Hey, by any chance do you know how many decibels your exhaust makes? I been trying to find this info with no results. The reason I’m asking is my racing club only allows up to 95 decibels. Not sure if it’s 95 at idle or 95 at the edge of the track.
@@throbbybobby7893 mine it up perfectly bro. Should have returned and re bought. Sounds the same a full race and looks damn near identical. Just x10 cheeper then full race
@@DTuned559 Word yeah maybe I got a bad one. Have you had a full race? I honestly sold my rev9 so quick cause it droned like shit in cabin. They sound similar outside but I'm wondering how it sounds inside for the full race.
great comparison wowwwW! how much did you pay for the full race at the time? thanks! was looking for a used one, but how much did you purchased yours new?
It is possible to assemble the slip joint incorrectly which will cause the exhaust the hit the chassis. Not hard to figure out if you spend three seconds to think about it.
@@DriveBreakFixRepeat LOL the dude who told me he had slip join problems said it also might be because he makes 800hp and if he did crazy pulls it would come out, but he told me after i commented haha
Have a few more things to do before I get the car dyno tuned, so it's on an OTS Hondata map right now. Still, torque feels fine. These cars are geared so tightly that the engine rarely lives below 3,000 rpm.
I have a k24a2 with the skunk2 header and a q300 and a metallic spun cat, sounds good and is very reasonably loud. I have tons of on track footage on my channel if you are interested
@yah yeet It's all perspective. If you come from a Cadillac its bad. If you come from any 4 cylinder with an exhaust it's very tame on the drone. Above 80 mph it starts to get annoying, but it's very easily drowned out by the radio, and you can still hold a conversation, albeit at an elevated level. Personally I plan to switch to the Full Race this winter, but from my research I expect more volume and drone
Hardly any new cars sound this good now.
Really impressed with your videos! You are truly an underrated channel!
Invidia header and a full race exhaust is the nicest sound I’ve ever heard out of an k20
I'm sold! Invidia header with a Full Race exhaust!!!
I sold my full-race 3" V band exhaust for $375 2 months ago. It was very heavy and a little loud. I went with the stock one.
Impressed by how in depth this review is. I have an RSX Type S so I wouldn’t get this exhaust but it was nice to see what you thought about it
Did you end up weighing the Full Race exhaust? I'm curious how different it is vs stock

Actually actually sounds really good in the car what is the drone like at 70 mph or does it even have one
Some nice driving with some nice sounds great videos man love the 8th gens no doubt
you should do this same video with the rev9/ full race exhaust rep on ebay? i think i would be a good video
This!
I had one, it was droney as shit, and you need to tweak the hangers to get it to fit, don't recommend

How much did you get the exhaust and where? Clean FA5 🙏🏻
Not a ton of wiggle room on pricing, everyone pretty much sells them at MSRP. Just find whoever will do free shipping lol
Would you sell the old set up? The go power
Already did.
I heard this exhaust has a problem with the slip joints? have you had any?

Did you loose torque in the lower rpm range? I am thinking about installing 2.75 inch q300.

any fa5 wanna meet up fa5 cruise? near downtown LA
Me lol
I'd love to go to the track and see how much slower me and my fa5 would be than you...do you post anywhere before you go to the track?
Depends on how much time there is. A lot of events tend to be last minute, but it would be cool to meet up with some Honda owners at the track.
@@DriveBreakFixRepeat understandable, I hope to see you at streets someday soon!
@@DriveBreakFixRepeat FA5 track day? 🤔🤔

Sounds stock before the full race its 300% better with the fullrace
Is this with or without headers?
This is with the Skunk2 Alpha. Check out my previous videos for more info.
@@DriveBreakFixRepeat do with an invidia header is you want to hear the full potential;)
