My 3 year old and extremely tame budgie flew out an open door last night. With several square miles of forest surrounding my house and an awfully cold, dark and rainy Norwegian night, we thought he would be lost and die for sure. This morning I got up before the sun and spent four hours trailing the woods while playing this video loud on my phone. Eventually I heard him faintly respond to it from atop a tall pine in the middle of the forest, and now he is back home. Thank you so much. I would never have found him without this video.

Dear banco, Your cheaping was my parakeets relief to happiness....he has passed today (November 11, 2013) When his other friend died in 2011, he was depressed. He loved this. Now that hes gone, i thank you for doing this cheaping and happiness when he was alive. RIP Skya the bird. 2009-2013

Florin Feneru Every time I see a budgie video, it makes me cry. My pet budgie died at 8:30AM on the 15th of June 2015. Her name was budge, she was a good bird (although she did peck and bite most of the time) but I used talk to her a lot. She seemed to like It as she would come up to the cage and try and kiss me. But, she's passed away now, we buried her at 4:30 PM on the 15th of June. I just wanted to let you know, I had this bird for a good year. I'm sad now :'(TGWM

I just bought a 5 month old budgie. Her name is Lola. She was looking very depressed and had not made a peep in 3 days. I started playing Parakeet videos on here to make her feel at home and she did nothing until she heard this one. She went crazy! Climbed all over her cage and was singing back. She is in love with Banco! LOL She looks so much perkier and she even went down to her food & water. This is her favorite video now :-D

When I came home from an audition, I realized I had left the door to my bird cage open and they had escaped. I couldn't find the two in the usual places, so I turned this on. They were sitting on my dollhouse. Romeo responds to his own kind, thank goodness for that. Thank you, Banco, for helping me find my birds. Now, about the poop....

our budgie Blizzard loves Banco. In regards to it doing him any harm, I visited the site for the nature sounds budgerigar calling and it states that it is okay for them to listen to other budgies calls. Blizzard doesn't seem distressed after hearing banco and he actually perks up a bit which is nice. He hears birds from outside chirping and has the same response and when we talk to him he gets excited. thanx for the vid:-)
