Did the YXZ guiy leave his sxs on a trailer at that hotel overnight? how did he secure it? been a big question of mine that prevents me from going on overnight trips
Yeah, the trailer was locked to the truck, YXZ strapped and locked to the trailer. We also worked with the hotel to get a 'visible' area by their staff. Sometimes you just have to do what you can and try to sleep well! Many hotels will work with you to place your rig in the best spot (if they have parking).
@@olsonj I believe there was a steel cable through the frame/suspension. Also many trailers will have a lockout on the hitch cup. If not, you can use the same cables to tie the trailer tongue to the frame of the vehicle. Additionally there are a number of wheel locks (light parking enforcement uses) that can be used which might be easier.

That particular hotel in Eugene I’ve stayed at a few times. They’re very helpful and happy to keep an eye on things!
