Can confirm my brain won't stop which is a blessing and a curse. Amazing because I have lots of time to plan and think about my next step....then you try to sleep....please I'm so tierd.
@SiriusNoxium dangerous for me. I have Sensory issues due to being on the Autism spectrum so focusing on my surroundings is equally as irritating. The feeling of my blankets on my skin, the buzzing from the ac unit in my dad's room through the wall as well as his TV and the light coming through the bottom of my door from his tv.
The first sign that you are not an INTJ is that you watch, listen to, believe, and trust videos made by other people who have the arrogance to tell you what you are and are not.
Thing about pessimism, they indeed aren't pessimists but we can be quite cynical about humans in general. Secondly, I do love food. Se is in the inferior slot and that makes the INTJ prone to ...indulgences sometimes. A popular one being food, this happens when they're stressed. I friggin love ice cream, a good steak etc. Because honestly, who doesn't... I wouldn't say INTJ's plan literally everything, that's simply impossible. But if I don't have a plan for something, it's often a consious decision not to.
Nailed it. Human stupidity often makes us INTJs cynical/pessimistic to a point. On the other hand, in a crisis, our optimism and fortitude comes out. When other types are panicking, we'll pull out our plan, snap into problem-solving mode and say "relax, we can get through this." And we definitely dip into indulgences when we're stressed (ironically we won't be stressed by the crisis, but more mundane things.) We'll overindulge in food, sex, drugs, entertainment; whatever our inferior sensing craves until the stress has been dispersed. These are important corrections, but all of Treble's other points were pretty much spot on.
i've found that it's a good idea to have multiple contingencies (the more general, the less optimized) for when plans inevitably go awry. stuff like "when in doubt, always stick to the right" for people exploring caves. also, anyone that doesn't enjoy the taste of food is a machine. it's practically my only effective coping mechanism besides isolation.
There's still some ISTJ mix-up in this. People overemphasise our Te and mistake our planning style for that of Si users (the quip about colour coded plans wouldn't really suit an INTJ, but would suit an ISTJ). Te is largely a tool we use to get things done but it's also exhausting. Where we more naturally want to sit is Ni-Fi-Se, but we put on our Te big boy pants when we work, then return to the batcave of Ni-Fi-Se to rest. When we plan, it's not like the organised and efficient (and possibly colour coded) planning of an IS-J. It's more that our mind just immediately jumps to the future scenario and starts playing it out. We then react to the mental scenario and change our plans accordingly.
I agree. I bought some color coded stickers during an INTJ loop, and I realized they made me less efficient once I was out of the loop. I just mostly use colors for time blocking.
Hmm. I think i have to relate to three points. 1. I do enjoy food quite a lot. 2. While sure, optimising and planning is cool i do not wish to do it all the time. Sometimes i just need to relax by myself on a dark stormy night. 3. I don't know if it counts as pessimism but i do have some cynical and misanthropic views about humanity. I think other points would push me towards being an INTJ, although i've never felt exactly at home in the stereotype, it is the result i have gotten for the past 3 times out of 4 times total that i've done the test, and i can alao heavily relate to some things. Overall a really intresting and well-made, thought provoking video.
You should be skeptical of INFP profiles as well. There is so many mistyped. Also they always want to label them as INTJs or INFJs without thinking deeper about it. Very surface level.
A real intp or whatever you call it will likely find the mbti or whatever you want to call it very uninteresting and a big waste of time. (Which is what if you wanted to know)
Agreed. I don't see how enjoying food is related, although I do agree that unless the INTJ has a specific hobby or interest related to cooking and/or baking, spending a lot of time in the kitchen is not necessarily going to be a high priority.
