The Metallica background got me pumped, Lilith looks terrifying! I remember reading nightstalkers issue one she was in it, this is a great way to introduce her to the mainstream, hopefully she appears in the MCU, she's one of my favorite Blade villains.
They actually showed a little bit more than I think they should have - looks like Scarlet Witch will be one of the first 'demonic generals' you fight against, and I imagine you recruit her to your side afterwards (hence why she's in the lineup when the title drops). Which begs the question - will you get to recruit Hulk? Or even Venom, who seems to be maintaining the Lethal Protector title from the demon schmup corpses around him. Edit: Ah man, I just noticed that they quietly dropped the Switch version. The Switch logo is no longer included in the lineup of systems the game is coming to - and I just checked, and it definitely was part of the platforms announced when the first trailer dropped. That's a shame, I was looking forward to playing this on the go!
During the trailer Lilith mentioned she’d remove venoms pain so my theory is she’s using all mind controlled characters past as way to make it easy to control them.

It uses card based elements like a deck of cards for combat replacing the attack buttons in a typical turn base game kind of like a tabletop. A card game is more like Heartstones for example while Midnight Suns is more like an interactive tabletop in combat while an third person RPG outside of the combat.

Given the projects in the MCU rn being developed, characters who’ve been recently introduced, and the fact they’re making this game, I’m 99% convinced the MCU is gonna have their version of the Midnight Sons (yes Sons, not Suns lol). My prediction for the MCU squad would be Dr. Strange (hopefully), Blade, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider (Johnny preferably), they’ll probably make Black Knight a member even tho he wasn’t in the comics, Elsa Bloodstone, and Werewolf by Night. Maybe we’ll eventually get characters like Hannibal King, Daimon Hellstrom, Voodoo and others as well. Hoping we’ll have the teamup by 2025 or 26

I just want Dr. Doom in this game. No way a threat like Lilith emerges and Doom doesn't get involved. The earth is HIS to rule after all. Lilith would mess things up. I'm hoping that during the story the heroes go to Doom for help but that at the end of the game Doom manipulates them in order to steal Liliths power and becomes the true threat. That or they at least set him up as the villain for a potential sequel via a post credit scene. Doom throws magic hands with the best of them so he needs to be in the story (as well as Brother Voodoo)

I remember being so hyped for this game being such a huge midnight sons fan. Then I found out it’s a card combat strategy type game. Don’t get me wrong it looks and sounds amazing. But I hate card combat based systems in games. Really wish this had the Avengers game type of free roam and Missions. But we will just have to see.

I think that the main antagonist is definitely Madame Viper, Nagala, or Princess Python. Whichever one she is, she's also wearing The Serpent Crown. The Serprent Crown has a mind control power that can possess people including both heroes and villians. In the comics, Warlord Krang gives it to Madame Viper so there is that to support my claim which makes me lean towards the decision that it's her in the game; furthermore, she is also visually similar to the game character. I'm less likely to think that she's Princess Python unless she somehow has the Serpent Crown, because other than her snake and her electric prod as weapons, she has no superhuman abilities or magic and never possessed the Serpent Crown canonically. Also, Scarlet Witch has defeated them both in the comics and so has Doctor Strange. Finally, it could also be Nagala who has red eyes, green scales, and looks exactly like a snake, she also wore the Serpent Crown most recently to the best of my knowledge so it could also very well be her in the game. However, the game character looks more like Madame Viper than Nagala. The Serpent Crown was last seen or mentioned in Secret Avengers in 2010 and Conan: Serpent War in 2020. Sadly, after all that I'm totally wrong, although I do like my version better, because the Marvel official website says that Midnight Sun's antagonists are Hydra, Lilith, and her corrupted army of the fallen versions of Venom, Sabretooth, Scarlet Witch, and the Hulk.
I don't understand the word play Sun's instead of Sons and why the character swaps? Spiderman is not in that group(nor is are a couple of the others.) I'd rather see a flushed out story with MoonKnight and then the other members join along the way. Disney did MoonKnight so wrong when it could of been the best story to date.

The Metallica background got me pumped, Lilith looks terrifying! I remember reading nightstalkers issue one she was in it, this is a great way to introduce her to the mainstream, hopefully she appears in the MCU, she's one of my favorite Blade villains.

