Lisa, I've lost 20 lbs during my 6 mos on Keto! I'm almost 63 years old, 5' 5.5", weigh under 130 lbs, and recently bought size 6 slim pants! You were a huge inspiration on my husband and I starting this way of eating. BTW, he's lost 35 lbs in the same time frame. Once we started eating this way, it's actually pretty simple! Plus, the impact on my husband's health has been amazing!👏Thank you!💞

I’m going to watch all f your Carnivore videos today. I’m starting today. I’m 45, IBS, gained a few pounds but not feeling my best. I feel like I need to nap every day. I don’t like it. You inspired me to try it. You are beautiful!

Hi Melissa I’ve ton carnivore on and off for 3 years. I have gluten sensitivity and now at 56 veggies are bothering me. Strict carnivore make me feel best. I even gave up my beloved cheese and Diet dr Pepper!! I have tons of energy no joint pain. I keep up with toddlers all week (nanny) so I’m tired but not like before. Like to know how it’s going for you?

I’ve been doing 16:8/keto for 13 mons. I dropped 20-23 pounds within 3 months and have kept it off. I’m 60, 5’7 and 123. I really enjoy eating this way and my blood work is perfect. Lisa inspired me last year. If someone asks me what I do I just say I eat low carb. It’s not worth going into a lengthy conservation. There are a lot of low carb foods out there that send many of “my count every calorie friends” into a tailspin. The most surprising part is not being hungry in between meals. That’s crazy to me.

I too have suffered from IBS for several years and being post menopausal did make it worse, but after eating carnivore for the past 2 weeks (thanks to you) I’m actually feeling better…Thank you 😺 And yes, I agree that in order to be a better mom, wife…you have to feel good about yourself, be a better you

Lisa, I have been Keto/Carnivore since July of 2018. Everything you said is true! I feel wonderful. I'm never tempted by anything because I'm never really hungry.
    I'm 5'3", 110lbs, and I'm also 72 years old! I have some crepey skin,of course, but I look great in my clothes!😁
I eat dinner by 6pm and don't eat again until 1pm the next day. My morning cocktail is water with apple cider vinegar, salt, and Keto Chow Morning Minerals and Electrolytes.
I LOVE Dr Ken Berry. He's what got me to where I am today!
My motto is.... Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels! 😉

😁 You make me smile!!!! Love your energy, your sweetness and genuine personality! I love how you love the Lord and truly trying to help people take better care of their bodies. Everything you said really resonated with me, starting from what you said in the beginning about worrying about things and psyching yourself out about your eating plan causing problems with your social life etc. I truly feel like I’ve done that. And also I’ve started something and failed so many times and how you were able to conquer similar things and how you succeeded in your dieting…I’m about to turn 42, def in perimenopause, recently ordered a really exquisite birthday cake and now I don’t even want it and want to start to implement a keto /carnivore diet in my life. I have dealt with IBS for as long as I can remember, gas, bloating, constipation and diarrhea has become a norm for me. I’ve had terrible skin/hair/nails, migraine/sinus headaches, allergies, rosacea, skin breakouts, eczema at times, brain fog, memory loss, anxiety and depression, fibroids and cysts, lack of energy, inability to lose weight (gain weight vs lose weight) etc. I’m just truly tired of feeling this way and something’s gotta give. I’m starting this today….I’m done feeling this way. Thank you for your inspiration, keep posting videos, new subscriber!

It’s like your body regulates itself once you hit a certain number on the scale I can bounce 2-3 pounds up or down but mostly stay at the exact same number and have for the last year now too! The freedom from not having to figure out how to feel better every day is such an exciting and amazing feeling like you said you have the headspace now to concentrate on other things it is priceless to truly feel good and not having nagging thoughts about food and your body makes such a difference! No food is so magical so delicious that I would break down for and ruin the feeling I have! Need to check these jeans they are amazing

Lisa, I decided to follow in your footsteps and started carnivore yesterday. I did fall when I went out for Mexican food with my fiance - the chips and salsa..... However, I have found that doing a morning and evening yoga has been helpful as it has lowered my cortisol level and improved my sleep. I, too, weigh daily and was still able to lose weight for the first time after a cheat dinner after adding the yoga that addresses my hip pain. I realize now that I fell due to being so hungry. Today, I ate 3 eggs for brunch instead of my usual 2 and that has helped. Looking forward to more motivational videos like this. Thanks for all you do!