So I have ADHD and ASD And I have this weird thing where some days the ADHD is more prevalent and some days where the ASD is more prevalent On “ADHD days” when I take the test, it consistently says INFP, but on “ASD days” when I take the exact same test, it consistently says INTJ
Seeing if any of these reasons click with my INTJ brother: 1. Very pessimistic but knows that he is able work around flaws 2. Definitely NOT spontaneous but on rare occasions he’ll join in an impromptu plan from our family or friends. I can definitely agree that he makes plans for everything but I don’t know what he thinks about 90% of the time. 3. He does this at times but it’s actually used to increase efficiency- he’ll never miss what the task was beforehand. Yup, he’s really good at predicting, it actually scares me a lot of the time. I know my brother has winged his speeches before but I’m pretty sure he already planned it all out in his head rather than on paper. 4. Can’t say I know all his plans too well but currently he is a top student at his college. Also if he tells you he’ll do something HE WILL DO IT unlike me.. 5. Definitely efficient with his time but sometimes on weekends he sleeps throughout the entire day. Can’t blame him though because he works quite a lot and if I were him I would probably do the exact same. 6. True to an extent. My brother will try some new things but it’s probably in something he’s already seen before, like in a video game. He’s pretty interesting in his fashion, he actually has good fashion but not a good fashion sense. I noticed that he wears popular trends and expensive shoes to probably cover up for his poor fashion sense. He often wears darker clothing because they are always coherent with one another. 7. He actually does like food but pretty sure it’s just so he can build up muscle. 8. Yup, 100% agree on this one, even if somehow it doesn’t look possible for him, I’m rooting for him. 9. I remember him saying before that he will make at least 6 digits for his job later in life. I actually sometimes wonder if he enjoys the career he picked in college or if he gaslighted himself to think he likes it. Bonus: You can try guessing my MBTI based on my thoughts of my brother.
Easiest ways to identify INxJs are they have no spontaneity. They struggle to make things without a plan. If they do it without being stressed it's because they already had a backup plan for this eventuality or they elaborate one on the go worst case scenario. They have no interest for the past and traditions in general and don't really feel nostalgia because they're always focused on the future. This is why they can tend to clash with Si users who are the opposite way.
Hmm probably an INFP or ISFP, I'm not an MBTI fanatic nor do I know the principles behind it but just basing on perceived stereotypes for such individuals.
I am INTJ on every MBTI test. But... I sometimes lean into INTP and INFJ. And I am 100% sure to have Ni dom and very inferior Se (to the point that I get nauseous when there is too much sensory input). Regarding your list: I love food. Taste is the one and only sense I enjoy being overloaded with. I make plans, and I hate it when they are ruined. But my job comes with a lot of surprises and "oops, we need another contingency", so I adopted a sort of detatchment from being too emotionally invested in plans, and sometimes deliberately go with a "plan spectrum" and spot-made plans. I am naturally curious, and I will try new stuff. Just not invest too heavily until I am 100% sure that I'd stick with it. I guess that comes with a 99% openess in the Big5 oO These are the points that seems more like INTP stuff. I often do something, and it is hard for me to switch to "nothing". But my head is always busy, no matter what. So no, I am almost never bored.
I’m 100% an INTJ, but I LOVE cooking. There is a simple reason for this because I’m a chemist and cooking is edible chemistry. I love researching food science and will read huge text books on it for fun. So getting in the kitchen and experimenting is an enjoyable afternoon to me. And I get a fun meal out of it 😁
Wow. As an INTP, it never occurred to me just how different INTJs were, lol. I know that we share no cognitive functions, but without having met any INTJs in real life, I still just thought we’d be more similar, lol.
i am a compulsive planner and i used to allocate time for "organized chaos" because my friends were all very spontaneous people. Basically, I planned out a time where anything goes lol
People tell me I'm pessimistic all the time but I swear it's just me questioning things and being realistic which might actually be the most INTJ thing to say
I like cooking in the way of trying to optimize it. Making it faster, healthier, more environmental, using less tools etc. When I see a new recipe I like to break down why each step is done. Also when I rate someone's cooking it's also by the same measurements not just by the taste of it.
We, INTJs, do plan for everything, but for for simpler or repetitive stuff, we have processes in place to prevent planning over and over. more than perfect efficiency, we look for consistency... we'll perfect it later if we think is necessary.
A lot of this is accurate except the food thing. I think INTJ's fall into two camps: 1. Only Eating for Nutrients - No Pleasure 2. Only Eating for Pleasure - No Nutrients I find that being hungry impedes on my thinking as a distraction, so I'm always making sure I'm topped off.
If I'm saying, "We'll cross that bridge, when we get to it", it's because I've crossed it before and have a plan on what to do. I'm only going with the flow. And part of my plan is to slow everyone down enough to think about it , but not make it obvious I'm stalling. Not spontaneous, just learned to have muo plans, or to plan faster.
