On the inside of the panel it becomes obvious where the cut needs to be made. With a center punch you follow the metal lip around the outside of the panel. It's difficult to explain but when looking at the inside of where the cut needs to be made you will see and understand :) I think I show this somewhere in the video too.
you probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last couple of weeks xD
Hi, what is the difference in cost buying the with a oem rear window and without rear window. Is it worth it cost and time to do it yourself. What about if you makes mistakes or broke the window accidentally.
I can't really answer these questions as there's too many variables involved. If you find the van you're looking for with rear windows already then great. If not, you can do it yourself or with help from a friend in one afternoon.
I hope I never break one because they're not going anywhere! These have been fine. You just need to make sure to use plenty of the PU sealant because when you push the glass to the body of the van and then let go it pulls back a little in certain places. This is where a leak can form if you don't have enough sealant to compensate for the slight pull back, if that makes sense?
Very nice work
Looks awesome. I was wondering how you marked out the lining of the cut? You can see that the window itself is bigger that the cut
