I tried this bass in Paris and is AMAZING. Love it.
We also have some great photos of you playing it!
@@DingwallGuitars the best Photos and the best experience for me these year!!!! Thank you for everything. Including making my favorite bass 💕
Saw these at NAMM. They are awesome!
Sounds amazing
Ok, I've heard enough, I'm heading to Long McQuade music, I have to get a Dingwall John Taylor Singnature 5 what a gorgeous and great sounding versatile bass guitar.
my only indecision is, do I get the Black one or Sea Foam Green 🤔
Black
@57precision I have seen the black JT signature demo'd in a few videos and am leaning more towards black 😊
Which one did you decide on?
The main visual aspect of this signature bass is the stripes but I would rather not have them. I like everything else about the JT model. (Also, I wish it was made anywhere other than the PRC.)
You could probably get an ABZ in a similar spec for about $1000 more. Black sparkle paint, maple neck, no stripes, neve pre. Something reasonable to consider since this is already a very expensive bass and not for anyone that is budget-conscious.
Same here…Sold my Combustion for that reason! Bought a CNC and now I build my own, made in the USA.
@@57precision That’s true. I already have four Canadian Dingwalls. I just have a hankering for a new 5 string fretted without jumping in the deep end again.
I find this strange, John Taylor used to play with a Rickenbacker at the beginning then he played with an Aria and then until now he plays with Peavy Cyrus. I never saw him with a Dingwall ???
That 2 Slashes must become a general option
Hi! I really love the bass.
One quick question, around 7:25 I could notice a small clank when changing the rotary switch. Was it the sound of the physical switch, or is this something that happen when you change pickups while playing?
I'm almost certain that's the sound of the physical switch, I'm surprised that was picked up on the recording at all tbh.
The physical clank of the switch does come through your signal path, at least on my D-Roc 5. It's very subtle but it's there. I imagine you won't ever be changing pickup settings in the middle of a song though. You can always turn the volume off before you make a switch if you're worried about it between songs.
@@57precision ok!! Thanks for letting us know. I do not think I would ever need to change pickups in the middle of a song, it was just curiosity!
Monster Bass ❤

They should move to Korea or Indonesia. I think the china thing prevents people like me from purchasing one.
You need to be a pole smoker to buy and use that bass