Suspected INTJ but could be INTP or INFP: 1: I can be cynical, but I wouldn’t call myself a pessimist. 2: Not at ALL! I know part of it is my ASD, but if I was forced into a random event without knowledge ahead of time, I can break down if it’s bad enough. 3: If something really stresses me out, I tend to procrastinate it, otherwise not really. 4: If it’s something I hate, yes. 5: No, I feel like I’m falling behind if I take life slowly. 6: I like trying new things, but not without reason, or if I find it stupid. 7: Food is my weak point. Even point 2 can be ignored if there’s good food XD. 8: I can literally stare at a wall all day and never get bored. 9: If nothing is going on, I tend to be a daydreamer, but I can also buckle down and focus when the time comes.
you could probably even be an isfp! it's a common mistype. your autism doesn't need to play a part in your mbti. take your time looking at the cognitive functions!
It is very very unfortunate, but I am indeed an INTJ; my Se inferior and Fe PoLr have always been as obvious and true as water being wet. Sometimes I wish I wasn't INTJ, but there's no helping it. I'd prefer I were an ENTP; they seem so carefree and able to adapt to circumstances on the fly. Not only that, they are able to spontaneously articulate and yap around things and situations well, which I am absolutely pathetic at most times. I have to plan ahead to win.
Not smarter, I know when I'm more knowledgeable on some things but open to when I can be wrong and could learn more things to fill in knowledge gaps. We can't know everything, but we can at least be critical thinkers and be humble when proven wrong. 1: Definitely some very concerning things coming up and thats why I am choosing to stay aware and figure out ways to improve the situation. 2: Color coding helps a bit. 3: Following my plans makes it easier and more efficient, so thats why I gotta have different systems in place in case I fall behind on anything which happens because other people don't care about my routines and plans. 4: If I'm not finishing things then I should figure out why I'm not and plan around it so I have a higher success rate. Otherwise, it must be dropped if its unnecessary. 5: Careful to plan, efficient in execution. But I'm gonna smell the flowers if I think it'll help me be more efficient, thats called planned breaks. 6: New things are cool and I'll look for new things and see if there's potential in improving my workflow or something. It has to have a reason for me to use it. 7: Actually, healthy food tastes amazing. Its not overly salty or sweet like junk food, junk food feels insecure. Nutrients are tasty, eat plenty of good vegetables and fruits, all that fiber and the seasonings help a little bit for health. You can't tell me that oatmeal or whole grains and lentils isn't tasty lol....but yes, nutrients is first. Always with these people in these diet cults and I'm just listening to actual nutrition scientists. I don't care about your bro culture or soyboy insults, my health is more important than your feelings and belonging to a community. 8: There's too many things to do and things to think about. Quiet time is nice, but its relaxing not boring. There's always time to rework my productivity systems. World domination? ....Hmm, I just want a much nicer society to LGBT+ people lol. 9: In my head a lot but a lot of the practically comes out. It shows in my workflow, my productivity, my actions. Unfortunately, I'm not physically tall lol. I just did the personality test since one of your videos popped up. I'm not too concerned how nicely I fit into everything, it shouldn't change how I act lol.
I definitely have trouble finishing things (that aren’t school related) that I have already started and I definitely don’t think of myself as a party-clown 😅
As an INTJ: 1) I am not pessimist, I just say/think what can happen, both good and bad ones. 5) Strongly agree, our optimization can be fast, average speed and slow. 6) We always have/find reason do to things. 7) I kinda agree but with developed Se we can enjoy sensory experiences. 9) We have head in clouds, legs/hands in dirt, Ni+Fi in clouds and Te+Se in dirt. Basically we are balanced.
I remember the last time you explained the reasons that an individual may not be an INFJ! Again, I do not rely on the 16 Personalities, just the Cognitive Functions! I sometimes have to realize that my habits result myself to have a unique personality, nothing more!
Agree with everything, except that one on finishing things. Unless, starting something, then doing it a little bit every once in a while and maybe finishing it in a few years, counts.
INTJs and ISTJs have some things in common but we also have WAY more diifferences. I don't know how I could get my headspace in such a way as to be mistaken for an INTJ.
