Great little house! I've never seen one made of corrugated iron before. Kitchen was great and who would expect a flush toilet in an outhouse! The little hand with the chain is for use with clothes that have back zippers. The clip goes into the hole in the zipper tab and you pull up or down on the hand to zip up or down. My grandmother had one.
Lived in cottage same build these were imported from England I believe as a flat pack Ikea style. Bloody hot and cold to live in and ceilings were insulated with seaweed. Those old Kookas were the best to cook on rented an old cottage with one was soooo good and going strong in the 90's called a gas fitter to clear the jets and you could still get parts to fix them!! This is a gem thankyou
Thanks my friend for sharing with me this video about Abandoned 1910 cottage / old photos and other vintage stuff left behind /Abandoned since 90's it was a very interesting video the house looked very old what happined to the family that is a question mark my friend and i can't wait to see your next video and God Bless and thanks again.
Having grown up in old timber clad houses, with old Kooka stoves, I can only imagine how uncomfortable a tin clad home would be. I am surprised it was even allowed. Freezing in winter, stifling in summer, no insulation. While it is interesting historically it would have been a trial to live in. Looks like an electrical fire, common with old wiring and modern appliances. Thanks for documenting it. It's an example of housing that once existed which most today would never have seen.
What a wonderful find! I thoroughly enjoyed this explore. The kitchen especially was incredible. It looks as if a fire may have been the reason they left. The power box was fried and there was what looked like fire in the walls of the hallway where you entered. The original touches in the hallway were so nice to see...the archway and shelves. That stove in the kitchen was new to me and I loved it. Thanks so much for this one. The older ones are my favorites.
The older ones like this are my favs too lladylobo1 :-) I think that fuse box blowing up was the last straw for the owners and they moved on it seems. It has been a long time and had the true forgotten feel to it. Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching :-)
What a wonderful old place. The kitchen is phenomenal. Beautiful old enameled stove. Because the summers were so hot a porch was often used for a "summer kitchen.." That way the house wasn't heated up by the cooking. We had one in our old farmhouse. Thank you so much for sharing this beauty. Glad to see your getting rain. Have a good weekend.
Absolutely love your videos. Youre doing a big favour for history and future generations. Also lets those explore who are unable to leave the house for whatever reasons. Inspiring, relaxing and important, thankyou!
Urbex Indigo I like the explore very nice antique furniture and other things I liked the curtains very nice. Thanks for the nice video be blessed with loving care and grace.
Hi Jeni, glad you felt time stand still too as I did. great old place even if in rough shape. So much to tell those walls I bet. Thanks for watching :-)
What a cool find. The way to tell the difference to women and men clothing is men's button on the right women's button on the left. 😀👍Love the old oven.
Interesting how you mentioned that the black and white photo reminded you of your parent's photos when they were young - mine too. It seems in those days they got dressed up and went out either for family parties or other parties. It looked like fun times. I've never seen corrogated internal walls, almost like mine-orb. The house being 110 years old this year, has a lot of damage, I would have liked to have seen it before squatters moved in. Thanks for capturing this one.
Poor old house had definatly seen better days. Enough original touches left in hall and kitchen to share the time period. I can't imagine cooking in that kitchen with only 1 window. Thanks for the share!
Hi Donelle, yep this old girl needed attention a long time ago. The kitchen is awesome but your right a complete nightmare in summer haha, thanks for watching :-)
Great find! I noticed a can of Bird's Custard in one of the cupboards. I grew up on that. I Googled the Early Cooker and it was first produced in 1917. Very interesting items.
Thank you for sharing your video. When you showed the breaker box. It caught on fire sometime. Probably that's why they left. Sad that they leave pictures and the trophy. I bet this was a pretty house. When it was new. Have a great evening.
Patricia I agree the burnt out power box was probably the last straw and it was time to go. Or perhaps it happened after who knows. Thanks for watching :-)

Glad you enjoyed Bev, it sure did feel like stepping back in time :-) Hot Hot Hot is all I can say for the kitchen, maybe back in the day they cooked on the older one in the porch like a summer kitchen, Thanks for watching :-)
Hi Paul oh wow another beautiful time capsule it would be wonderful to see it restored to its former glory and loved again the photos are some beautiful memories I had a lot of photos taken of me in black and white same as my parents and grand parents. My parents still have the old Hills hoist. I really love your videos that I watch them all over again 🌟
Amber glass pie plate, plate with orange and brown flower print, yellow tupperware, all straight out of the 70's. I have never saw a house made out of metal like that one before. In the summer heat it had to feel like Hades in there with no air. Stay safe and have a blessed day.
This one was awesome,, how original was that place.. feeling very satisfied after TWO old cookers 👍.Imagine the work keeping those tin walls clean . Great start to the weekend mate. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers mate! I stayed in these for 3 hours just looking and taking pics after i did the video :-) I love these old place when they are left original. Cheers for watching, glad you enjoyed too! :-)
I have seen those old wood frame kitchen benches in different colour contrast, Green & White, Red, Blue or Yellow. Thirties Dream kitchen. The Fuse box panel looks as if it took a hit from a lightning strike. If so the old circuit interrupter probably saved a burn down. At least 110 years old, judging from the construction and fittings. Thanks for the look in.
