    • @DJFurio
      @DJFurio  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @stephendriver1814 I thought they were meaning the drums. It’s hard to match the 12 bit sampler sound of the 90s that has that crunchy sound to it.

      This is simply not true. Some of the best hitting drums I’ve heard were on Tyler the Creators latest album. Also, Kendrick’s Savor has some of the best drums you’ll ever hear.

    That "Seven Minutes of Funk" bassline gets me every time. I personally think its best usage is in an 80's hip hop joint - "Its My Thing" by EPMD.
    Thanks for introducing me to some tracks I've never heard before like "Rich Kind of Poverty" by the super soulful Sam & Dave And some that I have and love to death like "The Show is Over". What a sample flip by QDIII.

    The basslines on songs that Khayree produces are my favorites from the 90s. The basslines on Mac Mall - Let's Get a Telly and Ray Luv - Definition of a Hustla' feel like they're drilling into your eardrums (but in a good way), and in my opinion, these basslines are also ahead of their time.