If people are always asking or wondering if you're autistic, that's an INTJ. The INTJ is both most likely type to have autism, and the type that looks most like the stereotype of what was formerly known as Aspergers even when they are not neurodivergent. If no one thinks you're autistic, you're almost certainly not an INTJ. Although INFPs act more like the stereotype feminine manifestation of autism, that is not known by the mainstream. Fi havers and INxx are the most like autism in my experience. Autistics almost never use Fe in their stack (except as inferior) and almost always have Intuition above Sensing. FP and TJ are the Fi users, and are also the only EN types where autism is actually not very rare. ES types are the "normies" where ADHD is rare, and autism is almost zero. Even then the TJ and FP are a little more "quirky" in general
100% aggree. INTJ and autism are synonymes. Every typological system ( including medical diagnoses) were attempts to describe the same phenomenon and categorize people on that basis. ADHD is ENTP in MBTI. ENTP also is antisocial personality disorders which is practically always together with low dopamine ( ethic, spiritual, empathy enhancer neurotransmitter) trait.
INTJ 5w6 here, same results on every time at many tests done among some years and earned knowledge about cognitive functions haven't changed that; 1. I would call myself a realist - cynical, sarcastic and complaining the hell lot, but still a realist. Optimism is self delusional and often is guided by some kind of faith. 2. Spontanious? Definitely not. I just can't do something dumb/give into the chaos and even pretend to have fun. 3. I am rather against the flow, especially with theories/media news or anything most people takes as well known and not to be questioned, because something. I can't resist dissecting unpopular theories or science thesis/anything with some potential and test in mind/reality it's utility/coherency. 4. True. I don't like doing something for just the sake of doing that + If i start something, i finish that for enjoying the results. 5. True. Optimisation and seeking best possible options is a default mode. Everytime. Anything. If not, the Ni is gone for a travel, exploring stuff. 6. True. I dont' buy anything only because it's new. See also 3. and 5. 7. Actually i quite like cooking, but that's the figuring new dishes/improving already known and making a particular dish most tasty, nutritrious and cheap (and quick if possible) - that's area where Ni can show it's power if it gets that i think. Normally it is as said in video; make food, don't be hungry, stay healthy. 8. True, i can't understand why (for egzamle) damaging my ears on purpose, screaming for no reason and weaving hands up and down at cocnert is considered funny or something. Analogous point goes for clubbing and partying. 9. When i focus on something intensly, outter world doesn't exists. 10. I know i have Fi in stack, but it's that - it is more like: Fi, please be useful. Or don't cripple Te's judgements and actions if you can please. I mean it can't be relied on in terms of making any meaningful decision, even very personal ones, but it gives some insight on emotions, goals, morality etc. - nothing more. You want to be INTJ because you think being Ni-dom and Te-aux is cool and badass? I wouldn't arque it isn't, but imagine being Fe blind and sucking at most sensory stuff, including society. I would tell I am resistant to society and it's herd instinct, but in return society is resistant to me - i am fine with that, but there are moments in life you wish to not suck at emotional world. Amen
If my plans have a variable outside of my control, as an INTJ, I plan for it to fail and plan around that. Also, as an INTJ, i plan around its success, too. Many plans i make branch out into pass or fail segments. I also list out the pros and cons of each segment, and plan accordingly. Im cynical about people because they have been the root cause of all my plans ending in failure. Ive made more than one hundred 5 year plans, and without a doubt people have let me down. I no longer plan things if it involves another person, because Im certain they will fail. People are stupid, and that i can count on.
I'm an INTJ and I love food (though the nutrients is pretty accurate, mainly because I workout a lot) and get bored easily (more because I get bored of people). I even changed up the answers on the test based on a case by case basis, and got INTJ every time. I think I'm an INTJ just off of that
I love food but hate cooking, and i don’t finish tv shows and many things to be fair i read a lot everyday but i dont often finish books because i dont care a lot about the end honestly
So real on the trying new things part, though. I am almost always the only guy who isn't up to date on the latest games and the only times I'd actually try it out is if my friends (especially my ENTJ and ISFJ friends) annoyed me enough. And even if I get into said game, I would only play it if they were online and go back to what I find interesting.
lol I work in software so everyone wants to be the INTJ stereotype. I Was the only one in our office who got INTJ on the test. My coworkers got jealous. Boss asked me to retake it to be sure. Got INTJ again!
oh god i guess this is exactly why the first thing i think of when looking for a meal is to find one with balanced nutrition and mostly to help with building muscle.
being an intj just means loving being alone too much, which also means, going to therapy to finally accept that it's normal (or potentially great) as an adult i never not wanted to be myself more after i turned 20 years old :)))
Maybe this video may help you question your type if you arent so sure, but the cognitive function are the way to go for finding your type. Anyone can do anything but the important thing is why and how you do it. Cognitive functions are tools and you can use them to do many things. But is funny to watch some videos like this.