Hi Gary yes it looks as though maybe in the 30`s there was some tinkering, maybe when they stopped using the old stove and got the gas early cook put there too. Vintage old place. Cheers for watching :-)
Nice adventure Urbex Indigo! What a beautiful cottage, so sad to see the left behind memories. One can only imagine what it was like to live there. thanks for sharing 🌹
WOW! You hit the jackpot for originality ! A place back in time and a old shotgun house at that. You find the neatest places. I loved the the kitchen.Thank you for the video!
I love seeing your tours of old houses in Australia. So bizarre what they built houses out of there. The styles, building materials, and decorative designs are so completely different and interesting compared to ours in the States.
Definitely an old one. Never seen an outhouse with a flush toilet before. Makes you wonder why they didn’t put it in with the bath. Lol. Love that you go slow with the videos so we can really see the items there.
I had to seriously laugh out loud when I saw the "outhouse"! I was not expecting a more modern toilet. When I think of outhouse, I think of a small shed with wood seats and a hole in the ground. That one you showed just hit me funny! I would love to actually use those old ovens!
I always enjoy seeing the old kitchens-they often remind me of my Nanny’s house in Mineral Wells, TX. I’m surprised there weren’t more cobwebs in the place since it has been abandoned for so long.
Brianna Visconti yes-downtown Mineral Wells. My sister has psoriasis and Nanny was sure the mineral baths would cure it in the 1950s. So she would take us to the Baker Hotel for mineral baths. So sad to see the condition the Baker has fallen into. It has been explored by several Urbex explorers and some ghost hunters.
Amazing how it’s never been up graded it remides me of my current house I’m living in it hadn’t been touched as well .I’m suprised it’s not really trashed to much it would b interesting if one day someone would fix it up but I guess because of the power board and white ants it’ll never happen they sure built the to last back then .thanks for showing us another oldie.
That kitchen I remember my mum having the same design, oven etc, bought back many memories, the photo was probably of twins.....keep em coming xx Memories are golden x
Hi. saw myself up a ladder renovating this one lol, i loved it. The bottle had a drink inside called polish mead' i love mead there are some lovely tasting ones & some very dodgy ones made. Tfs. :):):):)
Awesome Mighty Mo :-) Mead one of my mates drinks every now and then too haha. Glad you enjoyed this one too mate. I wish you could renovate this one! Thanks for watching :-)
Thank you again, this reminded me of my grandmothers home, thank you for the memories. i some times how did the live in that 30 plus degree heat cooking on stoves like that, and no air con lol i think we are just a little bit spoilt these days.
U need some gloves and a mask on that's not safe please be safe thank u for the video's u do a real nice job God bless u do take care in those kind of places
WAY COOL DUDE!! I own 2 houses, near each other. We call them "Cracker Houses" because it was mostly Florida born people who built them. One 1950 the other 1930. I LOVE THESE HOMES. So much character and history... Just imagine if that house could speak, the stories it could tell us. Great find, good video and excellent job❣️
Urbex Indigo . You're welcome! Thinking further, I wonder if the man that built this house was a laborer or contractor in house construction. This would explain why there were so many different materials; corrugated metal in the kitchen, plaster and lathe, the nice curved metal porch roof. Maybe he was allowed to take the overrun materials for free or almost.
This home would have been lovely in it's day. The kitchen with it's vintage cooker and other period features now in a sorry old state. Someone's memories left behind in the photo's and rewards. Kelley's Heroes is one of my favourite movies, the theme song Burning Bridges. Thank you for this explore
What an interesting old house. I loved the old stove with the Kookaburra, so cool. The house seemed sad, and it’s such a shame that the photos and the trophy were left behind, we don’t know the story of what all happened. Thank you for your great video xxx
I bet it has been empty a very long time. That had to be one hot house with the metal siding and roof. The usual trashing was done but even that looks like it happened a very long time ago. Quite a find Paul, thank you for sharing.
Hi Jo, yes it felt like a time warp in there, totally forgotten and yet still so alive. Hot would be an understatement in summer! lol Thanks for watching Jo :-)
I love the corragated iron idea in the wall, surely has someti g to do with keeping heat out? I love finding photos or letters belonging to past residents. It makes the sense of history about the place so much more real. Excellent video guys.
Love the artistic intro. I have never seen a corrugated building, except out buildings. Pictures make me sad, people who used to be so vibrant. Good job.
You had the right music too go with this place lol, wow what a old looking place, that kitchen has never been cleaned nor painted, great old stoves, nice explore mate.
