Nice video, but most of the tips you've given wont work. Until there are smaller matches, the team with the most competent players will always win. You can have a 99% win ratio, but still loose because some silly teammate will only buy artillery.
Despite you teaching this game officially for the first time, i appreciate the vibe you give. Its well structured, has reason in explanation, and offers a direct and simple method to apply what you teach. cheers
My problem with games like this and Wargame/Warno/Regiments etc is that I grew up on games like Command and Conquer/Warcraft/StarCraft which are all about making blobs of units and sending them into the meat grinder where careful micro-ing generally wasn't needed. These coldwar/modern military RTS' are all about heavy micro so it's hard reprogramming my brain after 25 years of that alternate play style.
i came in with that mentality as well. this is like super hardcore version. even losing a soldier could set you back. im trying to adapt as well but it definitely looks like fun once you get into the groove of it.
Starcraft and Warcraft are actually significantly faster/more micro intensive than this game. In Broken Arrow units move very slowly over a massive map. It can take 3-8 minutes for reinforcements to arrive and can often take 5-10 minutes to prepare a massive assault. Don't worry about all the little details high level players do. Just focus on learning the basics and getting 1% better after every game. If you play enough games matchmaking will eventually pair you up against players just as new as you.
Having played some WARNO and a shit ton of starcraft 2 (competitively) before, this game and especially this strategy was extremely nice to play. My first 6 games I was struggling to make a lasting impact, so I checked youtube and found this. Next game I got a 4.5D/L with almost 60kills. This helped out a lot and I hope you keep up the good work ❤

They are definitely less powerful than in WG Red Dragon, but they seem useful for ambushing enemies and fighting in tight urban areas where vehicles can get disabled and killed. Also can be good for bringing relatively cheap MANPADs or antitank missiles and camping out in a tree line to support your vehicles.
So apparently with a 5 stack its kinda meta to have some sort of Air Superiority be it Jets, Choppers and/or Paradrops to win the game fast. So we started to each send a Fighter Jet out instead of a Superkobra with great success. Ground Troups and Choppers are just to slow to counter that early Air agression. Very aparent where this game is being made
Well it's understandable for gsmeplay reasons as it wouldn't be fun to play as russia if everything you had was just worse
@@nikoloso no its not... they could make it asymetrical balanced, ruSSia could field shit units but more numerous or just cheaper so some of its worse choices could be even more cost efficient in game
@@DuroSVK Makes sense but having more shittier units is objectively harder to play because of APM. If you put a new player in a game as a Russian versus a new player as an American, I'd say the American player would probably win way more often, just due to having to deal with managing less stuff
@@DuroSVK which would lead to shitty gameplay. In W:RD we saw what kind of games having decks with just spammy units leads too. We can manage the fantasy of powerfull Russia for more enjoyable peer to peer games. At the end of the day almost everyone enjoys the the advanced tech and units, and very few would enjoy just throwing cheap units to win.
@@aai2962 making both factions same is even shittier than making them asymmetrical. Building whole army out of unicorns totally kills the immersion.
Pushing arguments like “well it would be just shitty” is just your own coping. It’s obvious where this game is made and it’s just laughable at this point
