Unless it's been made, we need a mod for Fusion where the SA-X appears randomly, regardless of where you are. Like you enter a large room but instead of seeing enemies, you hear the SA-X's roaming theme and foot steps until you leave the room.
It would be worth looking into Metaquarius' Super Metroid X-Fusion project he's been working on for thr past several years now. The SA-X sequences in that look genuinely terrifying when you consider the "no more than 10 SA-X" dialogue at the end of Fusion. Random encounters would be an algorithmic _nightmare_ but I definitely agree, it would be amazing if that happened.

Are any (other) upgrades not randomized for story reasons (like missiles/ice beam)? What happens if you don't get morph ball in first few upgrades, does run end or are there clever work arounds?
Required upgrades are: Missiles, Morph Ball, Charge Beam, Bombs, Speed Booster, Gravity Suit, Hi-Jump Boots or Space Jump, Plasma Beam, Screw Attack or Diffusion Beam (to exit sector 4 after opening security level 4). And the SA-X Ice beam is not necessary, but it's an item you can pick up. The first check can have 3 different items. 1- Missiles: the seed is reasonably easy, as the morph ball will be almost vanilla. 2- Morph Ball: It's the seed with the hardest possible start, as the data missile can be anywhere, so you have to look for the data to use the common missles. 3- Speed Booster: you'll have to shinespark to access the sectors, nothing too difficult, but then morph and data missile will be a little hidden.
I wish I could see each of the variations of beams. I wonder if they would have different animations/sounds like in Zero Mission during sequence breaks. Oh well.
I skipped those Power bombs because 10 Power bombs are already needed for the entire game. And if I can't find Power Bomb Data I can't use Power bombs.
It would be way better if every power bomb tank would also unlock the power bomb to being useable to make the randomizer more explorable just like super metroid or zero mission, then again, this is how fusion works unfortunately

I mean the sprite for the suit is used. Fusion --> Varia is just a palette swap, and same for Gravity. You're seeing that exact sprite with the base suit palette. For the beams, I have no clue.

So normally in the game your beams stack and you can't get them out of order. So does this randomizer feature custom sprites for when you get beams by their selves when usually you wouldn't, or do those just exist in Fusion's code but go unused?
Yes, when you have wave beam but you're not wide beam, there's a sprite that doesn't normally show up (and trust me, wave in this game sucks. It doesn't add any more damage.)

The X Obey instincts and their instincts tells them to kill Metroids at all cost Over anything else (Samus in this case cuz she is part Metroid in DNA) and that why The Sa X helps Samus at the end cuz the bigger threat became the Omega medroid

the lvl of a Seed is how scattered the items will be, that is, having to go deeper into the sectors.

You have to download the program that randomizes the items to generate the seed. And then pass the generated seed to a GBA with SD card.
