    Cody, I saw your dual survival series a year ago for the first time, and was inspired and amazed by your philosophy of "human" survival, and survivability. I think your an inspiration to us all, and I am grateful for your informative and innovative methods. The whole planet should take a page out your book, and really the book of humanity, and learn to live more sustainably. U rock sir!

    Instead of looking at the negative why don't you simply be appreciative that this guy took the time to show you what he did which you otherwise wouldn't have seen. So he tried to get creative and likely just wanted to give you a better viewing experience. Be grateful and spread positive energy because either energy is contagious. Thanks for posting this and try to find the good in things people for the benefit of everybody (including yourself). ;)

I remember thinking why is this store allowing a bare footed man to walk around in the store? I guess you get barefoot privilege's when you are an author of a book available in the store. He is such and inspiration to others.

It isn't his mora, it has a, what looks to be wood handle, and the sheath has a metal guard strip along the edge side of the sheath. I think it maybe is Swedish made, but that is only my opinion. I was quite surprise to seNice knifee him use a differnt knife, but we never got a direct look at it up close! See Dave carrying the Habilis Bushtool?

    I sort of understand the South Facing idea, since we are in Northern Hemisphere, he is trying to capture the sun's rays through the southern facing windows. But can someone explain Thermal Mass? Is it something to do with retaining the heat from the day and insulating it, keeping it inside the home during the night?

    • @shananagans5
      @shananagans5 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thermal mass is simply warming up a large amount of material. The more mass you have warmed up the longer it will stay warm. Thick concrete or dirt walls, once warm, will stay warm longer than a thin wood wall.

    Question, How do you treat a 10,000L Tank of stored rain water for consumption? A continuous level of chemicals? A passive chemical system? PH checks? so much to consider.