They actually showed a little bit more than I think they should have - looks like Scarlet Witch will be one of the first 'demonic generals' you fight against, and I imagine you recruit her to your side afterwards (hence why she's in the lineup when the title drops). Which begs the question - will you get to recruit Hulk? Or even Venom, who seems to be maintaining the Lethal Protector title from the demon schmup corpses around him.
Edit: Ah man, I just noticed that they quietly dropped the Switch version. The Switch logo is no longer included in the lineup of systems the game is coming to - and I just checked, and it definitely was part of the platforms announced when the first trailer dropped. That's a shame, I was looking forward to playing this on the go!

It uses card based elements like a deck of cards for combat replacing the attack buttons in a typical turn base game kind of like a tabletop. A card game is more like Heartstones for example while Midnight Suns is more like an interactive tabletop in combat while an third person RPG outside of the combat.

Given the projects in the MCU rn being developed, characters who’ve been recently introduced, and the fact they’re making this game, I’m 99% convinced the MCU is gonna have their version of the Midnight Sons (yes Sons, not Suns lol). My prediction for the MCU squad would be Dr. Strange (hopefully), Blade, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider (Johnny preferably), they’ll probably make Black Knight a member even tho he wasn’t in the comics, Elsa Bloodstone, and Werewolf by Night. Maybe we’ll eventually get characters like Hannibal King, Daimon Hellstrom, Voodoo and others as well. Hoping we’ll have the teamup by 2025 or 26

@@vivid9877 yea and a lil bit of research tells you it's a card based game. It's a tactical rpg but the combat is turn based and you play cards to attack and defend. The rpg stuff is heroes interacting between battles and weapon crafting.

I just want Dr. Doom in this game. No way a threat like Lilith emerges and Doom doesn't get involved. The earth is HIS to rule after all. Lilith would mess things up. I'm hoping that during the story the heroes go to Doom for help but that at the end of the game Doom manipulates them in order to steal Liliths power and becomes the true threat. That or they at least set him up as the villain for a potential sequel via a post credit scene. Doom throws magic hands with the best of them so he needs to be in the story (as well as Brother Voodoo)

I remember being so hyped for this game being such a huge midnight sons fan. Then I found out it’s a card combat strategy type game. Don’t get me wrong it looks and sounds amazing. But I hate card combat based systems in games. Really wish this had the Avengers game type of free roam and Missions. But we will just have to see.

It’s NOT a card game. It is a strategy game developed by Fireaxis, the same team that made the xcom games. It has/had card based mechanics but after normies who play fps games and mobile games complained about the card based mechanics they modified it or changed it

I think that the main antagonist is definitely Madame Viper, Nagala, or Princess Python. Whichever one she is, she's also wearing The Serpent Crown. The Serprent Crown has a mind control power that can possess people including both heroes and villians. In the comics, Warlord Krang gives it to Madame Viper so there is that to support my claim which makes me lean towards the decision that it's her in the game; furthermore, she is also visually similar to the game character. I'm less likely to think that she's Princess Python unless she somehow has the Serpent Crown, because other than her snake and her electric prod as weapons, she has no superhuman abilities or magic and never possessed the Serpent Crown canonically. Also, Scarlet Witch has defeated them both in the comics and so has Doctor Strange. Finally, it could also be Nagala who has red eyes, green scales, and looks exactly like a snake, she also wore the Serpent Crown most recently to the best of my knowledge so it could also very well be her in the game. However, the game character looks more like Madame Viper than Nagala. The Serpent Crown was last seen or mentioned in Secret Avengers in 2010 and Conan: Serpent War in 2020. Sadly, after all that I'm totally wrong, although I do like my version better, because the Marvel official website says that Midnight Sun's antagonists are Hydra, Lilith, and her corrupted army of the fallen versions of Venom, Sabretooth, Scarlet Witch, and the Hulk.
I don't understand the word play Sun's instead of Sons and why the character swaps? Spiderman is not in that group(nor is are a couple of the others.) I'd rather see a flushed out story with MoonKnight and then the other members join along the way. Disney did MoonKnight so wrong when it could of been the best story to date.

Edit:Everyone, I know this is just a trailer for a game. I am saying that this trailer looks pretty cool and I am excited to see Wolverine, Blade, Ghost Rider etc etc. And the story and the villan seem interesting. So, like I said before, I am looking foward to this game.

I love this super aggro high energy trailer. For a card combat game. I love a card game, but this seems like it's going to leave a lot of people scratching their heads when they see gameplay.
Can't wait to see how the turn based combat plays out in the game.
