- We're eating our way through Taiwan trying as many foods and drinks as possible! In this video, we explore street food on Jinshan Old Street in New Taipei City. For lunch we have duck and noodles with soy paste and guava juice. One thing about visiting Taiwan is that there's ALWAYS room for dessert. We find a vendor selling sweet potato ice cream decorated with colourful baubles and eat in the typhoon rains.

I really want to go to Taiwan 🇹🇼 now! One of my fav French tv Docu/show is “Échappées Belles” they have TH-cam channel they just done an episode on Taiwan a couple of days ago which I absolutely loved… May be some new ideas of things to do and see for next time 😉 you should check this it’s really good and also good to keep your French knowledge switched on

I'm hoping you got a break from the rain at some point during your visit, but I'm glad you persevered to have sweet potato ice cream. Yum! Team purple here, but, really, I'd bury my face in either. 🙌😘
Haha there was quite a bit of rain due to the typhoon but definitely not the whole time, thankfully. 😊 You’re right that both sweet potato ice creams were good. I also quite enjoyed the noodles and guava juice!

@@EileenAldis I ate in the duck restaurant, there is one dish of fried fish, it was super delicious (I go there over ten times but first time to find that fried fish), I saw your another video about xiao liuqiu ,I would also recommend green island, you can diving and see the colorful fishes. by the way, which count are you traveling now?

OMG did it ever stop raining? Seems like the typhoon that wouldn't end. You and the umbrella 🤣Not sure if I've ever had duck . I know I'd dig into those noodles for sure. !
Haha it rained quite a bit because of the typhoon but it didn’t stop us! 😁 The noodles were my favourite part of lunch (with the guava juice) and of course loved the dessert too!
