To answer lots of your question: The hotel was: the guardsman! It’s a new one and they had a 35% off discount, hoping they do it again so I can book it again because would recommend, v lush (and fancy, bit of an upgrade from my normal premier in hub hotel hehehe)
To help with your dry hand on a night before u fall to sleep put some E45 on and wear white cotton gloves. My mom was told to do this when her hand are really dry
Turn down service is where they get your bed ready for you to sleep in it so if it has cushions they remove them and roll the duvet down for you to be able to climb in - as you said they will also normally provide you a bottle of water at this time as well it’s a fancy thing 😂

Turn down Service is them turning down the covers on your bed and leaving a little chocolate or petite four on the pillow. Basically making it up for you, so you can sleep. Must have been a very fancy hotel.
Literally nodding with the hand dryness! Try olive oil mixed with sugar, use as a scrub, put a layer of moisturiser on top and leave the mixture on for 5-10 minutes. Wash off, put a thick layer of moisturiser on again then go to sleep with those cotton gloves on. Try it 😉
When you pulled out all the drinks it made me pretty nervous cuz some hotels have a sensor in the fridge that automatically charges when you take stuff out 😳
I find #5 a bit heavy and sweet; #19 is more sporty and light, which is more me. But that IS a very cute bottle. (#5 has both a strong musk/amber profile and aldehydes, all of which I am allergic to. Figures. #19 is herby/leathery.)
But you do have some wonderful craftspeople. I've bought skirts and hand thrown cups and saucers and water colours, and heard such fantastic music! Grace would love it in our Atlantic provinces, I feel!

idk if you want a new hand cream but o'keefes working hands cream is the BEST. when I was working in a supermarket overlockdown my hands were so dry and sore from sanitising and it sorted them out in like two days

Heads up- just ask a hotel front desk when your forget a toothbrush (or toothpaste, or razor, etc). They will have a cheapo one for you.
