Brilliant solution to the only real drawback of the BRS stove (fuel efficiency in a breeze). I’m finding that the Ocelot works as advertised. Components are high quality and Jon’s design is elegant. IMO, this is a must-have accessory for BRS owners. Only “con” for some people might be that assembly is a bit tricky at first. Personally, I find the process kind of satisfying.
This is a very elegant design, congrats. I would pull the trigger if it would fit inside a Toaks 550ml and weigh a bit less - maybe it's possible to make this from titanium and having the boiler plate two pieces or flexible? I realize, this might not be possible. The BRS is definitely not great in wind but I have been okay with putting the stove behind a rock or inside a tent vestibule. This makes the windscreen somewhat of a luxury item for me personally. Hence my thinking, I carry this for 99% of my day and I am very strict with items like that.

Look at our Ocelot Mini for the BRS 3000, it is exactly what you are looking for.
@@FlatCatGear Thank you!
One of the best windscreens out there :) .. great design.
Love this practical idea , oh for a Ti version for all those weight weenies out there !
How much does this windscreen system weigh, and what material is it made out of?
All Stainless Steel and weighs about 1 oz.
It nests with a fuel can! Sweet 👍
Does it improve the fuel efficiency so it goes up the list and competes With the other stoves?
Efficiency does improve. That being said, a Pocket Rocket Ocelot will alway out perform a BRS Ocelot
Oh no.... I just ordered one. Edit. This doesn't nest into a 550ml cup 😬 I missed that.
my 350ml set up would be in jeopardy then , damn being a weight weenie really sucks !
