Too many people believe that Time x Hourly Rate = Money The reality is that it is Time x Leverage (which breaks down into Skills x Multiplicity) = Money But even still, neither of those take marketing and sales into account. As a new business owner myself, I horrendously underestimated marketing and sales starting off. Probably because I came from a 9-5 background. I believed all you had to do was build it and they would come. No, you have to build it, tell people about it, and effectively communicate what you offer to those who will receive the most value from it.
