Watching here in Minnesota with a temp of 25 degrees Fahrenheit this evening. It’s been below zero, freezing rain and snow, so above zero temp is a plus.😄. Thank you for another interesting explore. I liked the stained glass on each side of the one stove, never seen that before. Hopefully your weather cools down some, and thank you Paul for putting up with the heat to document this piece of history.👍🏻😊
Hi Marrilyn :-) Yes a vast contrast in weather from there to here! haha :-) Putting up with the heat is all part of the journey but dam it was hot! :-) Cheers for watcing

That farmhouse could be fixed up and rented out, no worries! I love that they didn't paint over the wooden panels, also the stained glass windows behind the wood burning stove. I liked the whole house, really. Good find , l sincerely hope they rent it out so it can have some joy and life back within it's walls!🦘😁🤗

Awesome explore mate I can only imagine how hot it would of been in there sweating yah ????. When you opened the fridge I was saying now mate dont do it but you survived the on slaughter He He He. Cool old house loved the hallway with all that dark oak nice, and the cool stained glass in the oven space, a cool explore cheers my friend.
Hey Werner :-) Yeah mate talk about a sweat box in there that evening!!! lol Tin roofed weather board homes dont do too well staying cool but they do cool down quicker than stone built homes. :-) Cheers for watching again :-)
Ha -Ha, I'm watching it snow outside while you are cooking, strange old world.... The farm appears to have been started about 90 years ago, as a guess from the trees. The "Stage " area was a loading dock, for trucks with a heavy load that required a flat transition to a cargo bed. (Fuel Drums, Fertilizers?) if you look carefully at the flooring it has a definite sag downward by the sill. looks like you could put it back to use fairly quickly. Cheers.
Hi, Paul, that looked like the kind of heat you pass out from. Thank you for braving that for us!! I love this farm, it looks and sounds so peaceful. That sure is a waste of a lot of hay. I love the way you peeked around the corner of the Shindig barn to see if any sheep were in there before going in, lol Baa Baa Paul sheep There was what looked like an old drum set up on that stage, or am I way off base? A filing cabinet, in any event. Tweety Birds, crickets, no cars, so peaceful...... It is snowing here. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend-SDK
Hi SDK :-) Yes that day was HOT lol. Yeah think it was a drum on the stage. Very serene and peaceful at that time of eve in the country. Nothing better! Cheers SDK :-)
Wow this place looks ready to move in!!! I nearly died when i saw the dove soap!! That stuff is expensive, i wouldn't have left it lol. I can tell this is country Victoria. Last weekend, I went to Bordertown and we popped in to Serviceton just across the boarder and straight away I noticed the differing architecture between states. I must watch last weeks video as well as I missed it. I wasn't in a you tube frame of mind last Sunday!! lol That shed was definitely a shindig shed!! I'd love to own a shindig property!!! ha ha. great video thank you so much for showing us around!!
Hi Heather :-) Yeah this is Victoria. Pretty safe bet any weather board farm house in the country I upload will be in Victoria. That is the biggest difference between SA and Vic. Cheers for watching again :-)
There were three interesting roof details, one on the front peak, and two on the middle peak on top of the house. They looked like a wave curl, kinda reminded me of a front bow on a Viking ship. And the wood doors and wainscoting in the house was still really beautiful.
Looks like a very nice home, too good to let go. The interior reminds me of my grandparents home but was cladded with galvanised iron. Beautiful countryside.
G’day Paul, this one is quite similar to the one you’d visited three days earlier. The similar round-edged weatherboards, along with the similar gable, pattern of battening, and basic ram’s horn finials almost screams the same builder. Thanks for taking us along.
Another amazing slice of OZ history, Paul! My in-laws had a farm down in the Fleuriea. The hay sheds had resident red-bellied black snakes, which were tolerated, because they kept rats & mice under control. I always found the red-bellies pretty docile & almost "laid back" if you let them be. Brown snakes were totally different & VERY aggro...2 of the top 10 deadliest snakes on the planet. Let's not mention the owners of those webs you brush through. Sooner deal with a snake than a spider, any day...
The platform in the shed might have been used to stack hay and bags of chaff and feed to stop moisture rotting them when they’re stored on the ground. The old part of the house looks to be from the 20’s, the paneling is lovely
Another Saturday in the books with my favorite explorer Urbex Indigo. Ive never heard you say your name but from the comments they call you Paul so I will too if that ok! Thanks for another great video..Kara from Arizona USA 😁👍❤
Just for interest sake most large older farm implement sheds have a raised decking for storage off the ground as well as easy access to load and unload trailers. The top shed on my old farm had a large raised wooden decking which became a bar and games area. Because it was too big for it's own good I turned the shed into my car restoration workshop but spent more time on the decking with my mate from town than on the tools with the cars. Others have converted them to stages and have locals over for local bands, or any excuse to get together for a drunken night.

