I just installed this and startwd using with my push 1 and slmk3. Amazing work! Thanks so much for sharing the content. Absolutely love the different note and sequencer and chord modes. Breathes new life into my old push. I seemed to have some issues when running both the slmk3 and push activated.. push wasnt always responding to pads, e.g. going into note mode. Seems ok now im just using it for the push which is more than adequate tbh as i like the midi templates in normal mode on the mk3.
Hello, i'm now testing my new LaunchPad ProMk3 in Reaper.. I'm stunned.. Huge Thanks! ❤ Is there possibility for displaying all "scenes" in the grid, so first row of pads are scene 1-8, second row 9-16 etc.? Second thing i really like to be implemented is that muted clips will glow with lower intensity in pads or even be no light at all for them. Have a nice time
@@mossgraber Reasoning behind this: In Reaper clip session view is not important to me as launchpad user. Instead i will prepare much more scenes and will organize clips in them. After that, im not interested in clips when i play live. Scenes can be organized by color, rows or columns. This alone will be gamechanger for me. I can even make simple "pixel art" and play on it :D Second thing is workaround that clips are stacked regardless their scene. I will create empty clips and mute them to combat this, i don't want them be seen in the grid. I got my launchpad for Bitwig or Ableton use, but than i discovered your channel and learned about "smooth scene switching". This little thing is enabliing live usage in Reaper for me, and i don't want to switch DAWs. I mean i tested both Bitwig and Ableton, but Reaper is better for me and can handle more vsts without sound issues. Thanks again, you are a legend.
Goood stuff. What do you think about the Ableton Move? Seems like it could be better as a controller/ interface for DrivenByMoss than its native function. I'm excited to see what you can do with it.
Puh, tough question. Not really interested presonally. Much too limited for a standalone device (I have enough MPCs for that task). Might be interesting as a controller...
I would love to see some love for SSL controllers. MCU sucks in Reaper, and CSI is complex to set up. Do you have anything for the SSL controllers on your roadmap?
Hey Jürgen, thanks for the new update! I just checked with my Icon QconProG2 when I use your "Script: airon_Show VCA Followers of selected VCA Leader.lua" action in Reaper it works, but it puts my controller into a freeze mode, where I can't get out of (at least not with any button on the controller). Do you have an idea what to do?
@@mossgraber sorry to bother you, but one more issue came up... the record button doesn't record anymore... on the control surface simulator I saw a "new" button which records one bar fine... can I make the rec button work again?
Hi. Great stuff! I should start to do HUI config for my Yamaha DM2000 and see if I can get it all working with REAPER, but I'm not yet sure what plugin I should use. DrivenByMoss is just one of multiple different plugins available that try and improve the control support for REAPER, but since the DM2000 has complete support (everything from jog-wheel to track arming to markers and metering and everything imaginable!) I wouldn't want to start out with one and find out later that it can't do what I want to do... And yes, only HUI because Yamaha has always been like that... :D How complete DrivenByMoss's HUI support is? I'm not against using HUICMU converters or something similar in between if necessary...
HUI support is pretty good, just did an update for it due to the Yamaha nonsense. It is in this video: th-cam.com/video/9vweVhauIrs/w-d-xo.html where I complain about it as well ;-)
@@mossgraber Hey, if you want someone to thoroughly test DrivenByMoss HUI stuff on Yamaha DM1000 and DM2000, I can do that. I have the hardware and the requirement to get HUI working anyway, so I'll be testing the functionality regardless. But I could report to you and you could make sure I did it properly and send the report so you can put that hardware to your "supported" list? Should I contact you through REAPER forums regarding this?
Can this browser feature work with the SSL controllers using MCU mode? I would be happy to pay or help if you would like to get the SSL controller working with Driven by Moss.
