The power of these engines is amazing! I work at Amsterdam Airport and every time I’m walking at the G-pier and a 777 pushes back from F or G the whole pier kinda starts shaking from the huge bass coming from these engines when they start up. Goosebumps every single time
I have only been on a 777 twice when I was 10 (flying from the US to UK and back) and I was amazed at how HUGE the engines are on these planes! This is why the 777 is my favorite two holer!
They are at idle, however that person is actually about 80ft infront of the engine (well outside the ingestion zone), its an optical illusion caused by the size of the engines
@@nishanthdommety5110 yes - thank you; Im aware of there being two switches to power both of them on. I was inquiring if there was a danger in starting both simultaneously rather than one individually at a time.
@@Cappadoccia04 engines are usually started using the APU, which isn’t strong enough to provide enough power for both engines, but some airplanes like the 747 can start two engines at once eg 1 and 3 and 2 and 4!
The GE90 (engines seen here) are too powerful for the APU that starts them, it has just enough power to start one engine but not enough for both, the second engine uses power from the first engine to start.
Theres an optical illusion caused by the camera angle and the size of the engine, they are 80 to 100ft infront of it, at idle power you'd need to be within about 20ft to be sucked in

You’d also enjoy the startup of a Citation Sovereign too then.
@@EatMyPropwash just looked it up, sounds good!
2 737 hanging from the wings!! 😅😅
GE90 Engines are melody for my ears
when that bass kicks in... my goodness
@U.S.S. DISCOVERY NCC-1031-A i think it is yeah, but not quite an expert. maybe someone else can confirm that
@Sheryl Snow when engine gets silent thats the time of fuel and that bass is for ignition which is starting

A clear GE-90 and human size comparison
I watch this a couple of times a day...On good sound it's amazing
Eat your hearts out RR. This is “The Engine”! AWESOME!!!
Both are really useful engines
Lol. Boring
Beast awakes.
No words can describe the glory and beauty of 777❤❤❤❤❤❤
It is amazing those engines can run at full rpm for hours on end while crossing continents and oceans
Ignition at 00:45. Shit just got real.
Music for my ears !
I love the 777 engines

Awesome
A 777F has GE90-110B1 engines
This video with noise cancelling headphones🎧: oh my god🤤
One engine can be the size of a small airplane fuselage and comfortably seat 4 people across LOL
Yes bro GE90 is simular to the 737's fuselage width
At @2:33 are the engines at idle or full power? If on full power, the person who just passes by has no suction effect from engine ?
They are at idle, however that person is actually about 80ft infront of the engine (well outside the ingestion zone), its an optical illusion caused by the size of the engines
これだけで飯8杯は食えるね
Is Very good
Isn't it the 110B for the shorter 777s? Of the -F gets more power over the 200er
The B777F has not the G90-115B. It´s the GE90-110B1, the same as B777-200LR.
Silly question but why aren’t both engines started simultaneously?
On some versions of the -200, they do start simultaneously.
Two separate switches for engine

Don't they normally start the engines during pushback and not after?
Danger job
We will depart around 12:15am, 12:25am, 12:35am, or 12:45am on our schedule, depending…

It uses Boeing 777-200LR and 777-300ER Fleet.
O acionamento do segundo módulo do motor pela APU o barulho e estranho kkkkk para fazer o fan principal girar tooop que filmagem linda
We’re pushing back few minutes early! We’ll depart midnight.
This is music to me
The boing 777 g90 is so loud omg
I thought the 777F uses the GE90-110B...
Optioned by customer
@@noble_xx1000 The GE90-115B is exclusively used on the 777-300ER.
@@ChrisZoomER correct. Its a option on the freighter they can choose a 110 like Lufthansa does or a 115 as Turkish has here.
Bizim uçak oğlum bu THY
Its just ridiculous the size of the human to the plane.
I’m just a kid and idk why it didn’t suck the people into the engine lol

Frighter B777 used only GE90-110B1 ENG'.
It’s about to takeoff in 20 or 40 minutes.
I thought the engines will suck them up
How many pound of Thrust

thats a large b777 engine
İlk çalıştırma yok burada motor ısınmadan önce gürültü çıkarıyor
Les bruits du début c'est l'APU
Id be standing in front of the nose gear.....not by the engine
Just the fact that it’s staring head-on.
