It's weird on how an American football stadium can become a basketball stadium. It would take a lot of work because they would've to decrease the size of the playing area to make a good size for the basketball court. Also, I'm wondering about what basketball team even plays in AT&T Stadium.
The Pistons played at the Silverdome from 1978-1988. The Silverdome had a capacity of 82,000 for football and set several attendance records for various events. The most notable being wrestle maina 3 March 29, 1987 that set a record of 93,173 for the largest indoor sporting event until the 2010 NBA Allstar game February 14, 2010 at Cowboys stadium with an attendance of 108,713. Pope John Paul 2 mass on September 18, 1987 with 93,682 in attendance. The Pistons had single game attendance of 61,983 vs. the Celtics on January 29, 1988.
Its crazy that they have to put on an extra jumbotron just for basketball games. But I guess that's just for the people sitting courtside since the mega jumbotron would be too high for them to see.
No QB throws that high. Only a couple of punts have ever hit it (one was on purpose), you just replay the down. Most punts go to the side so there's no danger.
...Am I the only one who noticed the sun stopped briefly? Like...watch the sun multiple times in a row, it stops what seems like mid day, and continues...and the people keep working. Interesting.
Honest question, why are the Cowboys "America's team"? I personally can only think of 1 person I know who actually likes them. I have met way more people who despise them...me included.
The way they covered all the uppers it shows how silly it is to use a stadium like this for basketball. May as well put the court in the middle of an outdoor college field and leave the bleachers just like they are.