Great house!! I was surprised to see it's in relatively good shape on the inside... I wonder if it's a possibility it's still used sometimes. Shoulda checked the dates on the beer!! 😂
Hello Paul how's it going. Well that was on great home I loved it the long passage, the wooden walls, picture rails and was that lammie panels on the bathroom walls? Just my kind of place! Paul was the back of the house an add on? It looked like it to me but then I'm no expert. Every time you go to these old farm's and you walk through the long grass I think is today he will encounter a snake. You think that house hot, I think we are all in for much hotter weather that's on it way.
Not a bad home, doesn't seem to be too many original features left but not a bad place. Looks like someone was there some time recently, therèare a few items that aren't totally covered in dust. I liked the small stained glass by that one wood stove. Think those barns are pretty much done for don't think the hay barn will stand much longer. Thanks, Paul
An interesting explore of what once would have been a charming farmhouse, with the Art Deco paneling, old bathroom and doors with the original knobs. A great find thanks Paul and a pity the house has been left to deteriorate to the harsh elements of the Australian climate.
The style of the front looks like the house next door except it has a brick enclosed front porch, the layout is way different though. Thanks for this video and tour! This summer was a hot one (My first summer in regional Victoria haha) I really had issues with it 😂 can only imagine what it was like out there! I noticed when you were leaving the house they had a Kmart laundry basket - a grey one up against the wall. Pretty sure they only came out in the last two years or so? So I think it’s probably been used fairly recently for boarding farmhands etc, which with the seperate clothes horses for drying their clothes in pretty much every room would make sense.
Good video but u didn't say or give a close up to the old chairs and kitchen tiles and the bed headboard would have bn very interesting to see up close.Just suggestions to make ur videos more interesting 😉.Thanks.

@@urbexindigo5164 Thank you for taking the time to explain :) I thought about this, but wondered if there was also another reason. As a woman I find it great :)
Cooee from the high country NSW. My old place had a machinery shed similar and a landing about the height of the tray-back ute or light truck for easy load/unloading. Can't see any evidence of sheep yards or shearing stands therefore this ole farm you're looking through appears to have be running cattle?
Cooee from Adelaide at the moment mate 😁👍 this old farm is in rural Victoria mate and yes I think cattle, but many livestock and grain farms surrounding also. Cheers mate 👍
These homes in the country are always my favorites. I love when you stand outside and pan around and it's just beautiful, flat vistas for miles in every direction. So gorgeous. This one is situated nicely, too, with a few trees and the house was big! And it's in surprisingly good shape. This was such a good find, Paul! I did wonder where your cobweb stuck was when you needed it! 😂 Have a lovely week!
@@urbexindigo5164 Ha! You recognized the dog? I don't know why YT switched my name or even how they got it, but it's annoying! I feel like nobody knows who I am any more! 😂 Oh, and the dog is Kirby. ❤️
Rotting hay or straw - owner must have vacated quickly to leave all that sit - maybe passed away? "Bits & Bobs" - saw the bits but didn't see a single Bob! Must be an Aussie saying! I'm ready for a shindig though!
I hope you take some sort of weapon with you. Just in case you run into dangerous animals or people. Always makes me nervous when you’re approaching a place, or opening a door to a closed room. It’s amazing that so much work was put into building all this-a big home, sheds, barns, hay barns, and then they are just left to rot. I don’t know how Australia is, but here in the US, there’s so many that are homeless. And I’m glad you decided to not go into the hay barn. So many snakes are attracted to the rodents that love that environment! Take care!
I really like the small weatherboard homes, you can really sense the spirit energy of the past life.
Beautiful old farm. I can well imagine what stories could tell.

Ha!
Do you ever have any ghost encounters
Hope he picked up the beers on the way out
I hope you take some sort of weapon with you. Take care!