4:26, ah shit how u found out about that (actually, I have more than that and all of them based on the lifestyle I might choose after finishing uni, all of them depends on the time, quality and etc., so around 5-6 plans for sure and am working on a new ones, based on my recent life experience and I completely forgot about health, so it for sure around 3+ additional plans, btw it without any human interaction, if I need to include relationship plans, am not going to finish today)
Ok such a relief because it means im infj but my classmates think im intj because we did that test in class so it’s quite a problem because they think i like to be a loner and the truth is i have social anxiety
You're forgetting the part where our entire plan is defeated by a chair being 3 inches to the left or the part where we work really hard to impress someone, only to say the most awkward thing imaginable, only to not notice thus making it even more awkward, and then think about that moment once a month for ten years. 🤣
INTJ with an ESFP Wife...once of our biggest sources of discord is eating out... She always wants to try new restaurants and I always say why? The food is probably just the same so why bother? I'll try a new restaurant if it's demonstrably much better or different than the normal one, or the normal one has gone to shit for some reason. Otherwise...Nope. Driving round looking for a new restaurant when you are hungry is just not optimal.
Hop on a plane and fly to Vegas... I already live in Vegas, because I anticipated the event, planned for it, and executed... because I'm INTJ. (actually, one reason I moved here is because "everyone" comes here eventually and it simplifies my social obligations).
Welp, I satisfy all the others other than being optimistic, I just plan for failure and think about all possibilities in which it could go wrong, which makes me pessimistic. Sure I see opportunities, but I see opportunities, with a foresight of failure, if something were to be done wrong
My friend is an INTJ. I told you about her and the three month-long petty revenge plan she had with her coworkers. Ya know, the popcorn and gummy bears thing? 🤣 EVERYTHING you just described about how INTJs is 100% her. 🤣😂
I honestly have no idea why anyone wants to be an INTJ. What's the point of seeing every possible outcome and its likely-hood if its really hard to do anything with that information (like any other Te user) and we aren't making a living on just our brains (like a Ti dom). Honestly sometimes it feels like I have to work twice as hard for the same conclusion. Maybe that conclusion will be completely perfect, but the more I look at other types the more I wish I could be a 'wing it' guy and just get the whole thing over with.
I myself wonder where this INTJ cult comes from. I suspect that socially excluded autistics have created a cult of their own autism. In society, INTJs are considered boring and unattractive at best and walking demons at worst. In high school I had an Art History teacher who was an INTJ and was the terror of the entire school, everyone shuddered at the sight of her and she was extremely boring, of course like every INTJ she had autism, she took neuroleptics ( which upregulate dopamine D2 receptors to make her even more INTJ) and landed in a psychiatric hospital every six months, like other female INTJs she had hyperandrogenism manifested by thick facial hair and murderer's eyes. I don't know an INTJ woman who is mentally healthy.
I know I am an INTJ but I disagree with INTJ’s not being “we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it”. An INTJ will cross that bridge when they get to it because they have a plan for what to do when they get there. But you have complete step A before you can start step B in a plan.
I think I'm a feeler hell I'm an Infj but my MBTI test keeps telling me I'm an INTJ just because I like philosophy and use agendas doesn't mean I'm an INTJ I suck at math like really really bad
my INTJ girlfriend is always planning steps ahead on her phone while my INFP ass is focusing not to hit a street lamp xD So the sofa scene was hella relatable T_T
Naturally I have systematically analyzed and excluded every other mbti type to verify my INTJ-ness, while taking notes how to deal with / learn from / make use of / outdo the other types at their strong/unique side.