What a find, old, very old, abandoned since 1993, a time capsule kitchen, metal clad walls, 1930s Metters gas stove, old water heater. loads of old spiders webs
Fantastic exploration!! Lots of interesting things to see and enjoy. That 1956 Olympics Book!!! I wouldn't have been able to leave that there. Your videos just get better and better!! Also love your fb page. 😀👍
Cheers for the support Frankie Taz :-) Glad you enjoyed this one, its good to find these old gems, so much history and character. Thanks for watching :-)
Hi ,I saw a video of yours a while ago n I forgot your channel name and now just come up n I'm happy to find you again ,I love to see your work I love Australian history n this Victorian houses I love ,this one was great in original condition I loved those stoves so old so now you have a new subscriber thankyou I'm from Melbourne, good night from a Frenchy in Australia 🇫🇷🇦🇺🤗
Hi Francoise :-) So glad you found the channel again, and for watching. These old ones I love too and so glad it was in original condition although rough shape. Thanks for for becoming a sub too! :-)
Nice little home. Someone must have loved it for a very long time. Kind of odd they didn't move the toilet inside the tub room, it had the space. An electrical fire in the wiring must have caused it to be abandoned. Another great find!
Even the boys in photos are probably elderly men in their 50s or 60s by now. That place is like a time machine each room is a trip through time. Interesting find thank you for the video.
Bit rough, looks as if someone was looking for something in the floors and walls. Shame about the termite damage, too, makes any renovation way less probable at this point, surprised hasn't seen a demo ball already. Love the tour! Kitchen and that stove were awesome! Still find this style of house there my favorite. Thank you for taking the time and effort! 👍
Hi Willie, thanks for watching. Yep the termites are prob the deal breaker for a restoration attempt. Been neglected too long it seems which is a shame. Thanks for watching :-)
Hey Paul. I loved that old kitchen! Funny that I noticed a turquoise-colored silicone ice cube tray on the floor in front of the cabinet where the newspaper is that you checked the date on. Just didn't fit in that old kitchen. Great video as always!
Ok I FINALLY figured out that brown bottle label. It took me a while. But the words Miod Pitny is the Polish for Mead. Which is alcohol made from honey. As others said the house is a time capsule. I was determined to figure that bottle out lol.
Great little house! I've never seen one made of corrugated iron before. Kitchen was great and who would expect a flush toilet in an outhouse!
Hi Siona, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed. Yes the stove is a vintage classic for sure :-)
Loved this video, thank you.
Hi chris, thanks for watching, so glad you enjoyed. :-)
Wow what a find. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed Laine B, thanks for watching :-)
Hey EAI thanks for watching, unfortunately the corrugated iron would have made it hotter as it was used as a cheaper building material :-)
Thank you, your great at knowing history. the stove even before my time.
Hi ndog2005 thanks for watching. Lots of old things to look at here! :-)
Love the artistic intro. I have never seen a corrugated building, except out buildings. Pictures make me sad, people who used to be so vibrant. Good job.
Glad you enjoyed Windhorses, these are not common but were built cheaper this way. Cheers for watching :-)
Wow, that’s so cool! Would love for you to show more of the lino, it was amazing! Enjoy binge watching your videos ♥️
Hi Romy, glad you are enjoying the videos 😁 thanks for watching, many more videos to come
You had the right music too go with this place lol, wow what a old looking place, that kitchen has never been cleaned nor painted, great old stoves, nice explore mate.
Hey rolf thanks for stopping bye :-) Yeah wanted the period music for this intro. Glad you enjoyed. That kitchen was great, thanks for watching :-)
I bet it caught fire, so that's why they left it.
Sad they left all their family photos behind.
Thanks for the tour, Paul.
looks like a really nice place
Bit rough now but a beautiful old example of how things used to be Ian, thanks for watching :-)
That stove and the rest...what a find! I like the 20's stuff. It's neat to see slight differences in Austrailia compared to United States.
Hi Nancy, glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching :-)
Wow this one was cool to see
Love this old home. It would be nice if someone would restore it back to how it once was. I love the fireplace and all the antiques.
Glad you loved it Maritza, as did I. Would be amazing to see it restored, been too long sitting long this. Thanks for watching :-)
History with a lot of mystery loved the old kitchen.....
Glad you enjoyed Ann lennox, thanks for watching :-)
What a find, old, very old, abandoned since 1993, a time capsule kitchen, metal clad walls, 1930s Metters gas stove, old water heater. loads of old spiders webs
Hi William, yep this is one of my favs now. Thanks for watching :-)
Sweet little house back in its day.
Totally agree Pearly everlasting :-) Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching :-)
Nice little home. Someone must have loved it for a very long time. Kind of odd they didn't move the toilet inside the tub room, it had the space. An electrical fire in the wiring must have caused it to be abandoned. Another great find!
Hi Evelyn, yes the outhouse got an flush toilet upgrade but not brought indoors lol. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed :-)
Yay! Great work Marlena :-) What a cool old bottle, I have a mate who`s wife drinks mead and she is Bulgarian. :-) Thanks for watching
