One thing you got to give Marvel credit for is their efforts to make a variety of console games these last few years. Marvel's Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ultimate Alliance 3, and now an Xcom style game. Weather you like these games or not you got to admit that they definitely have some variety. I am very curious what they will come up with next.
It's really good to see Marvel branching out instead of depending on Acitivsion to make subpar games like they used to.

The Avengers game is shitty and considering this game is from 2K I don't feel good about this game either.
Hell yeah and I love the Spiderman games, The Avengers game and Ultimate Alliance 3, Guardians looks cool, hopefully the story and the places make up for it but this game being a Turn based tactic RPG, I'm not a fan of but guess I'll wait for the gameplay on september 1st and see how it is, who knows I might give it a chance. If it was an action 3rd person game like the Avengers game or at the very least a MUA type of game, I would instantly pre order it lol but we'll see.

Two things I like. The edgier Marvel characters and Metallica.
Would have been cooler if they kept to the Midnight Sons theme and not had any main roster Avengers though.
I'm fine with it as they aren't leading the team. Plus their new outfits are more midnight son-y

I have no doubt in my mind it's coming. It might only be in ten years time, but Moon Knight is in the MCU, as well as Blade, Punisher is always going to come back at some point, plus soon Morbius will be around. And then you got Ghost Rider, who was super bankable even before the MCU existed. Have patience my friend.

Some of them being: Norman Osborn, Knull, Thanos, Carnage, Kingpin, Bullseye, Purple Man, Mephisto, Sabertooth, Dormmamu, The Kree, Nitro, Hydra, Red Skull, The hand, Vanessa Fisk, Jeri Hogarth, and plenty of others. Especially the big magical and cosmic threats
Maybe in like 3 years from now when Marvel introduces more Supernatural characters
They are Currently in development.
Moon Knight show is coming to Disney+ where Werewolf by Night will be introduced along with Elsa Bloodstone most likely. Kevin Feige has also said he wants Man-Thing to debut. Plus Daredevil is joining the MCU, along with possibly Jessica Jones and Punisher (which Feige has said he likes and wants.)
We also know the Blade movie is coming in Phase 5 and that Ghost Rider will have a cameo in Multiverse of Madness, which includes a likely candidate, Scarlet Witch. Morbius will be around in the Sonyverse and of course the leader Doctor Strange has been well introduced.
The fact they are making this game shows that Marvel wants people to start familiarizing with this dark side of the Marvel Universe, and the team. They are coming 100%

I'm pretty sure the game will be single player focused, with PvP multiplayer on the side. After all the game is being developed as a turn-based tactics game based on the Marvel universe.

I hope they add the rest of the original Midnight suns like morbius and moon knight and punisher etc
them, Daredevil, Iron Fist, either of the Scarlet Spiders, Werewolf-by-Night, Elektra, Johnny and Danny as Ghost Rider, Elsa Bloodstone, Colossus, Wolfsbane, Nightcrawler, just get a schmorgasboard of characters with ties to magic, religion, sword and sorcery, or relations to the main cast or Midnight Sons line. Just give em all!

What I have heard, they may appear as unlockables later in the game but still a rumor
Some people have complained the inclusion of the likes of iron man, cap and captain marvel but kind of a blend makes it more marketable for casual followers (movie watchers) and creates a different dynamic so could be fun
Still would be dope having someone like moon knight in the game, he hasn't appeared in any major marvel game if I am not mistaken, also throw in daredevil and morbius

This reveal trailer honestly has me more hyped than the Avengers original game reveal trailer did. Really happy to see some of my faves here (especially ones that need some more love outside of the comics); Wolverine, Magik, Nico, Robbie's Ghost Rider, and Blade. Plus it being made by Firaxis has me kinda excited to see what kinds of tactical features they can implement as well as how you can upgrade your characters. Hope they do well with it. :D

Me and some "comic fans" are pleasantly surprised to see Nico on the game's roster of playable heroes, heroines, anti-heroes, and anti-heroines as it means Marvel is actually acknowledging that yes The Runaways is a teen anti-hero group within their lineup along with acknowledging that Nico is one of the Marvel Universe's most powerful spellcasters not as powerful as say spellcasters like Doctor Strange, Magik, and Scarlet Witch but still up there in terms of magical power especially when she taps into the true power of the Staff of One. Only nitpick I have concerning Nico in the trailer is her cutting herself to activate the Staff's true power when in the comics after taking over as Runaways leader after Alex's betrayal and death she managed to renegotiate that deal that one ancestor of hers made with The One allowing her to tap into the Staff's true power without the need to constantly injure herself.
I love the runnaways comic series. I loved the twist with who was the impostor
This is probably an alternate reality, just like every other marvel game.
I must've forgotten that part. I feel as though the pain thing is just a signature characteristic, something to separate her from the others, probably why they did it as well.
I would not even consider Nico that powerful cuz she kind of needs the staff to tap into her magic.
It's even MORE disturbing that she can also use "that time of the month" for the staff's blood offering. I AIN'T kidding. Just looked it up a few days ago. Yeesh. Whoever wrote that was both deeply disturbed and a genius for loopholes

the original track is still my favorite of the 2 but it's a freaking amazing cover imo way better than the cover of Nothing Else Matters, covers are rarely a hit in my books tbh but this Enter Sandman one, this one nails it

Not really up on the current comics but Nico, billed back then as Sister Grim (I think), has been around since the early 2000s. Not really a new character or anything.