ISTJs are less intelligent? Really? ISTJs are out making it in life while INTJs are still trying to find their pants. 1. It depends on the situation, but I usually have a realistic outlook as opposed to pessimistic or optimistic, however my brother said that I have a pessimistic view of people, but he's wrong, I'm just realistic. 2. No, but I can adapt if I need to, I'd just prefer to not be in that situation in the first place. 3. Not at all. 4. No. It's exactly what the video says, after spending all the time and money and I don't follow through? That makes me angry. In fact, it's been a couple of weeks since I found out that I'm moving and have to drop the gardening project I was working on, and I'm still disappointed about putting in so much work preparing for it only for it to not happen like I planned. I hope that the place I move to will have enough space to garden, it'll be awesome to completely start it from the ground up and create an objectively ideal garden based off things like plant placement, the plants they grow best next to, etc. 5. No. I get called impatient all the time, but I just want to get things done instead of wasting time just standing around. 6. No. I'll try new things if they're cheap and have no risk of killing me, but I don't ever do it for no reason, for example, I'm starting to branch out and watch new shows I usually don't watch for the purpose of having more topics to talk about with people. If I don't have a subject to talk about, my conversations suffer, and shows are a big thing people talk about. 7. No. My relationship food goes as far as trying new things to appease my Ne. Other than that, I'm kind of the opposite of the INTJ, I don't mind the process of making food, but I'm sensitive to bodily discomforts and food triggers that a lot for me, I don't have many sensitivities, but I do have issues with swallowing and if I feel just a little overfull I feel like I'm dying, so I try to avoid that. I know the importance of eating, but for me, it takes too long, is too uncomfortable, and I'd rather be doing something else. 8. It depends, if I have something to do, even if it's something boring to most people like sorting buttons, however, if I have to just sit around and do nothing then I get extremely bored. Also yes, I'm a sensor and I find INTJs a bit boring, I like them a lot more than a lot of other types, they're like 6th on my ranking here is my ranking list: - ESTJ - ENTJ - ISTJ - ENFP - ESFP - INTJ - INFP - ISFJ - ENTP - ESTP - ISTP - INTP - ESFJ - ISFP - ENFJ -INFJ I wasn't really sure where to put the IxxPs except INFP, I just know that my top 4 is my top 4 and my bottom 2 is my bottom 2. 9. No.
could u do a video on telling the difference between an infp and an isfj i know that they are really different but when u are a 1w9 then its kinda hard to tell
Do You Think You Are INTJ?
Yes with this reason
Nuh uh.

Yep, and your insights are very good, but I also break all of those points.. but only to optimize more 😁
I'm an INTJ and seriously, who'd want to be an INTJ? It sucks being an INTJ lol.
It does.

Spot on Lmao
Because in the end we will solve all problems with one solution 👍
How did you know about my calculated toilet planning skills!?!?
I'm literally planing that right now.
Istj* Why would Intj would have a plan for everything when they narrow down the options.
The first sign that you are not an INTJ is that you watch, listen to, believe, and trust videos made by other people who have the arrogance to tell you what you are and are not.

Actually INTJs are more likely to listen to authority figures, it just depends on who an authority figure is to you. Maybe not random TH-camrs

it's a waste to ignore the moral boost of foods.

@@stephanierobillos What's an INTJ loop? Are you talking about an Ni-Fi loop?
This 100%
i am an intj but i have cultivated a great sense of fashion because looking good is very useful
mostly black
@@4Valentinus true
As an Intj I hate being Intj. People get mad at me easily I actually don’t want anyone to be an Intj it’s like living, sleeping, eating alone.
I think instead of a very detailed planner, INTJ is more to a bigger outlook planner. Idt they are into smaller details though.
True,
I'm always skeptical when I see INTJ, INTP, and INFJ profiles on PDB
Eyyy I got INTP hehehe, I'm so rare and quirky (I don't think these silly letters mean anything)
You should be skeptical of INFP profiles as well. There is so many mistyped. Also they always want to label them as INTJs or INFJs without thinking deeper about it. Very surface level.
exactly
Exactly! The fact that 90% of those self proclaimed Ni users don't even understand Ni properly.
A real intp or whatever you call it will likely find the mbti or whatever you want to call it very uninteresting and a big waste of time.
(Which is what if you wanted to know)
I made my INTJ husband watch this. He nodded the whole way through. Great job!
As an INTJ I always question my mbti type but the society disappoints me to doubt myself !!
