I think enka is an underrated aspect of Japanese music that isn't touched on a lot, it lends this sound to the music that almost reminds me of the use of gamakas in traditional Indian singing, or even slightly like the "yodel" folk sound in country/folk music

Thanks to you i went on searching about "gamakas" and i found an indian woman singer who perfectly explains it. You are right, it reminds Kaze's vocals. I like a lot these exchanges on YT, sometimes we learn very interesting things. I appreciate indian music but never heard the word gamakas.... (For Kaze-san's vocals, they also speak about "reminiscence of Japan's kayōkyoku pop standards". I remember Kaze said that "Kazeyo" is a typical japanese song...) 👍👏👏💙💛❤️🎶🎵🎶🙏🙋♀️🇨🇵
I just found on YT "Oji Sama" channel who proposes versions Acapella of songs on requests. There are about 10 of Kaze : Shinunoga-E-wa/ grace/ Matsuri/ Kirari...... I though you could be interested to listen to....😉
It explains why to me it sounded like those bollywood songs the one with red night effect (idk how to explain) like example the hindi songs in which singer try to sing about love more like a obsessive love giving it a scary effects like in sa ra ga ma pa dha ni sa than again comes sa... which sounds dead life less yet scary.

Just to let everyone know 1997 born are workaholic, they make sure their work are flawless. I remember our teacher told us that we are the best class she ever handled in her many years of teaching. That batch are full of 1997 babies. She told us that all are smart and have different talents.
