why not just make it actual double time so it is 1000x easier to read
Jackson Mack I don’t think it’s current form is that difficult to read. Also, putting it in double time changes the feel from 4 to 2.

I played the solo saxophone part for this piece and honestly it does need to be written differently. Like it’s not bad for sure but it doesn’t hold up to the rest of the piece and writing