I do not relate to everything... except the food. Man, food is one of my reasons to live
Same kinda lol, it's the only exception, for the rest I can see myself in everything. But I am an Italian foodie so I might be a special case lol
Agreed. I don't see how enjoying food is related, although I do agree that unless the INTJ has a specific hobby or interest related to cooking and/or baking, spending a lot of time in the kitchen is not necessarily going to be a high priority.
i like snacks, but there's no way I'm going to be in the kitchen making things to eat. it takes too much time out of the other things I'm doing.
As a confirmed INTJ, I agree to not liking food. As I have an eating disorder and eat bugs for breakfast to get the nutrients.
It's also not great when you have Sensory issues and tactile is your strongest sense. I can feel every chew.
So I have ADHD and ASD
And I have this weird thing where some days the ADHD is more prevalent and some days where the ASD is more prevalent
On “ADHD days” when I take the test, it consistently says INFP, but on “ASD days” when I take the exact same test, it consistently says INTJ
Because INTJ is true autism.
Seeing if any of these reasons click with my INTJ brother:
1. Very pessimistic but knows that he is able work around flaws
Bonus: You can try guessing my MBTI based on my thoughts of my brother.
legendary
Easiest ways to identify INxJs are they have no spontaneity. They struggle to make things without a plan. If they do it without being stressed it's because they already had a backup plan for this eventuality or they elaborate one on the go worst case scenario.
They have no interest for the past and traditions in general and don't really feel nostalgia because they're always focused on the future. This is why they can tend to clash with Si users who are the opposite way.
Hmm probably an INFP or ISFP, I'm not an MBTI fanatic nor do I know the principles behind it but just basing on perceived stereotypes for such individuals.
@@noone9084 ayyy got it- ISFP here
I am INTJ on every MBTI test. But... I sometimes lean into INTP and INFJ. And I am 100% sure to have Ni dom and very inferior Se (to the point that I get nauseous when there is too much sensory input).
Regarding your list:
I love food.
I guess that comes with a 99% openess in the Big5 oO
These are the points that seems more like INTP stuff.
And I get a fun meal out of it 😁
INTJ's can absolutely love cooking. Especially if we plan a new recipe and then implement that. But the eating bit...not so much
This makes me convinced I'm truly intj
Wow. As an INTP, it never occurred to me just how different INTJs were, lol. I know that we share no cognitive functions, but without having met any INTJs in real life, I still just thought we’d be more similar, lol.
Yeah, they are only one letter away and they do have some key similarities but J and P types are extremely different
As an ENTP, I would never imagine myself as an INTJ.
I'd have to be drunk and high to type myself as such.
same
I thought ENTPs were always high and drunk somehow.
@@kyurei4478 Not necessarily, but ESTJs are DEFINITELY high and drunk on power.
@@protokyne I guess there is many ways to be high and drunk.
Makes sense, they are your shadow functions (something you oppress the most, your opposite)
i am a compulsive planner and i used to allocate time for "organized chaos" because my friends were all very spontaneous people. Basically, I planned out a time where anything goes lol
People tell me I'm pessimistic all the time but I swear it's just me questioning things and being realistic which might actually be the most INTJ thing to say
Exactly.
About pessimism
when i searched about most pessimistic to least one in MBTI personalities
INTJ came as most pessimistic type
(In chatGPT and Gemini )
that makes sense
I like cooking in the way of trying to optimize it. Making it faster, healthier, more environmental, using less tools etc. When I see a new recipe I like to break down why each step is done. Also when I rate someone's cooking it's also by the same measurements not just by the taste of it.
We, INTJs, do plan for everything, but for for simpler or repetitive stuff, we have processes in place to prevent planning over and over. more than perfect efficiency, we look for consistency... we'll perfect it later if we think is necessary.
im very pessimistically optimistic if that makes sense
A lot of this is accurate except the food thing. I think INTJ's fall into two camps:
1. Only Eating for Nutrients - No Pleasure
2. Only Eating for Pleasure - No Nutrients
I find that being hungry impedes on my thinking as a distraction, so I'm always making sure I'm topped off.
Suspected INTJ but could be INTP or INFP:
1: I can be cynical, but I wouldn’t call myself a pessimist.
ASD stereotypes especially the masculine ones will always point to INTJ from a functions point of view
Probably intj
if you're an INTJ and you brag about your intelligence... you aren't INTJ
As an INTJ:
1) I am not pessimist, I just say/think what can happen, both good and bad ones.