I just wanted to say this way of eating really does work for weight loss. I too have been in menopause a few years. My weight was creeping up. I was up to about 134lbs and I’m 5.6 and 51.. When I was youngerI could watch what I was eating and lose a few pounds but no matter what I did I couldn’t lose anything. I started eating like and I’m down to 117 lbs. My clothes fit better. I feel good. I really wouldn’t have thought it could work, but it really does. Thank you so much! I really appreciate all your videos they are so fun to watch!

Good video. For me, I had that general interest in losing weight and becoming healthier (which is true for most of us), but something significant came along that sparked my interest. In my case it was the FlavCity TH-cam channel, where I learned about good ingredients and bad ingredients. That was a huge “beginning” for me. I started my journey in April of this year. I’ve lost 19 pounds and my doctor has cut my cholesterol meds in half. Once you begin, it doesn’t take long to see (feel) results, and I think that’s crucial in wanting to continue. Good luck, everyone. You can do this. You just need the first little spark to get you started.

Thank you Lisa! You are always inspiring. One thing I do know for sure is that when you don’t have those high insulin levels in your body and you keep those levels down like you do in your daily diet, there is so much anti-aging benefits. I keep reading about it over and over and I try to stop eating those foods that spike insulin. Today I wanted something fast to eat so I chose a chicken sandwich and just didn’t eat the bread. I felt so much better. Starting with baby steps is helpful because you remember how good you felt when you don’t make those poor choices. I only eat when I’m hungry is another thing that you mentioned that I do. I plan on working at it a day at a time to where I can beat those cravings for the foods that really end up as fat storage. I’m so tired of having extra weight at this age of my life. I want to feel and look light on my feet. I run agility with my dog and my dog makes it look effortless because she’s thin. Well, I’m not and I want to be able to run effortlessly too, even if it’s for less than 2-3 minutes doing my course, I want to look good just like my dog. Lol!!❤️❤️. Thanks again for your support!!

I can hear your voice in my head saying it’s just not worth it, and you’re so right… it’s really not. It’s a journey that’s for sure, but I have my eye on the prize. I’m looking forward to being my future self with no pain in my body! Thanks for the inspiration Lisa. You look fabulous and you RADIATE love and joy! ~Susanne 😘💕🌸🌺💐

@@liliac1540 I stop eating at 6:30 and do not eat until 11am. Today for lunch I had an egg with Canadian bacon. For dinner I had grass fed beef that is fully cooked (from Costco…I like to heat it up) over cauliflower rice with salsa & guacamole. I have the beef for lunch a lot too. After dinner I always want something sweet so I have a bit of Dark Chocolate Keto nuggets (they have seeds & coconut also from Costco) and that is it. Now in between I drink water, coffee and will snack on almonds & beef jerky. I gained about 10 lbs during the pandemic and had 5 lbs before that I always wanted to lose. I had tried many times being super strict and would have the same results like you mentioned…only losing 2 lbs after a month and I was miserable. I think by eating more protein at each meal I get more full and not hungry to snack. Whereas before I would be strict and eat something low calorie and not as filling and would fool myself and snack on “healthy” things which would lead to too many calories. Hope that helps! You can do it!

Also some people don’t do well with the high fat in a traditional keto diet and need moderate fat. You need to do trial and error and customize keto for you.

@@hsandechick hey there thank you for answering. No processed foods at all, like I think I gave it 110% and I checked with the strips and was in ketosis! I felt great, had a ton of energy but the weight not budgeting at all was very discouraging.

