade over 200. You could turn up the fuel and get about 235 but the engine would overheat if you ran it too hard with that much juice.

    Bauer Bilt with Kinze parts are manufactured less than 20 miles from here. The Bauers use a 48 row planter for their fields. No marker arms. They spend a bunch of time at the end of each row waiting for the GPS to catch up

    No no no. The 638 came with the same turbo as the 619 but the difference being the 638 had a longer bun bolt connected to the guano teds, but the 619 also had the lower shuttle pin from a 664, but the 664 had the longer probe that connected it to the dome, it also used the same plunger as a 554, but the 554 had a bigger wattle probe, also the 638 had a bigger lid as did the 7665, thus summing up means it can pull more furrows! ( I think)

    The 531 and the 619 are the same block family, so yes, a 619 would be a direct replacement for a 531 per se.

    ele esta fazendo plantio convencional e plantando sem botinhas e sim com disco de corte, sem duvidas isso ajuda muito para que o trator tenha mais força para arrastar todo o equipamento, se fosse plantado comk botinhas na plantadeira com certeza ele iria ter dificuldades para arrastar a plantadeiras, quem entende sabe oq estou falando, resumindo um trator desse porte se não conseguisse arrastar com facilidade o equipamento podia fechar a john deere

  • @wags2010
    @wags2010 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @cormus1 from the factory they say they're 175hp but my dad's old 6030 was put on a dyno sometime in the early 80s. it was a 300hp rated dyno and when they took the tractor up to 1900 rpm it was pulling 280hp and the dyno started making strange noises so they shut it down. he turned it down to 200hp eventually because it would always want to run hot when you weren't in cooler air temps.

    Since when was the exhaust manifold on a 5.9L Cummins on the left side of the engine? That's either a 531 (8.7L) or 619CID (10.1L) Deere mill in that tractor. Not only that, but why would anyone want to go from 531 Cubes, down to the 359 of a cummins?

    @fattigbonddrang I have a Lexion 470 combine (a CAT rebadged Class) and it is an ok machine, but it ate a $4,000+ circuit board and the shaker pan seals the 3rd season we had it. Both of the rear rims have cracked and been repaired. The radiator screen bearing broke off and it rubbed a hole in the fuel tank. And it snapped off a rear wheel axle this year in the middle of the field during corn harvest. $1700 plus next day air freight from Germany to USA to get it back going. :(

    @MultiBaldEagle negative...all of them came with a 531. Common misconception would be that some came with a 619 (not a 466), which was not even in the 7520 but instead made its debut in the 86 series 4wd from the 80's.

  • @MultiBaldEagle
    @MultiBaldEagle 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @brockmenold ....my bad....you're right, I read up on it. I was basing that on what I was told by a neighbor who had a 6030. I think the 466 was introduced in the "50" series in '83. Am I right on that?

    Need a cab tractor, all that breathing in of the dust, dirt, etc... not good on the lungs. I have my open cab tractors too but when plowing and planting where you are throwing up that much in the air it hard on the body, the tractor has air filters, you need something to protect your body too. And for those that think "Oh I am tough, well in a few years when you are coughing and you have health problems will see how tough you are then. I have done it, and took a long time to clear up my health, it is hard on the lungs, eyes, hearing, heart, no sense in doing damage to yourself if you can stop it.
    But other than the above it is a very nice setup, takes longer to put the seed in than planting.

    @fattigbonddrang I can't speak for Fendt, because I've never owned one, but Case and New Holland (same company... CNH) are junk compared to John Deere. They are a cluster of mix matched parts from various sources that do not work well together and dump oil out of every seal. I am speaking of the newer tractors (MX's TG's etc) as I have no experience with the older New Hollands and Cases. I have a Case MX-285, New Holland TG-285, and a John Deere 8420, all bought within a year of each other.
