I never understand why people say this. The fast and furious franchise was never about street racing. It was about heists using fast cars and an undercover fbi agent. The street racing they implemented in the movies weren't even 'cannon' perse. Literally just filler for the beginning. That's all (plus some other parts). I think the ONLY street racing movie out of the entire franchise was the 3rd one, which a lot of people don't even count as part of the movie due the story line (at the time) which they kind of forced to be part of the rest of the movies.

I moved to Houston from LA 5 years ago. As soon as I saw the roads, freeways, and how they were policed, I knew things were looking up. This is a great place to own a fast car.

It would be the best- worst detail ever for me. We own and love these type of cars also but we just don't want anybody getting hurt. I already had to pull a dead woman out of a passenger seat and they charged the driver with homicide. Please be careful people... Word Up. P.s Those f'n Camaros!!

We have insane meets like this in Florida too. The cops aren't as bad though. As long as you aren't drinking or fighting, they pretty much leave you alone. RT 301 turns into a drag strip after 11PM.

The big single turbo Supras are cool and I remember when those at 700/800 hp were about the quickest things at meetups. Not anymore though! Takes 1500whp+ and 3,500lbs now! My Plaid is quicker than most, but gets stomped by the serious cars

With 200 officers dedicated to covering this scene this would be the perfect time for professional criminals to do their thing everywhere else. Criminal 1: "Let's rob a bank or two."