This is such great advice. I started my eating program one month ago at the end of this week. I'm doing keto/intermittent fasting. It's starting to really improve my pain and bloating. It's really easy... this time! It's like you say, you need to be ready. I had a three year health journey, leaving me bloated and heavy but alive. I knew I needed to get my health and grove back. So I am!

Lisa, because of you I got my crap together and started keto 1 1/2 months ago. I've lost about 11 pounds and could certainly stop here but I know my best feeling weight is another 8 so that's what I'm going to do. I started following Dr. Berry because of you and it has changed my life. My menopause tummy is disappearing before my eyes... and FAST. Hubby lost about 15 now and has 5 to go. Dr. Berry says your body will fall exactly where it's supposed to so we shall see!! And you're so right, we just aren't that hungry.
I'm the same age as you, turned 51 on Sept 3 so I thought this would be harder to come off and its the easiest thing ever!!! Ladies, just start. We took the first 2 weeks and eased into it and then I got the Carb Manager app and went hard core and that's when stuff started really happening. I say keep at most 20 TOTAL carbs per day and get ready to find smaller clothes fast. Thank you Lisa for the inspiration, you're a doll.

You are gorgeous and I have always loved your sincerity. Been watching you from the beginning! I’m premenopausal, so that weight just wants to stick around! I have about 10 more pounds to lose and lost 29lbs with you since last year! ❤️

I’m going to try the carnivore diet now. I’ve never put too much thought into it but veggies really mess with my stomach and I know many fruits and veggies don’t agree with me.
I have heard a lot of fear mongering about meat from vegans but you look fantastic!

Lisa as soon as I turned 45 I started with tummy issues and for years felt bloated and pudgy. You have made me be more aware of the foods I eat and what might be bothering me. I have made a lot of changes in my diet. Not quite as restrictive as yours but I'm down 12 lbs in 8 weeks! I'm interested in the Modere products... how did you decide on what to take. Can you do a video talking about the product? Thanks Lisa! Love how inspiring your are

We all need a good pep talk now and again. I'm still on my weight loss journey and don't intend to give up this time, I only wish I had done this years ago, but no time like the present. Sometimes people want to give me sweets and I just tell them I don't eat that anymore, and they still want to push it on me, but I still refuse and know I'm right in doing so. I still have a long way to go in my goal, I'm the same height as you but not sure if your weight is my goal, I was 118 in College, but not sure how that will look on a 64 yr old frame. It's nice to hear from people though that I am looking good and some are so supportive while others will say, you might gain it back, I ignore them.

I am going on three years of keto and down 31 lbs. - recently just lost a few and I was not even trying. I don't weigh myself everyday so the number on the scale is interesting but not the real reason I eat this way. I also workout and weight lift. For anyone on the fence... start today and give it a few months. You will be amazed at how great you feel!

Hi Lisa I just actually came across your channel yesterday. So many similarities! were 1 year apart my birthday is 9/12 lol, I started dirty keto February of 2021 didn't loose a lb or any inflammation. As yourself when I started carnivore this February of 2022 I did so cold turkey as well. Ive lost 20lbs ( 8 more to go ) it has taken me 6 months to loose 20, I also went through menopause last cycle was August of 2020 and a divorce a few years prior.... lower back pain, gut issues, brain fog, mental health was horrific . I would say I'm 90% better, I agree with everything you've said almost as if Im watching myself. I did cut out all Diet Coke only sparkling water, and regular water, I cannot eat cheeses, or non ruminant meat or my stomach hurts, hives, mood is just terrible or should I say mental health is terrible. Eggs I can only at times eat only the yolk.. Ive only watched about 20 of your videos so far, I did watch your divorce or after divorce last night I believe that was 10 years ago.. Ironic everything is on point in my life but my divorce was only a few years ago.... But still very relatable . God bless you for being able to have the courage to share your honest truth. That takes a lot of strength .. xo

Thanks for the pep talk. I’ve been struggling for months trying to start losing weight again. I eat only when hungry and stop when full as a popular weight loss coach says that’s all that matters but I’m beginning to believe that what we eat (carbs vs protein & fats) play a big part post menopause