Thank you for confirming. When I tell people I eat for nutrients… yeah, pretty sure fellow Trekkies think I’m a Romulan.
Tests usually say I'm an INTJ, but turns out I'm actually an INFP who loves engineering, wears a lot of black and might act really emo sometimes💀
lol sounds about right
How can you tell you're an INFP lol
INTJ 5w6 here, same results on every time at many tests done among some years and earned knowledge about cognitive functions haven't changed that;
10. I know i have Fi in stack, but it's that - it is more like:
Fi, please be useful.
People are stupid, and that i can count on.
the food thing 😂 could not have explained it better myself
I'm an INTJ and I love food (though the nutrients is pretty accurate, mainly because I workout a lot) and get bored easily (more because I get bored of people). I even changed up the answers on the test based on a case by case basis, and got INTJ every time. I think I'm an INTJ just off of that
Once again you have confirmed that I am an INTJ
I love food but hate cooking, and i don’t finish tv shows and many things to be fair i read a lot everyday but i dont often finish books because i dont care a lot about the end honestly
No on everything except food and I have a great fashion sense.
Also, kuddos on getting the math right on the number of days in 30 years. Extremely nice touch.
lol thanks
being an intj just means loving being alone too much, which also means, going to therapy to finally accept that it's normal (or potentially great) as an adult
i never not wanted to be myself more after i turned 20 years old :)))
Maybe this video may help you question your type if you arent so sure, but the cognitive function are the way to go for finding your type. Anyone can do anything but the important thing is why and how you do it. Cognitive functions are tools and you can use them to do many things. But is funny to watch some videos like this.
That's true. I've made videos on all 8 of the cognitive functions as well
Yes, I'm an intj literally my brother is an istp and he thinks I'm boring
And yes I love seeing my plans become reality
4:26, ah shit how u found out about that (actually, I have more than that and all of them based on the lifestyle I might choose after finishing uni, all of them depends on the time, quality and etc., so around 5-6 plans for sure and am working on a new ones, based on my recent life experience and I completely forgot about health, so it for sure around 3+ additional plans, btw it without any human interaction, if I need to include relationship plans, am not going to finish today)
World domination in different ways is included in almost all of them and the time of it depends on how long it’s going to take to get bored of it.
Bring it. Ok the food one kind of, and definitely the height one.
Ok such a relief because it means im infj but my classmates think im intj because we did that test in class so it’s quite a problem because they think i like to be a loner and the truth is i have social anxiety
But...but I didn't ask...😋 Not envious of INTJs, though. Smart dudes and dudettes, but can sometimes be a bit opinionated and assured in their views.
You're forgetting the part where our entire plan is defeated by a chair being 3 inches to the left or the part where we work really hard to impress someone, only to say the most awkward thing imaginable, only to not notice thus making it even more awkward, and then think about that moment once a month for ten years. 🤣
I can assure you, for certain, I am not assured in my views /s
Holy shit, you have described my life in 9 points.
The one thing you cannot fake about an INTJ is their authenticity. Even asking them to lie is dividing by 0.
Yeah our Fi child just won't budge, we just gotta be autheticly us
I know I am an INTJ but I disagree with INTJ’s not being “we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it”. An INTJ will cross that bridge when they get to it because they have a plan for what to do when they get there. But you have complete step A before you can start step B in a plan.
Sometime knowing there is no plan is plan of it self.
Love your contents !!
Well, that settles the INTP/INTJ question I've been having. Who wants cake?
The cake is a lie
I think I'm a feeler hell I'm an Infj but my MBTI test keeps telling me I'm an INTJ just because I like philosophy and use agendas doesn't mean I'm an INTJ I suck at math like really really bad

INTJ sounds like how I'd be if I started letting my perfectionism win instead of my ADHD. So I'm still probably an ENTP, INTP or INFP.
Naturally I have systematically analyzed and excluded every other mbti type to verify my INTJ-ness, while taking notes how to deal with / learn from / make use of / outdo the other types at their strong/unique side.
I know I'm not.
Am ENTP.
This video is still about me. All videos are.

Every time I have taken the MB test I came out INTJ. Coincidence?
Also yes, I'm a sensor and I find INTJs a bit boring, I like them a lot more than a lot of other types, they're like 6th on my ranking here is my ranking list:
